Question - If I block field updates from Salesforce Sync will this block updates from SFDC to Marketo or Marketo to SFDC or both? Situation -  - We have fields that have existed in Marketo for some time and used constantly (most are Boolean fields). We recently created these fields in SFDC and had Marketo support merge/map them. - I used a smart campaign to sync a group of folks to SFDC with the intent of pushing the Marketo values to SFDC, but, instead, the empty values from SFDC were pushed to Marketo. I have since reversed those folks via a list upload, but still have more that I need to sync over - I blocked field updates for these fields from Salesforce Sync and used another smart campaign to sync a smaller group. I am seeing the Marketo values as they should be, but I am not seeing the same in SFDC. 

Hi All,I was curious as to what the best practices are for tracking Marketo form fills on websites with a specific URL. My current company started tracking these form fills like this: I am not sure if referrer is the correct section to use after doing more research and we can't use Web Page because, from my understanding, Web Pages are only created in Marketo. We would be tracking form fills from a unique URL on our website that uses a Marketo form. (These forms are used elsewhere, that is why we want to be able to track this specifically by website URLs that have our form embed on the site)Would "Browser: contains" or "Querystring: contains" be better? Seems pretty straightforward but just wanted to double-check before updating this.

Hi, I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction here, I'm uploading an email with the API using Marketo Syntax and on the plain text version all links are missing. I've read here that variables are not supported on plain text version, but regular links are also not carried over from the html. The weird thing to me is that if I edit the email and go to the plaintext version and uncheck "Automatically copy from HTML" and then check it again, then the links will show. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,   I was asked to put a "fbq('track', 'Lead');" on our Marketo forms to track Facebook conversions. I was wondering how I would go about adding it to the form on a Marketo landing page? 

Hi y'all,  I'm attempting to implement Google ReCAPTCHA v3 on our forms due to multiple spam issues. We've created the Google secret and site keys and followed along with @SanfordWhiteman's notes for v2 here (adapted for the v3 fields) and his sample code.    We've implemented tokens for the site key and secret key and created JavaScript to create the fingerprint for Google ReCaptcha. A webhook has been created to leverage the fingerprint and secret key. (see screenshot below) In testing the webhook, on form submission, the fingerprint and secret are successfully populated.    However, we are receiving an error from ReCAPTCHA stating "List(invalid-input-response)"   We haven't had any luck in finding an answer on Google. Any ideas here? Is it an issue with the webhook? With the ReCAPTCHA implementation? Hi all,    Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to capture "Interesting Moments" of all leads coming from LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms. However, it doesn't work with Marketo tokens like {{trigger.Name}} or {{trigger.link}} because these triggers are designed to work on Marketo assets only.   Instead of adding an "Interesting Moments" for each LinkedIn Lead Gen program, do you have any other suggestion?   Thanks.  Andréia

Hi, We did analysis of the metadata API's available for Marketo and have few queries as mentioned below:   From below mentioned metadata API's we are not able to figure out : What all operations are supported on the object (GET, PUT, POST)? How can we decide which fields are applicable and mandatory fields if any for a particular operation? We can not decide which field are queryable, we got searchableFields but this is available only in Opportunities object's metadata API response and not in Lead metadata APIs response . There no metadata APIs for Campaign object . We can not decide which field are updateable, however we can see readOnly and updateable attributes in Leads and Opportunities object's metadata API response. Please confirm if we can use these attributes to decide if the properties are updateable or not. Could you please help us on above queries.   Sharing below APIs that we

We have a situation in our Chinese sub domain where after clicking "Submit" on a Marketo form the thank you page takes about 3 min to show.We already made changes in our website (removing GTM and other 3rd party tools - which have improved the time from 30 min!! to 3 min) but the problem still exist.   Any advice of best practices on what we can do in our Chinese sub domain in order to make this better from our side?

Hi there,   I am trying to build a smart list excluding members from another smart list, however, almost all the the people from the 'Top Accounts' smart list are being brought into this new smart list.   Has anyone run into this before/does someone see an error in my logic or filters? Currently I get my analytics from Marketo and then add data from GA.   If you have this integration in place,  what are the insights that you are getting out of this? We are using DOMO as our one-stop reporting tool. We have connected DOMO and Marketo but when we pull email performance report in Marketo we see very different numbers than what we see in DOMO. We're told by Marketo Support it's because of Marketo's algorithm. DOMO is taking raw data logs from API connection while Marketo's algorithm is doing the following:Reporting unique clicks <> DOMO gets all clicksMarketo is giving best interpretation of truth and filtering out bots/server clicks <> DOMO gets all clicksMarketo is drawing inferences based on behavior. So if someone clicked but didn't open, Marketo is counting that as an open. If someone unsubscribes, but did not open, Marketo is counting that as an open <> DOMO is only getting raw data so if there wasn't an actual open it is not in DOMOHow are DOMO users combating this?

Hi All, Is there a way to track Marketo form fills in Adobe Analytics? If so, how would I push this data into AA? Any help would be very much appreciated!

I've noticed that there are a good chunk of records in our system that have missing information in Marketo. For example, a field might be TRUE in Salesforce but in Marketo it says FALSE. If I run a batch campaign and sync them to SFDC, the fields get updated.    My question is - why do I have to manually sync these fields to the records? And why do most of the fields auto-sync but these few fields seem to need a manual push? It seems that after an initial manual sync, any subsequent update is automatically captured by Marketo. Seems like it just needs a jump start.   Any ideas?

Hi All, I am trying to pull a report in RE for lead Inflow and Outflow using the Model Performance Analysis (Leads) report, surprisingly I don't see any data for the previous months (I.e. Jan, Feb and March 2021) count is showing as 0.  However, I am able to see the data for April 2021. We have setup our RCM model in Dec 2020, since then the records are flowing through the RCM model I cross checked the same using smart list as well (able to see the counts in smart list) .    Can anyone help me what could be the issue or am I missing any thing here.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi everyone,   I recently inherited the Marketo instance at my company and have questions on how I can target by unique identifier in a situation where we utilize duplicates. Our unique identifier is email address and program, so one email address can have multiple records associated with several different programs. Additionally, when a record submits an apply now form, a new lead is created in SFDC and synced to Marketo. These apply now leads are routed very differently and assigned to non-marketing queues. I am trying to automate a campaign that targets these duplicate self apply records by unique identifier or email address in order to remove from a nurture flow, but because different SFDC record IDs are members of different smart lists/campaigns, I am running into difficulties in targeting them. Hello,   We have set-up partitions and we have asked the implementation of custom dedup in order to be able to have duplicates between our partitions. However in a given partition we want to be able to deduplicate our leads. Example: We have a contact john.doe@company.com in partition A: we want to allow to create john.doe@company.com in partition B by list import because it does not exist in that partition yet. we want to prevent to create, by list import, a second lead "john.doe@company.com" in a partition where it already exists. Concerning Marketo form, our need is the following: We have a workspace A related to partition A. we want to make sure that when using a form contained in workspace A, the flow applies only on contacts of partition A. when a new contact complete a form contained in worskpace A, then the contact is only created in partition A.   Do you know how we should set it up because currently the custom dedupe implemented works between our partitions but
