Hello,   I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on Engagement Program groupings for a global nurture program.   Version A - By Topic -Engagement Program Topic 1 - Streams = Americas / EMEA / APAC -Engagement Program Topic 2 - Streams = Americas / EMEA / APAC -Engagement Program Topic 3 - Streams = Americas / EMEA / APAC   Version B - By Region -Engagement Program Americas - Streams = Topic 1 / Topic 2 / Topic 3 -Engagement Program EMEA - Streams = Topic 1 / Topic 2 / Topic 3 -Engagement Program APAC - Streams = Topic 1 / Topic 2 / Topic 3   I know there are pros/cons to both - so just wanted to gather some thoughts 🙂    Thank you!

Hi - question/clarification!   If we have an active trigger that is listening for web page visits, and an unknown user visits that webpage and then 2 weeks later they fill out a form and become known, will the original trigger fire retroactively?   In other words - will MKTO know that this user visited the webpage, and run them through the trigger once they're known in the system?   From what I've read, it seems like it is possible, but I don't know the full extent of these capabilities.

Does Marketo provide the ability to prevent users from adding html links within the Marketo form (Field Type: Text Area)? We had a phishing attempt on one of our contact us forms trying to take you to a malicious page.    What do we need to adjust so these can’t happen?

Dear community,   I want to run an AB test for several weeks, where half of the users get version A every week and the other half version B. I want those users to not change versions throughout the whole time spam of the test. If I use random sample, I cannot assure that the same users will get the same version during this time. Do you have an idea how to set this up?    Best, Anna

Business need is to compare two fields and based on that update the lead score. Both fields are integer types and if both value are same that time need to update the lead score. Both field value are being updated from REST API call.  What would be simplest way in Marketo to compare those fields and update the score?  

Hi there,  I'm trying to set up a redirect from a Marketo LP to a LinkedIn events page. I'm using Sandford Whiteman's landing page script; I disabled the munchkin code at the lp level, I'm pretty sure all the JS is correct and I allowed LinkedIn domains in the allowed section but the page still wasn't redirecting. When I checked the JS Console to see what the error was, this is what I'm receiving:    ​ A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://munchkin.marketo.net/munchkin-beta.js, is invoked via document.write. The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message. I am not a developer so I feel like I'm walking around in the dark a little bit here.

(I posted under another thread but thought I would revive it in a new post.) "...is there a way we can embed the video on LP and it plays only after form is filled? Form can be on top of thumbnail or message can popup asking to fill the form."     Currently, I have the "watch now" button with the vimeo follow-up url. The way the thumbnail is placed on the landing page the video starts playing upon click. How do I make the video only play after the form fill? Do you suggest turning off form fill for known visitors? Thanks, --Tracy

I know I am asking a very dumb question. I wanted to know when to use Member of program and when to use member of smart campaign. For my understanding  i know Member of program are the leads that are in the program itself and same in the case of Smart campaign. But I am not able to understand. When and where to use these {Scenerios}. Can someone please explain me?? With an example

Hi guys,   We need to sync our  Dynamics 365 crm with marketo and I wonder what's the best way to do this - we got a quote from adobe to do it for us but it's very $$$. Does anyone know of an agency that could help to get a quote or is it easy enough to do it ourselves? The main issues will be having duplicates that will have to be removed (as apparently that what will happen as many contacts have been manually imported into marketo previously).    Any tips? We are in Australia.

Hi All,   I'm looking to implement Naming Conventions for both Marketo Programs and Emails, which I have in place,  but I'm looking and asking to see if anyone has any idea how to create a naming generator.   What it would/could be is an excel doc where you have options to select with a checkbox or something like that and then it is able to spit out a full name.   So something like: FY Q1 or Q2, Tactic EM or WEB, Type of Account T5 or NM, Region is NA or EMEA, etc.   Then after your selections, it would say FY21-Q2-EM-T5-EMEA... etc.   Anyone have any ideas how to create that?   Any help is appreciated!   Cheers,   Chris

Hello, is there a token available to insert in an email template and subject line for the month only? For example, I want the email to insert the title of the month "July" or "June" or "August" automatically when an email goes out. I am not finding an option for this. Nicole Ott(307) 277-4669

I've noticed that 10 Custom Objects is no longer the standard limit for all instances.  10 may be still be a global hard limit, but I've seen contracts where the limit is 2 CDOs for an instance, but with the option to increase the limit up to 10.  Along with this change, is there also now an option to increase the number of CDO fields from 50 (3 standard plus 47 custom)?

Hello, I'm trying to connect Marketo with other platforms using an integration tool. In order to authenticate with Marketo, it requires Client ID, Client Secret, Authorization Endpoint, and Token End point.   I can find all except Authorization Endpoint. Can anyone here help what should I do if the Authorization Endpoint is a required field?   Thanks, Adi

I have a smart campaign running for a webinar program. Everytime someone fills out a form, a task is being created for one of our execs in SFDC.  I don't have a flow step set for creating tasks, anywhere. Any thoughts on why this is happening?  That exec definitely does not want all these tasks created.

Hi there.   I recently encountered a situation where a lead was navigating through our website but the visitWebPage and clickLink events were not being recorded as activities in the activity log. I checked into the browser configuration and confirmed that: the JS was configured correctly and clickLink and visitWebPage events were being POSTed to Marketo Do Not Track was OFF I expected the events to flow into the activity log. Upon further investigation, I realized that the CURRENT token value for the user was not recorded in the cookies value on the lead record. (I tested this using postman). Lots of other token values were there, but not the current one.
