Auto-tagging is a term we are all somewhat familiar with, but Marketo Measure has its own auto-tagging functionality that is crucial for granular ROI reporting. I see Marketo Measure users skipping this step sometimes, so I’d like to explain why it’s important to ensure it’s enabled.    We’ll begin with a quick description of what it is… Marketo Measure's auto-tagging functionality automatically appends the ends of your ad URLs with the custom parameters needed by Marketo Measure. Note that Marketo Measure only offers this for the 4 platforms we have integrations with (Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn).    So, when an ad is created, Marketo Measure will append the appropriate custom parameters to the end of the URL behind whichever UTMs or tracking you have in place already. Hi, I have found the javascript provided on the Marketo Developer documentation about restricting free email(like gmail.com, yahoo.com etc.) upon form submission. However, when I inserted the script before the end of head card, and tested the form, it didn't work as it should. Has anyone found a variance between the Email Performance Report and the Landing Page Performance Report? I ran both reports in the same program, but on the Email Performance, it is showing 692 unique people visited our Landing Page URL, but on the Landing Page Performance, it is only showing 270 total views. Shouldn't those two numbers match?

Hi all,This is a basic question but I couldn't seem to find any information to clear it up.In Marketo RTP, it is possible to segment a user based on "Search Terms".Does this mean the term searched on a search engine before coming to the site, or a term searched for once already on the site? If it's the former, I'm not sure how this would be possible with Google Secure Search.Any input would be appreciated.Kind regards,Luis

I am trying to setup my Wistia+Marketo integration. I followed the steps in this article. https://wistia.com/support/integrations/marketo I created the API Only User Role, API-Only User, and created the Custom Service in Marketo. I am now in the Wistia settings and I inputted my Client Id and Client Secret. I am not sure where I put in my authorized user and token. It is asking for REST API Endpoint and REST API Identity. I am not sure what I enter in those fields. Thank you in advance for your help.  

Good afternoon all. I have a need to be able to apply a different underline colour to links in an email.  I've got it working just fine in all clients except (you guessed it) Outlook Desktop for windows.   I've tried two variants, one straightforward  <a href="https://www.nunya.biz.nz/" style="text-decoration: underline #00BDCE; color:#4F4F4F;">www.nunya.biz.nz</a>   and one where I put the display text in a span and style that <a href="https://www.nunya.biz.nz/" style="text-decoration: underline #00BDCE; color:#4F4F4F;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; text-decoration-color:#00BDCE;">www.nunya.biz.nz</span></a>   Both work across a range of clients, but neither works in Outlook desktop on Windows.   Any thoughts, or is this just not possible in Outlook?   Cheers Jo

I know there's been lots of discussion around Anonymous leads here in the Marketo Community, but I can't seem to easily find the answer to this question:   How many anonymous leads do I have in my database, for the simple purpose of reporting on what percentage of those have become known?

During an upgrade of smart campaigns to "Campaign Version 2" (CV2), the information logged in the activity log has changed. Before, you could easily trace what choice was executed based on the log details, but now the new "Choice Number" information doesn't appear to have any meaning.For example, if my flow step has five choices and a lead took the second choice, I used to be able to view the log for that step and see "Choice: 1" (numbering always started at 0). Now, it looks like this:Has anyone else found a way to decipher this?

Hi Marketo community,   We have set up an A/B test to test which call-to-action works best with our audience. One CTA is a click-to-call button. We're disabling the tracking for an email link so it works. But if we do this, will we not be able to see who clicks on an email later? I'm wondering if we won't be able to report anyone who clicks on an email and calls.

I found out this past week that the Marketo team, unbeknownst to me, started to end the page refresh and just show a 'thank you' message after form submission. Hello,   Fairly new to Marketo but brand new to engagement programs. I setup my first engagement program last week and it is set to cast a series of emails every two weeks on Thursdays at 10:30AM CST. This campaign is for customers that sign up for a 90 days demo for one of our products. The first email is a welcome email with the real nurture content coming in the weeks to follow.    My question is, is there a way for new members added to receive the first email on the Thursday of the week they are added or will they have to wait until the bi-weekly cast cadence kicks in? The very first cast was last week and I noticed the people I added this week were not sent the first email this morning (Thursday). I thought they might because in the dashboard summary, it said 'Today' for the next cast even though technically the bi-weekly cast would be next week.

Is there a way for a form field to show up based on another field in our Marketo instance? We want to have a checkbox on our forms, but we only want it to appear if it has not already been checked. I've been searching everywhere on how to do this but can't find anything. Is there any way that I can do this? Thanks!

Nuture Campaign   I'm wondering whether someone can let me know whether it's possible to set up a nuture campaign and add in a 'campaign/constraint (?)' that allows us to 'resend to non opens' on each email on the nuture campaign, before receiving the next email on the campaign?  Please can someone let me know if this is possible to do in the nuture campaign or whether I'll need to set up a few smart campaigns separately on the side?   Thanks 

We're currently creating a salesforce task for our sales team when they send a sales email (Smart list = 'Is Sent Sales Email').  We're including some basic information via tokens - email subject, email address, first name, last name, and company.     Is it possible to include the body of the email is this flow via a token or some other method?   I know this topic has been raised before but resurfacing in case anyone has found a work around lately.  TIA!

Hi can any one please let me know how to determine who imported the leads in database list. I tried audit trail but there I can see marketing activities actions. but these leads imported in Database.  

I use Marketo for marketing a number of events and need to find out what events representatives from a specific company have attended across all of the events for the past few years. Is there a way this can be reported on?
