I am recreating our lead flow process in Marketo, and I have been asked to "delete" the person who is newly created who has only unsubscribed, i.e. that is the only interaction/engagement (for some reason we are getting numerous entries such as these and they are not even worthwhile putting in our database, at least not to my management).  So, in one campaign, I am going to check for this scenario after using the trigger, Person is Created, then Delete Person if they have only filled out "unsubscribed" form.  But, at the same time, I have another campaign also with the trigger, Person is Created, then I want to go through the rest of the processing, which I am assuming I should do after a wait step.  Another alternative, is to put these steps all in one campaign, but my concern with putting these Flows all in the same Campaign is that I don't know what will happen with the processing if the lead is deleted?  Does it just fall apart/skip the rest of the processi

Hey all,   I'm in the midst of a renewal RFP with Marketo where we are so badly wanting to stay w/ Marketo, and so in doing an apples to apples comparison between Marketo, Eloqua, and Pardot/Mktg Cloud platforms, I'm trying to figure out where to play defense.   I'm trying to poke legitimate holes in the competition in relation to Sales Insight.   Eloqua has a lesser platform called Profiler, but I haven't seen what similar platform Pardot may have to Marketo Sales Insight.  Does anyone have any knowledge of this - or better yet, how it pales in comparison.  SFDC did not provide any details here.

Hello,   I am trying to set-up a personalized email for our internal account executives about their loss opps. My dilemma is that there are multiple opportunity in one AE. An AE could have 6 accounts and I want to be able to put them all in one email rather than sending them individually and getting them spammed with emails. I can't figure out how to connect these data points all in one AE email since Marketo will dedupe email addresses. Does anyone have a thought of a workaround for this? I have a landing page with a Marketo image on it. For some reason Marketo seems to be removing the css class "card-img-top" and replacing it with "lpimg" which is breaking the styles. On the first two images it is working fine. It's onlly on the last one this is happening. We've been noticing that our Web Activity capturing has been declining for some time now. As a result we are missing on a lot of insights feeding our Behavior Score logic. My understanding is, we are currently missing that data for over 30% of Known Leads interacting with us. To get this number, I was testing people who were meant to record a web page visit from an email link click or a form fill out, but in fact that activity was missing (in many cases any web activity was missing what so ever).   I wonder how everyone else is doing, and feeling about it? Obviously, we should respect the choice of a visitor to stay anonymous, but where I see the problem is lots of Ad Blockers and latest Browsers just block Marketo munchkin by default. So instead of us being able to build good experience for our audience and gain their trust, this has been left to Marketo and the Browsers/Ad Blockers to sort out.   Is there a way to call munchkin.js from our landing page domain, the same way

We are in the process of restructuring our instance to split out a highly used channel into more specific sub-channels for more accurate reporting. We are rebuilding ~250 programs but want to mark all of the successes in the old programs as successes in the new programs with their historic success date. We can export all of the contact records with their success dates in each program via RCE and can easily say what each of their new successes would be in each new program. Curious if anyone has any experience with using Zoom's launch point service with Marketo, with more than 10 connected users? We're trying to enable other users from our team to go in and create their own Zoom webinars, as well as Marketo programs.  But it seems as though there is a 10 person limit (Noted in the Enabling Zoom Users to use Integration part of this Documentation) for how many members can have the Marketo app installed on their profile within Zoom.  My question is, how are other users currently using the Zoom launch point integration? Do you have one main Zoom login connected where all of your webinars are hosted? Or are the webinars hosted through individual members accounts within Zoom, and each member connects their account to a new launch point service? We're a global organization, and may have more than one Zoom webinar running at the same time. So we're trying to determine the best process that will be ideal for our team with the overall setup.&nb

Wanted to see if anyone else had experienced an issue with the Marketo and Drift integration where someone came to you website, engaged with the Drift chat bot, but were recognized as the wrong person. Right now we have it setup so that if someone was already identified by Marketo, Drift will automatically recognize them as a known contact. However it recognized one our our own employees as a customer and so it showed the customer email instead of the one her own lead should have been cookied as.    Any help or ideas would be appreciated. 

We are using the Zoom integration through Launchpoint to integrate a Marketo landing page and form for people to register for a webinar hosted with Zoom. The issue is that we have several fields that are required for our lead scoring and assignment processes (Job Title, HQ Location Country, Country, Company Name, Industry). We want these to be required fields on the Zoom page because invariably we get people who register directly with Zoom bypassing the Marketo form - then we are missing critical information and it reduces our ability to process those prospects. Is there a way to have Marketo pass these field data to Zoom so that we can keep the fields required on the Zoom page without encountering registration errors?

We are planning to use DemandTools with our Salesforce instance to merge duplicate records, but testing this has shown that the person score is summed in Marketo when the records are merged (causing lots of MQLs that aren't real). Has anyone had any success preventing this from happening?   We thought we could try resetting the non-master record score to zero, so we uploaded a csv with email addresses and casesafe IDs (thinking that field would act as the unique identifier between duplicates), but instead of working it actually changed both casesafe IDs to be the same.   Thanks in advance for help - I've opened a support ticket with Marketo, but always have better luck here. 

How would you explain a person who answer the form/survey from the link in any email, but NOT registered as click in the report, and has not been marked as invalid or suspended?   Thank you all for the help.     

Looking to conduct an a/b test for subject line and want to do dynamically with a lead token field. Is this possible?

Hi, I am having trouble using emojicons (Q-encoded) in my subject lines. When I use this subject line "Schauen Sie sich unser Produktvideo an " it works. No matter emoji I use.  The code in the back-end is still "Schauen Sie sich unser Produktvideo an =?utf-8?Q?=F0=9F=91=8B?=" . If I use this subject "Schön, Sie kennenzulernen, Eric Eggebrecht =?utf-8?Q?=F0=9F=8E=A5?=" it doesn't work. No matter what Emoji-code I use. In the first case it shows the emoji, in the 2nd it doesn't. I tried it several email assistants – doesn't matter. It's always the same. Has anybody an idea why this may happen?Many thanksEric

I'm working on a page where upon a form submit they would like a light box to come up that contains some additional information and another form asking additional information. I've gotten a popup with a form on a regular button click and I've gotten my current page to pop up a lightbox on the form submit but I'm struggling with how to combine the two. Hi,I am wondering if (known) visitor's time on page can be tracked/measured. Like, visitor is on page for at least 30 seconds.Intention behind this is to use this for behavior scoring. Like, if the visitor spends at least 30 seconds on any page (either company web site or Marketo landing page) increment his/her behavior score by 1.Is there any way to do this? We are consolidating and standardizing our forms with progressive profiling.  However, different contacts have different fields already filled in.  Some of those fields are time-sensitive.  We use a flow to save the date in another field.  This works fine when we know which form that field appears.  Is there a way I can tell when a particular field is served up to a contact on a form?

I am looking into whether is is possible to capture viewing data of anyone who watches an on demand webinar in GoToWebinar's GoToStage.We are syncing the info from the individual webinars we are running in GTW but wanted to know if we can capture info automatically if we send them to GoToStage instead of gating each webinar individually. Hi all,    I was hoping someone could review (my pretty dodgy) marketo process map,  I am looking for guidance on which should just be programs and which should be nurtures and the best way to structure all of the interactions,  If a prospect completes a form and are a current customer we plan on putting them in a current customer (default?) program with static list but we also want to acknowledge them via email. For prospects who complete the form they will all;  Receive a welcome email (welcome email program?)  and at that point these will all be put into individual nurture programs based on two variables;  Per persona type and Geography (e.g.)  College Internationally Should i be controlling the entry to each nurture program from within the nurture programs themselves or as a traffic controller program? Also created a custom field type Url Called "Image upload" and use this field in my form to upload the image. Hi,    1. I am trying to copy the values from Opportunity Constraint custom fields to a token. But the token does not gets populated with the value. Can anyone help me to guide to copy the values from constraint custom fields to token or any custom or standard field.    2. I have mapped the Marketo with Facebook business account. The Facebook form capture leads and sends to Marketo.. But there are cerrtain fields in custom activties which do not get stored in any Marketo field. I hope someone can help me out! We are currently sending out a newsletter on a bi-monthly basis - one of our largest email blasts. In 2019, the average open rate was around 30%/35% per newsletter. Since the beginning of 2020, this rate dropped and the 3 newsletters we sent out this year all ended up around the 25%. We do not know what has caused this sudden drop so consistently, as the newsletter remained similar in quality as did the target audiences. We have done some A/B testing for any changes in 2020 versus 2019, but nothing big came out of this. I know open rates are not always accurate but a -10% drop is extremely big. I am enticed to think it could be due to a different way open rates are measured by Marketo/ISPs, because it happened year-over-year, but that is just an assumption. Does anyone have any ideas what could have cause this large drop or how we can tackle this?
