I am investigating some Marketo Salesforce sync issues where many duplicates are being created in Salesforce from a single lead in Marketo. This happens has happened on several unique dates from a list import, but not for all leads on the list. This issue is not related to Contacts in Salesforce, all duplicate records created are Leads.   8:42 - Top Row: Marketo creates the Lead from the list import 9:01 - Second Row: Salesforce creates the first Lead - Person Source = List Import 9:07 and 9:24 - Top Row: "Error updating Sfdc lead id after crm creation. Leads might have already been synched." 9:39 - Top Row - Marketo inserts original Lead into Salesforce   Any ideas? Here is the activity log for the first two rows: I can't figure out why a new row is created before Salesforce tries to process the top row (original Marketo lead).    Thanks, Brian

I cloned one of our previous email campaigns which had about 2300 people in the smart list then added a date filter which updated the audience list to be 9Million whereas our total database has about 12,000. When we export the 9M list it shows about 2400 people which is close to what we would’ve expected. Also, when I click on the "people" link within the email campaign dashboard it even though it shows the total number to be 9M, after about 2400, it says "no members found". The same this is happening when we try to create a new email campaign    Has anyone ever come across a similar situation? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.    Tahsin 

I want to run a report/list that shows all smart lists/campaigns that have trigger criteria in the smart list.   For example, this campaign would be returned on the list as it has 'added to SFDC campaign' criteria.      Is this possible?   Thanks! Tom    

Hello,   I could use some help solving a sync error between Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics. The sync is functional and leads get created in Dynamics but certain fields are not updating between the systems.   Where should I be checking in Marketo and Dynamics to make sure all fields in both systems have the correct permissions to be updated?   In Marketo I have checked that: The sync is enabled The fields we want to sync are selected in the sync field details The fields do not have anything blocking field updates in field management. I do not have access to the admin side of CRM so I appreciate an insights/specifics about what to check there.   For context this became an issue when we noticed that the phone number on a contact in Dynamics had not been updated after that contact filled out a marketo form with a new number. The phone number changed in Marketo but the contact record in Dynamic did not.

Hi, I have created landing page on marketo and added one CTA and one link on LP For ex. - engage.zycus.com/cognitive-procurement.html and added Request Demo CTA and link on Merlin text. But the emails are fetching the first available meeting date and not fetching the correct meeting date as per the campaign conditions as one record has multiple meetings.How can I displayed the date as per the Smart campaign's date conditions such as StartDateTime (data type=datetime) in future after 7 days. The field I am using in the velocity script is Appointment_Start_DateTime_Text__c(Data Type=Text).Appointment_Start_DateTime_Text__c and StartDateTime both have the same value just the data type is different.

Hello community,  We are checking the possibility of using adbridge in order to send leads from Marketo to Facebook (for instance) in order to create ads for custom audiences. However, we have doubts on the GDPR side:  Which data is shared between Marketo and Facebook in this case? Is it the ID or is it the email, name etc.? Thank you!

Hi - I'm just now aware of the notification of Form 1.0 deprication as mentioned here. All the forms I have on the site so far use this: <form method="post" action="app-sj07.marketo.com/index.php/leadCapture/save" id="form">, no web services or anything like that.    The question is to ensure the forms continue to work now and in the future (after the deprecation), do I just need to change the action URL to app-sj07.marketo.com/index.php/leadCapture/save2 ?   Or do I need to do anything else. Hey guys,    I know this has been asked before, however I do not fully understand some of the responses I've come across. So I know it's possible to create a custom button on Marketo forms. How is this done?I've come across examples trying to show how you do it at the form-level (editing form custom CSS), but then others say in passing comments that it's better to put it in the page template.    Now I know there's a million ways to accomplish this in Marketo. So what I'm looking for is a way for someone who is crap at coding to accomplish it. I have some styling code: letter-spacing: 0.1px; color: #fff; background-color: 84BD00; text-align: center; font: 600 1.125rem / 1.333 "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; padding: 0.5rem 1.5rem; border-radius: 5rem; So if I have this, how can I get my forms to reflect this?    Thanks!

I've been thinking it'd be nice to have some of the starter templates in the landing page library refreshed or reimagined and share those out as a resource in the community here. I'm wondering if there are any templates in particular that folks are using more or less than others that might be a good place(s) to start something like this. Hello,I'm trying to block field updates to the Original Source field, as you can see below:The idea is to let this field get populated once and then never get populated again. Ideally a sales rep will select a value for this in SFDC and it will sync to Marketo and get locked in.I looked at the options to block updates and find them confusing. I don't know which one to select.Should I just select all of them if I don't want this field to get updated down the road? If I block Salesforce Sync, will that mean I won't be able to update it the first and only time I want it updated? If the field is empty and I block it, will Marketo update it the first time and then stop updating after that?Thank you in advance.

Hello!   I have 2 streams in my engagement campaign with transition rules setup to move members from stream 1 to stream 2 after a welcome email has been delivered. Stream 1 only has one email and that is a welcome email whereas Stream 2 is the real meat of the nurture program. I needed to create two streams to send the welcome email on a different cast schedule of the rest of the emails in the campaign. This email campaign aligns with a 90 day demo program which is why the cast cadence is important. Below are my screenshots, does anyone have any idea as to why members aren't being moved from stream 1 to steam 2 and are just being flagged at exhausted? I understand Marketo is tagging them exhausted because they received the only email in stream one, but my transition rules should move them and make this a non-issue, correct?

We would like to capture and store the most recent page url (from which the lead filled out the form in a Marketo field).  Does anyone have the script for the same?

We're currently using GoToWebinar and the Marketo integration works well for single events.   We're about to launch bi-weekly webinars as a recurring webinar, which isn't supported by the native integration. I looked at bridging the gap with Zapier, but the GTW trigger action handles each webinar as an individual event.   I want to avoid having to create a new program or Zap for every instance of a webinar.   Any recommendations for a webinar platform that supports recurring events *and* will feed leads into Marketo via some form of integration that isn't shuttling CSV files.
