Hi, I am trying to set-up a trigger if a pdf document on a web page (Coded Marketo page with embedded form) is downloaded, in order to receive a notification every time, someone clicks a pdf is a known user in Marketo. You can see in the image below, that Marketo has tracked the activity, but the smart campaign trigger didn't fire.The pdf is on the following page, but only visible if you are a known user. As I am using the Known Visitor HTML functionally, so people will get the link directly when a known visitor. This is the web page: Whitepaper - PXI Express System Thanks for your help. Jasmin 

Hello,   My colleagues and I have been experiencing issues with Marketo lately. When logged into an instance and performing changes, like updating an email template and previewing for example, Marketo comes with an error where you need to refresh the page, doing so you get kicked out of the instance and need to log in again. It seems to be happening right after the auto-save functionality when editing an email template for example. This happened without logging into any other instance today.Error screenshot:   I have ANOTHER issue when looking at Marketo community pages, after viewing a page, and clicking the next community page for example I get this Error, this has been going on for a few months and I'm getting tired of it Any suggestions here? Request Entity too large:   Let me know if this is a Marketo issue or a localized issue and if there are any solutions. Thank you! 

Hi All -    Sorry if this has been answered too many times, but terminology is getting to be a little tricky for me: specifically when it comes to "in past," "in past before" ...etc.   We have a filter that calculates a specific date for a given user. I'd like to send those folks an email *one day after that date*, and enter them into a sequence of emails.    For example: - Calculated Date Filter = 10/1/2020 - Date I'd like to enter them into the next sequence of emails: 10/2/2020   What would be the correct smart filter to put on "Calculated Date Filter"?   I've seen people suggest using a combination of ([Filter Date] "in past before = 2 days" and "in past 1 day") and some people suggesting just using "[Filter Date] in past = 1 day". Would either of these work? Neither of them? I obviously only want them to be able to enter this sequence once.    Thank you in advance!

We want the top item of the newsletter to relate to the person's interest, and then have the other items below. Can we use My Tokens to specify modular content for Topic 1, Topic 2, Topic 3, and then use Segmentation to allow us to put Topic 3 content at the top for people in Segmentation 3, but then have modular content for Topic 1 and Topic 2 listed below? Yes, but it will depend on how your email template's been created. Hello!   We want to be able to build a webhook that runs when someone clicks a link in an email. So anyone who clicked a certain link, their email address automatically gets sent to a google spreadsheet. Does anyone know how to build a webhook like this that can help?   Thanks, Bonnie

Did anybody have any issue with headline module not appearing as set up in Marketo. I've added a headline text that is bold in Marketo in header image and when I send a sample in Outlook it appears as normal not bold, the font weight in id headline text in Marketo is font weight 900 so it should be bold but in Outlook the headline text in header is just normal. Can that be fixed somehow?   Thanks!

Hello! We are experimenting with ungating top of the funnel content on our website. Bottom of the funnel content will remain gated.Does anyone know of any tracking software that plugs into Marketo for ungated content? Is there anything in the marketplace that can help us track leads for ungated content? Any suggestions or best practices?Thanks for you help,Chris

Testing out a particular inbox that seems to have some spam limitations on the volume of emails can get through for that one email domain/company. We have pared down the size of lists and want to do a staggered send to test the inbox - anyone have insight or advice on how much time via a wait step we could leave in between each send? 1 hour, 2 hours, more, etc?

Hi all,    I have an old stream in an engagement program. I'v got it paused & I've got the old mails in an archive folder. But I was wondering if it was possible to archive the stream...   I want to retain the stream's performance so I can use it in reporting, but the stream is dead & won't be reactivated. So I'd like to clean it out of the view. If you can't archive it per say, then what's the best practice here?   Any tips would be greatly appreciated.    -Troy

Hi, I'm setting up our domain name for landing pages and it doesn't seem like I can add ".io" in the url. For example: "go.domainname.io". Ideally, we want to match our current website as closely as possible so ".com" isn't the best option. Any ideas why this isn't working?

Hi - if I add a contact to Stream 1 of a nurture and there is no cadence set for stream 1- the contact should receive the email immediately right?

I've been asked to add a full width background video to a guided landing page template, and enable it to have a CTA button or headline floating over it. Something similar to https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_fullscreen_video.asp. I haven't found a way to accomplish this on a guided template. Does anyone have any experience doing this?

Hi All -    I have a Default Email Program (briefcase icon). In this Default Email Program, I have an Email Program (mailbox icon) that is dedicated to an A/B test for two emails to Audience 1.    In this same Default Email Program, I have a Smart Campaign that is sending a single email (NOT part of the A/B test), to Audience 2. In setting up the flow for this Smart Campaign, I need to "Change Program Status" to "Sent."   My question is: does that Change Program Status to Sent ONLY APPLY to the recipients of that single email to Audience 2? Or, does it also change the status of folks in the A/B test in the separate Email Program because it's technically part of the same program?    Thanks, Josh

I'm trying to update the content of a free-form landing page. The URL I'm using is  /rest/asset/v1/landingPage/{id}/content/{contentId}.json   ex: /rest/asset/v1/landingPage/1865/content/1912.json where 1865 is Landing page ID and 1912 is the content ID.   content type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded    and body consists of : type=Image&value=13590     I'm getting an error code 709 and message :  Operation is only allowed on draft landing page content   Can someone help me through

We want to send 7 / 30 day renewal reminder emails through Marketo and have built and successfully tested the emails using Velocity but I’m having trouble building the smart lists. (We thought this would be the easy part).   Our customers may have multiple products that expire on different days, as I see it from different discussions, there are 2 accepted methods of building a list for a renewal email. Using the 7 day example, they are as follows:   Method 1: (In future 7 days) and (in future after 6 days)   Method 2: In future 7 days but not in future 6 day list.   Method  1 fails when a customer has 2 (or more) products, one expires in 5 days and one expires in 9 days the customer makes the list even though they don’t have a product expiring on the 7th day.   Method 2 fails when a customer has a product expiring on the 7th day but also has another product expiring in the next 6 days. I've been monitoring our email bounces, and for one of our most recent email sends, we had a large number of bounces with the bounce reason:  554 5.4.7 [internal] (last transfail: 451 4.7.1 Received too many messages from a new or untrusted IP   We are on a dedicated IP and have been for over a year and a half, so our IP isn't new, and I haven't seen this code before on our other reports. Has anyone else seen this creep up on their end?   There were a few companies that appeared more than others, so my thought is that maybe they changed some of their internal settings, but I can't seem to understand why we saw a 300% increase in bounces.    Any insights are greatly appreciated.

Hello, we have embedded a Marketo form in a Contentful page. To save some space we have our form labels on the left but as a result the GDPR consent box is not showing up properly (see screenshot). Our web developer says that if it's possible to add a classname to the form he should be able to fix the issue. I've tried to find an answer on the community but I couldn't find any.  Can one of you help me here?   Thanks   Cécile  

I'm setting a program where a customer, upon filling out a form (that has selections to 6 contents - checkboxes), the customer will receive one email containing the contents selected. For example, the customer selected 3 out of 6 available contents on the form checkboxes > triggers a 'confirmation email' > the customer will receive one confirmation email that contains 3 different content URLs based on the form selection. Is this possible and if it is, how do I go about doing this? I've tried searching for solutions here and Google, found nothing so far. Hope this makes sense.

I have a smart campaign where it's set to send someone an email after they fill out a form, however the email won't deliver unless it's a business email. I looked and there are no form restrictions or anything saying that the email cannot send unless it's a business email. Any ideas as to why?

Hello, I recently took a new position with a fairly large company running their global Marketo instance. I was recently advised that (non-Marketo) web page load times in certain countries (China, Russia, India) was being impacted by Marketo.  Looking at the snippet being used, I was surprised to find the following. Of particular concern was the fact that the instance account ID was not referenced directly. This code is apparently deployed globally. I am at a loss to trouble shoot this myself.  Can anyone offer advice or resources for deciphering this? Again, it appears to be working, even in the impacted countries, it is just causing long load times...  Thanks! Hi all, Do you have any cool ideas for advanced alert campaigns (alerts for sales)? Something beyond "person visited pricing page" but more along the lines of targeted account visited 5 pages in 1 hour, a person in an advanced funnel stage (not won) visited X blog post pages.  I'm sure this is basically endless but I am interested in hearing some great ideas that you tried before and found to be helpful.   Thanks!

I have created a number of different views to use when looking at different leads.  For example a lead scoring view, an events view, etc, all of which have the relevant columns of required information we would like to see and potentially export.Ideally I want to share these with other users within our organisation to ensure that everyone is looking at the same thing.  Other than manually creating these views for each user, is there another way to share them?Thanks very much.

I am trying to set up a flow that will allow us to continuously add members to a list, but only have the new members receive the email I am sending. What I am trying to figure how to say is if John Doe received "X" email do send it to him again. I figured out how to set up a flow that would REMOVE the lead from the list after the email has been sent to them, but ideally the flow would just not send the email to anyone who has received it already.Thanks for the help in advance!John
