エンゲージメントプログラムでA/Bテストをしようと思っているのですがうまくいかず どのように作成したらよいのかご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたらご教示いただけますと幸いです。   【今やっていること】 ・エンゲージメントプログラムで作成しているメールを右クリックしてNew Testをクリック ・テストタイプはメール全体 ・テストタイプの下には自動的にメールが記載してある。 ・挑戦者を選択したいのですが、選択したらメールと同じメールが入ってくる。 　この挑戦者を変えたいのですがどのように変えるのでしょうか。 　また、チャンピオンはメールに自動的に記載されているメールになるのでしょうか。 ・次へを押すとチャンピオン設定というところがあるのですがこれは勝者のメールを送る日時の設定なのでしょうか。 それともA/Bテストを実施する日時の設定なのでしょうか。   宜しくお願いいたします。

Hi everyone, I'm currently concepting some of our custom tracking activities and wondered about how we can realize this the best way. From what I read "custom activites" would be a possibility BUT I'm not quite sure if they are really usable. Can custom activities be written by JS API as well or just by REST API? Basically I'd assume that a Munchkin Lead Tracking should offer this possibility but from the documentation I didn't have the impression that this isn't possible. Do you see any restrictions we have to consider?Don't like to settle on a technology which we can't use at the end due to e. g. limitation to REST API and it's limit of 50k calls per day. As one of our use cases we like to track some usere interactions with our non-marketo website. Like Downloads or sending non-marketo contact forms. This kind of interactions should be used for lead scoring later on. Kind regardsWolfram

For Demographic and Behavioral Scores, we use a "score cap" so that these scores cannot go above a certain limit so that our score degradation models work properly. I.E. if score goes above 100, reset to 100. But this causes a problem where the Person Score does not get reduced.   I would like to know if you can build Person Score in a change data value flow step something like: {{lead.mkto_Demographic Score}} + {{lead.mkto_Behavior Score}}. If so, what would be the correct syntax? I've tried multiple ways to no avail. 

Hello,   We are seeing spikes to web visits in GA that correspond to days we send nurture emails via Marketo. Appear in GA with campaign source and medium are "zbexfgb.dbz / email".    Suggestion on how to address? I've updated the Bot Activity setting in Marketo and reached out to Marketo support.    Thanks!  

Hello,   we are trying to leverage the Data Layer that is being generated for the forms through Marketo. We want to collect the form ID, form name(in our case this is the Program name, captured via token in the form) and the event type.   I have this demo page https://info.softwareag.com/tracking-events.html and this JS that should control the implementation: https://info.softwareag.com/rs/858-DJP-749/images/tracking_events.js    The problem is that on form.onSuccess(or form.onSubmit) the eventType stays as "formLoad". But in fact it should change to "formSubmit".   Do you have an idea how to fix this?   Kind regards, Yavor

Hi everyone, we like to setup a reminder service for our customer. Use case is: - User fills out a form - which includes a date picker for a reminder - user selects a date which can be up to one year in the future (limited by the form) - At the specified date we send an email to the user    My current setup is: - Fills out form saves the date as lead data field - Fills out form triggers a campaign. In the flow I added a "wait" step specified to: -- Type "Date Token" -- End on {{lead.name-of-field}}   What I wonder is: - This smart campaign - once started - has to run up to 1 year till it triggers the send out. Do I have to expect issues with such a long wait time?  - Do you see any alternative setup for this?  - How could I stop the send out for such a user in case he will change the date.    What I checked but doesn't seem to be possible - Setting up a  smart campaign which is run on a daily base - Adding a filter like if field XY is {

Recently figured out a great feature which saves a great amount of time to import the entire program from one Marketo account to another. Wonder if it's also possible to import one single campaign under a program.   Thanks!

Hello,   I recently came upon an issue in our Marketo instance where an email was sent out and on the recipient side, most of the copy did not populate and instead was blank. Once notified of this, I went into the email editor and all the content was there. Has anyone ran into the issue before? Any suggestions on how to tackle this?    I assume it is an HTML issue, for whatever reason, my instance seems to add a ton unnecessary code when I copy and paste content into the editor. However, I don't have much experience with HTML so this may be normal?   Any help or advice would be greatly appreciate!   Thanks!

Say you created an engagement program, where you send e-mails to customers every two weeks. But you do not want to send emails to customers who are facing system error with your product, dealing  with natural disasters and other irregular troubles. (Seems very rude to keep contacting them when they are having troubles)   How would you automatically keep the list of the engagement program up-to-date? 

I am working on a form with picklist values and I would like helper text of "Select your role" etc to appear as the default option in the pulldown but it is not one of the actual options so I don't want the form to submit unless someone selects one of the actual roles. How do I make this helper text a value but not a selectable option to pass the form?  

Hey Everyone,   I recently had a need (and have had this need before in a variety of other scenarios) to compare the value in one Marketo field to the value in another Marketo field for the same record. Since Smart List filters are unable to reference 2 fields in relation to each other, and you can't use tokens in your Flow Step Choices I have been at a crossroads.   I have the need to compare a Date/Time field to another Date/Time field to see if Field 1 is after Field 2. I do use FlowBoost for populating a combined lead score and a few other things, and it seems like it might be the tool to help. I would be grateful for any guidance on how best to set that up.   Thanks! Ed

Hi All,  Just double checking - if I change the values on a field in SFDC meaning that if the field values used appear as A,B,C but now they will be A1,B2,C3 - will that affect anything on the marketo side? The field name is staying the same, just updating how the values appear. This is a picklist field. The field also already has data associated, meaning that records already have values associated with this field.    The reason for the change, is that this field is both on the contact & account object, and we want to establish a hierarchy on the account level. So if the contacts all have different values, we want the highest value to be associated with the field on the account object. In order to do that we need to rank the field values & have a number in them now. 

As it works today, if you miss to fill out a required field you will see “This field is required”. If you miss to fill in several fields you will still see “This field is required” one field at the time.    Would it be possible to show the number of fields that is required as a complement to how it is today? For example if I have not filled in any form and press Download/ Submit button, it should appear a text that says “7 fields are required”.   Thanks!

Has anyone out there connected their Marketo instance to Google Data Studio?  What are you using for the integration?

Hey all!   Working on a campaign that basically flows like:   Lead has Pre-Approval: Add to Program (Data Value Change from False to True) Send Email 1 Wait Send Email 2 Remove from Flow   Simple - but my question is, they can be also be removed from the flow at any point based on a different data value change (say True to False)   I'm assuming the best solution is to make two campaigns within the program: Campaign 1 - The initial insertion data change + email flow Campaign 2 - Basically an exiting campaign that if they're a member of Campaign 1 and meet  the exiting criteria (Data Value Change from True to False)   Would this work?

tl;dr: Leading and trailing spaces are valid in an <a href> and the link will still work for the end user. But in a Marketo email, an accidental leading space means the link won’t be tracked.   Without reading the official standards, can you describe the differences between a valid URL and a valid href? How about between the href attribute of an HTML A tag and the href IDL attribute of its Location object?   My guess is there only a few people in the world who can recite these off the top — members of WHATWG or W3C. I have a new sales rep that was added in Microsoft Dynamics about a month ago. They are the owner of many contact records. The old sales rep (sales owner) is still showing on the records within Marketo, even though the new rep is the sales owner on the records in Dynamics. The new sales owner name isn't even showing up as a dropdown in Marketo anywhere. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Other records seem to be updating appropriately.

The content is sent to a web hook , which transfers the data to our server.Everything works smoothly as long as I do not place a newline in the text area fields. Many of our forms for events, include custom disclaimers that indicate the value of the event and the contact email.  Rather than create separate forms for all of our events, I'd prefer to create a single form and use a local token to populate the custom disclaimer (rich-text) field within the form.  But when I do that, the form does not appear anymore on the landing page.  Are local tokens supported in Forms 2.0?
