Hi! We've built a LP that has an ajax POST call to an external url. We are creating a landing page to consolidate our materials related to COVID-19.  We would like to put a data band at the top and have some updated stats. Is there anyway to automate external data like COVID cases, unemployment, etc so it's relatively up to date? I know it's kind of a long shot, but it would be super cool to have that. Thanks!  

I'm noticing that when a record is automatically merged by Marketo, if one of those records was actively running through the flow steps of a smart campaign, it stops running through the flow steps. Is this expected behavior?  Also, I'd love any advice on how to trigger a campaign based on a merge or on a field value that changes because of a merge. I'm not seeing how to do this. 

First, we use a custom double opt-out unsubscribe for our enewsletters. (We don't use the system unsubscribe.) I've built a custom HTML template with two dynamic blocks: at the top and in the footer.Prospects will see in the dynamic block 1, "Opt-in to get more timely tips like these." (segment built & associated for the non-subscribers) Subscribers will not see dynamic block 1 but will see the custom opt-out in dynamic block 2. (segment default is associated with subscribers)Prospects will not see the custom double opt-out in the footer.Problem: Both the default (subscribers) & segment (non-subscribers) show the unsubscribe info. Help.

I just cloned an email that I use every month; I just change the image and copy slightly. Today I cloned it to use again, but the template is practically blank. There is one element (the rep signature) at the bottom, but everything else is gone. I sent a sample of it to myself, and it looked fine, but it's impossible to edit when it's invisible! Anyone else run into this?

(I'm not sure I have the right board for posting - please guide me to a more appropriate place) Given the current environment, we are being asked how it would be possible to email out a blast that would increase our normal daily email volume by ~300% (for ~7 days). I'm extremely alarmed (as I'm sure anyone reading this would be) about accomplishing this without hurting our Sender Score and IP reputation, but I'm being pressed for creative solutions. I'm thinking either using a different IP address (Mail Chimp, or ?), or negotiating an extended timeline where we can very slowly increase our daily email volume to include more and more of the desired target audience. Any advice, creative solutions, or resources -  as quickly as possible would be incredibly helpful.

Hi, I'm wondering how I can create a smart list of people who viewed a specific page or group of pages (based on "URL contains:...") before they filled out their first form and were created in our system. As far as I can tell, I can add filters for "Viewed page" and "Person created" and select timelines for each, but if I do that, I'll capture people who viewed the page after being created. I want there to be a relationship between the two filters, where I'm only seeing people who were created after viewing the specific page. Can anyone help? 

We are leveraging a queue in Salesforce to auto-assign our website contact us forms. We have made adjustments to the queue in salesforce to add two sales reps to it, but they are not getting assigned any records. We have looked in Salesforce and everything looks like it is set up appropriately, so we assume there is something going on in Marketo. Any insights? Could there be a cache issue in Marketo? Thanks!

Hello,I created an email in Marketo and one of the images I am using is getting cutoff in Outlook. I know Outlook causes all sorts of problems but was wondering if there was a quick solution to this. Originally I had this image in a table and it worked fine but when using a table it does not render correctly for mobile as it extends out past the screen and widens the whole email.  I thought it would be better to just use a regular image. I'm working in my UAT instance, trying to get some synching of data.  I filled out a form and it was able to synch and populate SFDC but on subsequent form fills using the same email address I get an error of "the record is filtered in sfdc." I don't understand this error - can anyone help me identify the issue?

Marketo button with the MSI and MSE package is not supported by SFDC Lightning because they are javascript based. This means the buttons will not appear when using the Lighting UI in SFDC. Does anyone know of a workaround until Marketo addresses this issue? I know our users can change their UI back to the SFDC classic UI and use the buttons, but that's not the ideal situation. I have follwed the below step-by-step process in the Zapier app. But i have faced an issue.Twitter to Marketo - Integration:-> Trigger from Twitter - Search Mention in Twitter1. List - choosed a list in Marketo4. Lead - choosed the lead full name (found in the Trigger 5th step)5. Hello - a contact was forwarded a webcast invite email from someone we had emailed in our database.  The forwarded contact is currently not in our database, but would like to be added to future webcast emails.  Unfortunately, we do not have a preference center yet, so adding in the contact could potentially mean they may receive other emails as well (events, training/product updates, etc.).  Although we don't send out a huge amount of emails that are event/product related, can we legally add them to the database if they are only requesting webcast emails?

Hello Marketo users, I know Marketo has a feature of adding a CC field when sending an email. However, looks like it only works dynamically (using the tokens). I actually want to set up a static email as part of CC not a token. Does anyone know if that would be possible and how do to it? Thanks,Iulia

Has anyone successfully integrated their Marketo account with Lob direct mailing?I set up the webhook and built the letter I hope to send, but the Lob dashboard hasn't accepted the HTML letter. The error code says the Merge variables aren't designated, but they should be defined by the webhook, shouldn't they?I want the letter to automatically pull from the contact data we have in Marketo for use in the letter. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? 

I know engagement programs can get complicated but I've done a few of them in Marketo and have some active now, but this latest engagement program I built, I can't get it to actually cast the emails and I can't figure out why.Marketo support mentioned that contacts who are members of the nested programs won't get casts, but I don't have any members in my nested programs, so that's not the answer. Can anyone help? 

Hello there!I have a very simple drip campaign that I plan on running when a user signs up for a free trial. Basically 1 email a week over the course of the month. My question is, does anybody have any tips/best practices on how to build out a progressive scoring system using smart campaigns?  Essentially, I'd like to score users like this:email 1: open -1pt, click- 2ptsemail 2: open 2pts, click - 3ptsemail 3: open 3pts, click - 4ptsemail 4: open 4pts, click - 5pts.Any tips/best practices would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello all, I am using Marketo form in multiple places on my Wordpress website and I am unable to see UTM parameters passing through to Marketo when someone fills out a form. The form looks like this The auto-fill settings for those fields are set to take the parameters from the URL per other suggestions I have seen but I cannot see utm information passing through from Wordpress into Marketo.I am copying and pasting the form into a page builder (Elementor) and it renders well, and it seems to have all the other characteristics of the form, I'm not sure what I am missing to pass the utm parameters through. Thank you in advance!

Hi all,Does anyone have experience with "Digital Survey with overall results" integration with Marketo? Please see more info below: 1 - Send an email to the participant (using Marketo) to access the survey through our website (embed the form in our WordPress LP).2 - Survey tool opens - contact fills out a short questionnaire, including the personal data.
