Hi   I am configuring a webhook with method type as POST for the below URL's production: https://www.example.com   UAT: https://www-uat.example.com     For the prod URL, it is working fine in webhook as well as through POSTMAN but for the UAT url, it is working fine in POSTMAN but throwing error string as "www-uat.example.com Name or service not known" and no status code   Has anyone encountered this kind of issue before? Any suggestions here please to get this resolved?   Thanks.

We're trying to update our email template to reflect our new brand but are receiving this error:   Email Template with Id 1630 is currently pending approval. Please wait to approve it again.   Has anyone seen this or know what it means?

Business Issue: Do a bulk extract of the Marketo data using minimum IT resources and finances. ? Solution: Marketo we will start archiving Email send and delivered data prior to 90 days, so it becomes important we take regular back up of Marketo data using Marketo Bulk Activity Extract (which will save APIs calls). In the below example, I have used App Script and Google Sheet to do the extraction and copy of the data. You can also notify the user when the job is started and completed.   The flow looks like below:   You can create triggers to run the job on hourly, daily basis as well.    Finally, you can link the Google Sheet with PowerBI which is a one time sync to get the insights automatically in PowerBI. let me know in case if you want to start archiving your data in Google Sheet and before Marketo retention policy kicks in.

We've been using Zoom as our webinar provider, and I noticed that I am no longer able to see any upcoming marketing webinars when I attempt to sync my event program to that Zoom event. I've spoken to support for both Marketo and Zoom, and neither has an answer for me. I have a second Zoom user for research webinars, and I can see events in that drop-down.   Both users are admins in Zoom. Neither has an error showing in the Launchpoint setup (I've re-authorized both). Zoom support has confirmed that both are setup correctly on their end, and they said that either a request is not sending out to Zoom for the information or a response is not being understood by the Marketo program. They requested that I ask Marketo support for logs to see what's going on on this end, which I've done.   When I go to select the event partner, I can select Zoom. For Login, I can select Zoom Marketing Webinars. This is where "Event:" should load a drop-down of all upcoming events for that launc

I'm in the midst of integrating Marketo with Zoom. I've gained success with adding Zoom's service to LaunchPoint. The webinars in Zoom are seen in Marketo when I set the Event Program. That comes through fine. I also am able to get Registrants through to Zoom from the Marketo Form and trigger campaign.  The issue I have now is getting the attendees to pass through Marketo. I have found 2 great documents below with steps on integration but I think it may be overkill for our set up. And I am not getting the results I need without exporting the Attendees out of Zoom and uploading an external list. Here's our set up, so if you are an expert, please reply. We don't use multiple instances of Zoom. We will have 1 webinar hosted, recording at one time. Not several happening at 1 time. I have added the Zoom Webinar App for Marketo in our Zoom licensed account. I understand the webhook needed is for Zoom to Marketo and vice versa but I am not clear building a unique

I've made changes to an email template, but those changes aren't being reflected in the email. I know they are connected because any changes to the template force me to approve a draft for the email. Additionally, I have approved the draft when sending.When I download the HTML for the email, the code is from an earlier version of the template, and not my approved version.Any ideas? Worst case scenario, I can copy + paste the updated HTML into the email itself, but I'd very much prefer not to do that in case it disconnects from the template altogether.

Hi All,    I've cloned a previously used smart list into my new campaign but do not know how to link it to my Invite Email #1. Can someone tell me how to add this?   

We have a landing page - our first landing page.  When I view the link in different browsers, as well as mobile, I see that it's secure.  However, when I test the link with other people, they get the message that the page is not secure and they are not able to see the landing page.  I've checked the images and links and updated them all to be https, and then unapproved and reapproved the landing page. Even deactivated and reactivated the smart campaign.   Is there something else that I'm missing?  Why  can I see the secure page but nobody else?

When I go to Smart Lists, I don't see a folder for "Opportunities"   This is what the filters for smart list look like:      Where is Opportunity fields? I want to run a report/create a smart list that includes opportunity fields.   Thanks!

Hi,  I am creating a smart list to see our inactive leads for past 6 months and for more than 6 months. So for 6 months it's very clear but what should I put in Date of Activity field for more than 6 months in past? Thanks Mohit

I'm looking for an answer to:    If a Marketo triggered email was sent out from a new value change - I'd like to know if there is a way to create a 'Task' in Salesforce on the Opportunity level, not the Contact level, that shows that the email was sent out of Marketo.   We have 'SF Contacts' which have multiple SF Opportunities, so notating the SF Contact is not what we're looking for. If one of our SF Contacts has 10 opportunities, it will be a nightmare for our reps to search through Tasks the Contact level, rather than the Opportunity which the trigger fired off of the new value change.   Is this possible?   Thanks in advance. -SH

"To unsubscribe to updates..."    I have custom css in to make the checkbox appear to the right  /* Add your custom CSS below */ .mktoForm label[for="Opt Out"] { float:left!normal; margin-left: 10px!normal; width:316px!normal; }   I thought changing the text in the code to normal instead of important would fix, but not the case.    Any ideas?   

How can I view the rendered HTML on a form? Not the embed code but the true HTML of the form. When I view the source code of a page with the form it only shows the embed code.

I build an email in Marketo to support an event with a partner company. Their marketing department wants a PDF version so they can email to their prospective customer base. Is there any way to do this?I tried to download the HTML and then print to PrimoPDF but the email spreads to 2 pages, and I can't adjust the page settings to get the content to stay together.Any ideas?

Hello,   I want to send unique (promo) codes to customers when they register for an event of product mailing. These codes should be generated automatically when people fill in the form and send to them with their conformation. Does anyone has an idea what the best way is to do this? 

Hi everyone, I want to submit a situation like that: I've created a program with a form, relative to an event/webinar. I've also added custom program member fields to this program, but they are not fillable by form, because they have a post-event purpose (like the number of viewed sessions or minutes of attendance).   Then, I've got a script that parses a spreadsheet: it has email, # of viewed sessions, and minutes of attendance; when I've retrieved the lead ID, I would like to update my custom program fields (numberViewedSessions and minutesAttendance) by REST API.   It's possible to do that? I can update a lead by a POST to /rest/v1/leads.json and the status by a POST to /rest/v1/leads/programs/{programID}/status.json, but I don't know if there is a way to update those fields. I set up a webinar using Zoom webinars, and it's connected to my Marketo. However, my company doesn't use Marketo landing pages or forms to capture registrants - we use the Zoom registration interface.   Is there a way to sync leads that sign up via the Zoom form, into my Marketo smart campaign? I want to be able to auto-capture leads, add them to SFDC, attribute program success and source, etc. etc. Haven't been able to find any help documentation on this.     

I have a case open with Marketo, but I wanted to ping the community as well as I know it's their holiday week and responses might be limited.  I am trying to retrieve the list of recent BULK Lead Extract jobs in our instance, but I am not seeing any since 06/27.  I KNOW there are some because I've been running them and retrieving results; I even have the exportID's, but they're non-existent in Marketo, even ones I ran today.   Has anyone else ever experienced this, or is currently?

I have created and turned on our lead scoring program.  Our current MQL score is 60 so basic behavior and demographic scoring campaigns are from 1-60 points.  I notice persons starting their score in the hundreds, how can this be?  

Q. In Marketo is there a way to compare fields and trigger a workflow if a match or tie exists? e.g. set of score fields that hold the same score? Do I need to use a webhook for this?    Basically what I am trying to create is: If there is a tie between a set of 8 score fields (example score 1 = 3 score 6 = 3 and score 9 = 3) then populate a field, e.g. text field named “score-match” with a value of true. Then use this field in campaign logic so it reads if field is “empty or false” then use current product interest field (this is a separate unrelated field that uses highest current score and product interest label of that score) to determine product track. Whereas, if score-match is "not empty or true" then use in workflow to add member to a smart campaign with a priority structure using choices and list membership to determine correct product track. Our stakeholder wants to only use priority of product track IF a tie exists.

I am trying to set up the native salesforce integration for our Marketo instance. I am experimenting with in our Sandbox instances first, which I connected over the weekend.   When I was playing with the people in Sandbox, I noticed that I could not merge a Marketo-only record with it's duplicate record that spanned both Marketo and Salesforce. I was told by support that this has to do with the permissions our integration user has inside of Salesforce. All the Marketo docs I can find only ever reference recommended read/create/edit/delete access for specific areas (like Leads vs Contacts vs Accounts, etc) but they don’t reference what standard field-level permissions we need to continue to utilize standard Marketo features as if it wasn't integrated into Salesforce (for example, merging a Marketo-only contact with it's duplicate record that exists in Salesforce).   Does anyone know where I can do to find this?

Hello,   I read a few threads but still couldn't find the answer I'm looking for. Here's my situation:   After hosting a webinar, Marketo updates the members' statuses to attended or no show. Then, we send different email follow-ups based on these statuses. I'm trying to find a way to update the 'no show' status to 'attended on demand' if someone clicks on two specific links (presentation or video) provided in that email follow-up. Note that the links are provided through a marketo token I used in building the email.   What would be the best practice to do this? I've tried building a smart campaign with a trigger on "clicks link in email" - email is "..." but it didn't change the status when I tested. How should I enter those specific links so Marketo can recognize them?   Thank you!

Is there a way to capture the URL itself in hidden field on a Marketo form? We already capture URL parameters, which is great. But I'd like to also be able to just capture the URL itself (the main part of the URL before the question mark). Then we would know which page the user was on when he/she filled out a given form.The use case is kind of a long story, but it's related to the fact that we use a single Marketo form for all our webinars. Each webinar needs a different Unbounce landing page, and a mobile version of that page too.I'd like to be able to specify in the form that if [URL where the person filled out the form] contains ABC, then go to thank you page XYZ.Thanks in advance folks!Matt
