Seeking some help using the Marketo connector in ADF v2 with a Marketo  I am unable to do any of the following: Connection with Marketo s successful in Linked Service but unable to load tables. Getting a list of tables when creating a new datasetManually typing in a table name such as "leads" and trying to get a preview of the data within the datasetUsing a custom SQL query in a Copy Activity and trying to get a preview of the data. For example, "select id from Leads"All the above actions result in the same error:ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Marketo] (20) Error while attempting to use REST API: Opportunity API disabled Unknown Error Code . I would like to autofill/autocomplete Company field with API. I found on this link useful tips: Reduce Form Abandonment with Google MAP API (I have tried this example and doesn't work for me). It's something that I would reach, but not with Google Map, it's about some else API with companies list. Challenge is that we will have this field on multiple schemes. I have already fetch data with URL query in own custom schema and done autocomplete with bootstrap etc, but we would like to get dynamically in Marketo. Is it webhooks or some JavaScript functionality in Marketo form 2.0? Tips, guidelines!?

I have a large number of forms on my website that are used to collect information from people who are looking to engage in specific programs.   They collect pretty general demographic information, however they do have some other fields that can in some cases have multiple values.  I.e. my vendor number for one partner is 1234, and my vendor number is 5678 for another.  Due to that, the fields will overwrite data overtime so pulling historical data on those forms fills could result in different information in that field than there was on the date of submission.   Since I have over 100 forms, building unique fields for each form would be extremely difficult to manage and result in a huge number of custom fields in our instance.   Reporting is also extremely cumbersome and was able to in the meanwhile develop some smart list subscriptions that allow you to just see the relevant fields to that particular form.   I need to decide on where to migrate these forms

We recently discovered an issue. When uploading a list of Contacts in SFDC with Data Import Wizard, or when Contacts are pulled into SFDC from ZoomInfo, Marketo then creates a duplicate Lead record.   How do we prevent this? I understand we likely should do all list uploads through Marketo, but how do we prevent this from happening when a Contact is pulled into SFDC from ZoomInfo?

I was wondering, if an email program settings are finalized / approved, will the smart list still be dynamic & auto-update before the email is sent out?     

Hello! I'm trying to set up a new email CC field based off an email field on a Salesforce object (Has Case). I know it's not possible by default, but was trying to think of a creative way to accomplish this and am coming up blank. If it's not possible then I can always set up an alert instead, but wanted to check with the community first in case there is a solution I'm not thinking of?   Thanks in advance!

Community, The other day we encountered a human error, in which an undesired subject line made its way into the A/B Test of an email program. The issue was quickly snuffed out, and we unapproved the program to prevent the winner from being sent, or so we thought. The winner send date on the program became greyed out and a new box to select winner send date appeared. This box was not touched and the program never approved.    Fast Forward 24 hours, the winner gets sent, with no indication in Marketo, the Program Icon stayed as if net new, no ticker symbol or mail symbol. On top of that we had sent the correct email just prior with the typical "was not sent prior email" filter to exclude the 20% that received the test.   Therefore we just emailed a good tenth of our database duplicative emails within a half hour of each other with differing subject lines. We have Activities Sync on for "Email Sent", which creates an email activity in Salesforce. This email activity record in Salesforce doesn't have the content of the email itself; it instead has the link to a Lightning email template, which further takes SFDC users to a Classic email template. Since our org already moved to Lightning and most of sales people don't have access to Classic email template, passing these "email sent" activities don't show users anything but the subject line of the email.    I also noticed that, since the link within the synced email sent activity takes us to the template, token and other personalization parts are not populated for each lead/contact. As we're trying to expand our use of dynamic content etc, this is a concern that our sales folks won't be able to get intel of what exact message a lead/contact has received.    Does anyone has any idea how we could pass the actual email content, not a template, into the SFDC email sent activi

Hi.   I'm trying to edit one of our email templates (see below) and it's not working.   The first thing I'd to do is remove the line around the email. And second,  I'd like to remove the gray background which seems to be a part of Marketo's email templates.    Any help you could provide would be most appreciated!

Why does Marketo take one of our links (https://www.ourwebsite.org/...), temporarily redirect it to an e.ourdomain.org/... address before resolving to our recognizable link (https://www.ourwebsite.org/...) with the Marketo tokens appended? I understand the tokens, but what I don't understand is the need to redirect in the first place.   Do the redirects expire after a year? I don't think they're supposed to, but some of our staff think they are.     

We have successfully synced a LinkedIn Lead Gen form to our Marketo instance. However, the Lead Source field appears to be overwritten. In the LinkedIn Form, there is a hidden field for Lead Source with value of "Social".  When the test lead was created in Marketo, the Lead Source was "LinkedIn Lead Gen".  This is not a picklist value in Salesforce and will cause issues downstream. Any ideas on how to force the "Social" Lead Source value? Hi,   I have been recently facing unwanted redundancies in a simple autoresponder program setup. When a new person is created and someone fills out a demo form an autoresponder email goes out and a task is supposed to be created. This program was working absolutely fine until recently.  We were using the auto-assignment rules i.e. "Assign to Sales Owner"  in the Task creation step. (Screenshot below) but getting this error. No unwanted changes have been made in SFDC or in Marketo. The same program setup has been running throughout the past year and no errors or exceptions have been caught until now. Can someone please tell me what is the root cause of this and how to fix this? I am finding no luck troubleshooting this.           Exception:-          

How do I capture "&percentile=50" into a field. looking to track how long they watched a video. It doesn't seem to be pulling any records when I say webpage contains "/video/6216450991001" and query string is "percentile=50". Unfortunately Marketo Support made it seem as if I couldn't set it up as described in the post. It was my intension to "listen" for a specific field (Opt-In) for a Known Person and based on the outcome it would trigger the visibility rules for the opt-in checkbox and language on the form. I'm in the process of migrating from Pardot to Marketo, and while 99.9% of Marketo is an improvement, there's a few things about Pardot that I liked. One such thing was that you could add someone to a Salesforce campaign without it triggering a sync—and if that person was inserted into Salesforce later, it would remember that campaign and add them to it at that point. I'm not planning on syncing SFDC campaigns to programs, and I won't be keeping SFDC and Marketo a 1:1 mirror, but I'd still like to retain that SFDC campaign membership once someone "graduates" to the CRM. Right now my smart campaign flows simply look to see if the person exists in SFDC, and if so, to add them to the campaign. But I'm wondering if anyone has a clever way of adding them to the campaign later on if they're not already in the CRM. My initial thought would be to add the campaign Id to a string field, then use automation in SFDC to parse the entries and add the person to the campaigns upon insert. Any oth

Hi there, apologies if I'm posting to the wrong section-- I haven't posted on here on a very long time!   I'm working with a Marketo landing page template-- and wanted to make some changes to add in a new section with a form option. However, I can't seem to get the form and text to align. I've tried to capture this with a screenshot which I've attached.   Any guidance or suggestions you can give me would be much appreciated!    

We have an existing Marketo instance with about 5 years worth of data and information. The Marketo instance has been syncing to Sage CRM but Riva, the software company providing the sync, has told us they will no longer be supporting Sage CRM. We are considering moving off of Sage CRM to Salesforce Professional edition. There are many good reasons to move to Salesforce but we need to do it economically.  I'm trying to work through the challenges and gotchas specifically around the data migration.   The current Sage CRM data is all Account/Contacts and the plan would be to move these Account/Contacts (along with Opportunities and all the other data) to Salesforce. However, since the people already exist in Marketo, if they get imported into Salesforce, when they sync to Marketo we'll have duplicates on them all. If we sync the existing people in Marketo up to Salesforce, they are all Leads - which then we will have to figure out how to convert to Account/Contacts. There a

We created a new custom object in Salesforce. After refreshing the schema in Marketo, we are able to see the custom SFDC object under Lead but not Contact.What should we do differently to make sure the custom object comes under Lead and Contact? In the current scenario, we fear losing custom object data when lead gets converted into a contact in Salesforce.
