Hello, It is painful and timely for project owners to investigate project tasks at the detailed level in order to remove projects from timesheets. People are so busy they just don't have the time. It just shouldn't be this complicated. Our organization would like the ability from the my timesheet view to remove a project or tasks, which would override the native rules in Workfront. The pinning feature helps keep the project task on the timesheet, but is ineffective to remove it. Regardless of the project task dates, we'd like to be able to remove the project task or entire project from the timesheet. Thanks! Emily
When a project is current and a team member assigned to a task and updates their time off calendar, project timelines get updated with no notifications sent to the project owner. Can you provide the possible solutions. Build in functionality to notify the project owner the the project time line has been updated. Indicated which task have been updated.Workfront Edit: This idea originally asked for 2 features. The other was a request to build a setting to stop the automatic rescheduling of work based on time off. That Idea is available here: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSNiAAO/detail
It would be great if timesheets would auto-save whenever you enter time directly on the timesheet.
Need a new notification rule: "Task I am assigned to becomes Ready to Start". It would be very helpful for my users to be notified when a task they are assigned to becomes "Ready to Start"; i.e. moves into the "Ready to Start" section in the "Work Requests" tab. My users often don't know when they can start a task, and then the task sneaks up on them because it is hiding from them in the work requests section.
Tasks that are marked as "canceled" or "100% complete" from the project should clear from "my work". I'd also like to see %complete in my work.
Convert an Issue/Request into Program or Portfolios
In standard project management methodologies, there is no project owner. There is a Project Sponsor & Project Manager. The Project Manager is really the owner of the project. Can you change the 'Project Owner' in all data fields including the project health panel - to Project Manager? I'm sure most project managers would agree!
For purposes of coverage, as well as on larger projects and corporate wide initiatives, to have co-(or more) project managers. We would like the ability to add multiple owners, either within the project owner field or as a separate field for additional owners. This could be structured similarly to assignments, where the first assignee is "primary" but others are recorded and have the same rights to the task.
Not tagging a person on a update and going back and relying to that comment a week later makes it look like the person has been tagged on both comments. It allow a person to come back and say"this person was tagged the whole time" The user should know exactly who was tagged on each individual comment. This will hold people accountable foe tagging the appropriate people at the time of the comment. Attached a snapshot from a ticket I opened. Was asked to put this into Idea Exchange but I think that 18.1 release and before worked differently then it does in 18.2
It would be nice to make updates that you choose to be private with other colleagues and that not everyone can see them until you choose for them to.
I want the document updates to roll up to the parent task / issue and the project. Currently you have to find the correct document to find a particular comment. You can't just look at the project as a whole to find comments made on a document.
The ability to report on the data currently captured in the update feed. For example, we have a need to track when a status was last updated to determine if a project status has gotten stale.
I would like the ability to route custom forms for approval within Workfront. Alternatively also have the option to Print to PDF, particularly when there are multiple custom forms at the project or task level. For example, I am in the process of converting our project charter template from Microsoft Word to a custom form in WF. The idea being, the PM could complete the project charter within WF, route the custom form to the project sponsor for approval and/or comment, all within WF instead of having to do it outside the system. With the Print PDF, you can do this, however, it will print all the custom forms on the project or task and you cannot select one custom form.
Right now, if a custom form is attached to a task, there is nothing that forces the user to fill out the custom form. The task may be completed, without the custom form from being updated. Even if the custom form has required fields. Only when someone edits the custom form, does it require you to fill in the required fields. We have examples of collecting information when we get to certain points in a project. This data is being collected via a custom form on a task. However, the system doesn't force the assigned to user to fill in the custom form. They can close the task without even looking at the custom form tab. As a workaround we have been attaching an approval process to the task, so the PM can verify the information was populated. However, it would be nice to not have to take this extra step.
Having the functionality to copy a custom field will be hugely beneficial to the users in charge of managing the forms and System Administrators. Currently if I, for example, have a dropdown with 100 choices, and want to have a second dropdown with 99 choices, I will have to manually recreate all those 99 choices.

Description - In the current offering of CJA, we do not have an ability to digest Content or Asset Insights in CJA as its natively only meant to be processed by AppMeasurementWhy is this feature important to you - As we move the WebSDK, the idea is to sunset existing Adobe Analytics and just use CJA moving forward. How would you like the feature to work - We would expect to have the same feature functionality that we do today to integrate Content and Asset Insights with AEM fueled by the Analytics PlatformCurrent Behaviour - Working As Designed.
We hadn't used Workstreams before October 2023, when it was removed. Now Workstreams is unavailable to use for us, since we didn't have it in use prior to October. According to Support there is no projected date for a re-release of the Workstream functionality. Our teams would like to use the Workstream functionality. Will there be a replacement or re-release of Workstreams or similar functionality?
Description -Add a new non-admin access level specifically for Data Warehouse that allows users to view all existing jobs, especially recurring ones. Why is this feature important to you -Our data engineers and current users need to access all recurring jobs as it is essential to their job function. Our organization has a high turnover rate. However, we don't want to grant admin access to all our data warehouse users. How would you like the feature to work -In the admin console, admins will have a new access option to assign to users: view all jobs in Data Warehouse.Current Behaviour -When the Data Warehouse UI updated a few months ago, our regular users were not able to access the existing jobs, including recurring jobs, as they had been able to do before. After promoting them to admin, they were then able to see all existing jobs.
We routinely have to do grouping when making our illustations in Adobe Illustrator. That can be over several thousand objects, grouped into bunches of only 50 or less. It would be much more resource-efficient to have a module that can do the grouping of connected or overlapping objekts on the whole page automatically.
When there is more than one user in the same workflow/delivery/object in ACS, either a lock should be added or a notification should be sent. Recently, we have encountered two issues where changes are not saved correctly in live campaigns due to overlapping resources. As a result, changes are not saved properly and the client program is experiencing errors.Below is the error that we get when the workflow/delivery has an error:PGS-220000 PostgreSQL error: ERROR: canceling statement due to user request Multiple users working simultaneously on the same workflow/delivery get aborted, resulting in the client's campaign being delayed, affecting their revenue.
Persistent “Open Proof” Button is great but can we add a second persistent button so that “Document Details” also appears. It would minimize the number of clicks and help track where a proof is along the workflow.
Description: Persistent row (aka job, report) and column filter Why is it important? The DWH export feature is being used for scheduled and ad hoc exports and therefore it's the home for a lot of entries, mixing up all kind of requested exports for all kind of purposes, this also requires "speaking" request names which are sometimes quite long; as there are too many columns, the request names are cropped - too many rows and too many columns requires to (de-)select unnecessary columns and row filters How should the feature work? the UI should remember the filter I selected and columns i (de-)selected Current behavior: If you (de)select particular columns or filters from the right sidebar, right after you added a new job or editing an existing one and get back to the list of all jobs/reports, all jobs/reports and columns are displayed again
Hi there, Our team was surprised to find that there was not a merge profiles function on the tool. This was a feature of Campaign Classic, however we found that there are many data issues as a result of not having that function. We have thousands of duplicate profiles on our org's instance of ACS. The unique identifier was not set as the email originally and now we have the issue of users unsubscribing and still being on the email communications because they have several profiles under the same email address in our system. I had heard rumors that this was going to be an addition to one of the updates, but I have yet to see any official statements on that function. I would think this is a basic need across all organizations. Please let me know if there is any development on this!Thanks,- Mike
It'd be great if there was a built in URL shortener in Adobe Campaign, specifically when using SMS. Since SMS only uses 160 characters, every character is important. It'd be great if there was configuration options as well, to determine level of tracking needed and how many characters would be needed.
