Hi, I'm having trouble with some "little" piece of code in this page: Consolidated Concepts Referral Program We're trying to establish a referral program and the only way I found out is to technically have two forms within the program, one to create a new record, and another one for the person who refers. I was able to add an additional form element into the code but I haven't been able to figure out how to make it a step for the second form to show up when the first form is completed. Could someone helped me master this code? Someone like @Sanford Whiteman​Thanks, Veronica

Hi thereI am currently building out an email campaign, and my list of qualified leads have duplicate emails in there. This is because for this particular audience we're marketing too, they may need to use the same generic email address (info@business.co.nz). However, we need to be able to send an email to each of the leads, even if the email is duplicated.Any ideas what I can do to set this campaign up to send to duplicate emails? Appreciate this goes against Marketo's core functionality but it's the only way to automate the process.Thanks,Katie

My goal is to have a mktoImg synax in the inline style. I have integrated UploadCare into my landing pages in Marketo but my marketo field is not populating with the link to file. I have followed this document: https://kb.uploadcare.com/article/251-is-there-integration-with-marketo-forms. I can go into the Uploadcare account to see file but that doesn't help me out. Does anyone see anything wrong with the above steps?

Hello Marketo Community,  My team is currently trying to statically deploy a nextjs app. We are using the Javascript Forms API with the standard loadForm method. On the current live site, this works perfectly:  Scroll to bottom of page to see formtechstars.com/ecosystem-development However, when we statically deploy to a staging environment, this same form will load twice, and the measures we've taken to remove styles also break. For security reasons, I cannot share this staging site URL.  I have followed the fix mentioned here, which is to use the formReady method to remove the id from the form element, so the inputs cannot be appended a second time. This works wonderfully locally, but when we export and deploy the static build, the duplicate render still happens.  I know this is a long shot, but it feels like this a react lifecycle and or nextjs related issue. Hoping someone has some insight because I'm all out of ideas.  Any hel

Hi everyoneSo we have more companies coming onto the same Marketo and Salesforce instance. Since the one Salesforce profile will hold all the information on a customer (single view of the customer and all that), we can't use Partitions - leads can exist in multiple places at the same time. So here is the question....If a customer unsubscribes from our emails via marking them as spam or in some other method, the unsubscribe field changes to True. This goes across our entire Marketo instance, as I understand, and works as a "hard block". So if we have multiple brands which are completely distinct, this is a problem. The field "Subscriptions Confirmed" for us holds their actual current subscriptions, but that doesn't help us if the Unsubscribed field carries across everything. If you unsubscribe from one brand, you unsubscribe from all our other brands too.I'm considering having a smart campaign that will works as follows....when a person has Unsubscribed change to be True, change it back

On our instance we use a custom subdomain for all our lading page like: p.example.com then all the landing pages live off that domain like: p.example.com/some-page.html.  Currently if a user goes to the root subdomain: p.example.com they get redirect to our main domain: example.com.  I think this is due to the MKTO settings where the Hompage is set to: example.com. My question is can I create a landing page within MKTO with a name of 'index' so its url would be p.example.com/index.html and then set the homepage to p.example.com and have it serve up the page created at index.html?

Why is it that when I create a smartlist to get the number of unsubscribes from an email using the "Unsubscribed from Email" filter, it doesn't match the number of unsubscribes on the Email Performance report?

I am working on reporting for our landing pages and find that the results are either a total number without unique views, or a limited amount of views based on people in the system who viewed, and not accounting for anonymous visitors. Any insights on best landing page reporting guidelines?

Hey,Was having an interesting challenge where I noticed the token I am leveraging for an .ics calendar invite auto-generates an underline.  I tried throwing in a text-decoration:none and realized that wasn't going to work. Hi there.  I'm mucking around with the video module in the starter templates.  When I embed a widescreen video from youtube, there are ugly black bars at top and bottom of the video thumbnail (i.e. letterboxing).Does any one know how to resolve, or does anyone have an alternate piece of module code that does the same job and fixes the issue?

Hello Marketo Nation!I'm new to the Success Path Analyzer - set it up for the first time in late January and am loving all the great data it's starting to provide. One question has surfaced - if a lead moves from one of our stages to another in a single day (i.e.: marketing lead to sales lead or SQL to opportunity) - will they be counted in the Conversion Rate and outflow for that stage? Or does a person have to be in each stage for a full day in order to be counted as part of that Revenue Stage?  Many thanks in advance! 

My team and I are Marketo developers and appear to see throttling occurring when the system sends an email to the same email address. Is this in the system by design or something that is caused externally? We are trying to do multiple tests and we get the first email, but we do not ever get the follow-up tests to the same email addresses. New email addresses work fine. Thank you in advance.

I am trying to run a Smart Campaign to filter out Campaigns of a specific Campaign Type.  Is there a way to do this?  I have been scratching my head trying to find a solution for this, either within the Smart List or even in the Flow with a Remove from Flow step or even an "Add Choice" from Request a Campaign" and I have been unsuccessful on all fronts.  Any ideas?

Hi there, I have a Post page in that i'm using 2 forms. One is for subscription and another one is for downloading the post.For downloading post form after submit i'm redirecting to thank you page with a download link on that thank you page.For subscription I just want to display a text message in that post page itself. Which is working fine in remaining posts which don't have any other marketo forms in that particular page.But when 2 forms are there in a single page download form is over writing the subscription form script  (means after showing thank you message it is also redirecting to thank you page ,which is not necessary). Can anyone help me in fixing that.Thanks in advance.

I am starting from the ground up with my organizations' Marketo nurture program(s) and I'm trying to determine how to track the frequency of sales emails, calls, and various direct touchpoints from my RSMs. Currently, we track statuses, open rates, CTOs, website activity, etc., mostly from Marketo sourced emails and we score based on various automatic scoring methods. I'm trying to track those sales conversations made NOT through Marketo and assign a lead score; example, direct messages, unique sales sequences, and/or calls. The main goal is to understand how often a prospect/lead is being interacted with (better tracking), how effective those direct sales interactions are, and how to assign a lead score.Any suggestions for methods or integrations? Thanks!

Hi all Trying to do something which should be pretty straightforward - struggling! I'm trying to take a 18 character ID and take the first 15 characters from the left.  I've looked up the string documentation and found $String.chop(), but using things like: #set($id = "001jdhvie9584nvjdk") #set($id = $id.chop(3)) ###or### #set($id = $String.chop($id, 3) $id Gives me simply $id as output. Trying logical methods such as "left" or .get(0,15) doesn't work either. What am I missing? Thanks!

Hi guys. I'm creating an html template in Marketo. For one of my modules there's quite a chunk of css styles that need to go in the <head> section. Is there a way to only show certain <style> blocks based on whether or not a certain module is being used in the template? The extra <style>'s do not need to be shown if I'm not using the module and there's quite a few lines of them so I don't really want them there if I'm not using the corresponding module, if that makes sense?

We are capturing a personalized cart abandon URL for a cart abandon email and passing it into a field in Marketo.My question is do I populate it into a URL field or a String field? Is one better than another for a specific reason? I know when populating a link via a token, in order to have the reporting register the token as a link, we need to leave the protocol (http:// or  https://) outside of the value in the token. Does capturing the URL in a URL field circumvent this? Do we need to leave off the protocol? Etc I'm just struggling with what the difference is between the URL field and a string and the doc isn't very clear on that.
