Hosted in partnership with Brain Haight of Adobe Professional Services, this session covered 3 main CSV import/export scenarios: importing tasks from CSV files, creating custom form field values for dropdowns, and exporting project data to CSV files. The first scenario showed how to import 20 tasks from a CSV file into a Workfront project, including mapping task names, project IDs, and job role assignments. This is the working file for Example #1: Task CSV. The second scenario focused on importing dropdown field values for custom forms, requiring the use of custom API calls since standard Workfront modules don't support parameter options directly. This is the working file for Example #2: Drop down CSV The third scenario demonstrated exporting project data to CSV format, including project names, IDs, owner information, and percent complete status. Slide deck, workshop recording, and Fusion scenario bundle: Slide Deck PDF Workshop Recording Fusion CSV
Notice of Deprecation of Forward to Friend functionality As of September 29, 2025, the Forward to a Friend feature in Marketo Engage 2.0 emails will be completely deprecated for all customers. This will affect the Forward to a Friend token and Forward to a Friend links in emails that have already been or will be sent using the token. Why is this deprecation happening? A security vulnerability was found with the Forward to a Friend email URL that could allow an attacker to forward an email they themselves had not received by using an mkt_tok value. While data is not exposed to the attacker or recipient, and recipients of forwarded emails are not subscribed to receive future emails, there is a brand risk and risk of email complaints to ESPs. In addition, this functionality has very low adoption among the Marketo Engage customer base and is not planned to be brought forward into the new Email Designer. How do I know if this deprecation affects me? If your
Hi, I am hoping someone has this working, and I think I am close. We have a typeahead field tied to the user object. When we type in the field, it will reference an existing name within Workfront. The field is used on a task. We are trying to use the typeahead field in a report filter to get data about tasks where the field is populated with the name, but filter off the home team of the name within the typeahead field. We have tried:fieldname:ID:homeTeamID=value of the idfieldname:ID:homeTeamID_Mod=in We have triedfieldname:homeTeamID=value of the idfieldname:homeTeamID_Mod=in None of those worked. Bonus points would be instead of the ID to use $$USER.homeTeamID
Hi Team, I am currently working on creating a CJA dashboard for B2B Buying Group level reporting and Opportunity Funnel analysis. I have set up the schemas with relationships and created the datasets(with 10 records) before establishing the connection in CJA, with optional containers enabled for Opportunity and Buying Group. The connection details are provided in the screenshots below.Unfortunately, the backfill processing for the profile dataset (person) has failed, and the backfill for the lookup and event datasets has been ongoing for more than 3 to 4 days. I have reviewed the audit logs related to the connection but couldn't identify the root cause.Has anyone implemented a similar use case and encountered these issues? Could the complexity of having numerous schema relationships in the dataset be contributing to this problem? Schema with fields Schema Relationship Sample data Connection details: Audit logs:

In the world of customer experience, delivering the right message at the right time is crucial. Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) empowers marketers to orchestrate highly personalized customer journeys, but understanding when and how a profile enters and exits a journey can make all the difference between success and missed opportunities. In this blog, we'll dive deep into the journey entry and exit criteria — what they are, why they matter, and best practices for configuring them effectively. Real-World Examples of Journey Entry and Exit 1. Welcome Campaign for New Subscribers Entry: Profiles enter the journey when they subscribe to a newsletter. Exit: Profiles exit once they have completed a welcome series of emails or after a set time if they do not engage. Benefit: Ensures new subscribers receive timely onboarding while avoiding repetitive messaging. 2. Abandoned Cart Recovery Entry: Customers enter the journey if they add items to a cart but do not complete checkout within 24 hou

Hello All! I am doing research to learn more about Business Rules within Workfront. I was hoping the community could share different use cases for Business Rules that your companies use. Thank you!
Hello I have a requirement to create API end points to access and do the following in Adobe Experience Cloud Assets,a. Browse assets in a paginated mannerb. Filter assets based on the metadata by applying 1 or more filters at the same time (including custom metadata)c. Search through the assetsd. Download assetsDoes the experience cloud assets have specific APIs to do the same? Or could we use assets API for this? I could not find anything from the documentation on how could I programmatically access experience cloud assets. Any directions or documentation would be much appreciated. Thanks
I am currently working on integrating RT-CDP audiences to be used in Adobe Target activities, but for the time being using at.js, instead of Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK. During that work I found the following question:Has anyone successfully used AEP edge profile with... - Adobe Experience League Community - 442184CC: @evidana and @jacobto1 I noticed that it was quite old and thus locked for commenting, so I wanted to create a post to share some of my findings. First off, I too was getting the "404" status of my test profiles in the Adobe Target trace. I managed to change this to "200", after I ensured to include the following parameters in our Adobe Target implementation:aepSandboxIdaepSandboxNameDocumentation: How Do I Use the targetGlobalSettings() Function? | Adobe Target The only way to fetch the Sandbox ID (in UUID format), is either to create a test audience in the relevant sandbox and activate it towards Adobe Target - once in
Good day Community! We are currently targeting your new module interface. But there are several updates or visualizations that have been changed. One of them is the “Render Using JavaScript”, I was looking for documentation on this new model but I think Adobe has not yet made an update to the documentation, does anyone know if there is an article that can explain this new functionality, I just think it may be the replacement or optimization of the VEC but I prefer to confirm the same.
AJO’s standard profile-driven personalization is not sufficient for managing common, frequently updated template components—such as internal compliance notices, member disclosures, or branded language—that are not part of the individual profile but must be inserted based on the context (internal/external), campaign type, or data source. This blog delivers a practical guide for institutions aiming to dynamically inject header/footer blocks into AJO email templates. Use Case: For the upcoming Community Health & Wellness Fair, UGH hospital needs to deliver targeted email communications through Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) for both internal staff and external community members at the same time. Internal employees require emails with dynamic header, footer, or informational blocks specific to their roles (such as booth assignments, volunteer sign-up links, and facilitation reminders), while external recipients (local residents, past patients, and partner organ

I see where you can configure the fields within the cards but we add a field to specify a type of request and when receiving a bunch it makes it difficult to organize them. If we could see they type on the main card vs. opening each one, it would be a huge help.
In the previous article, we examined the detrimental effects of marketing fatigue on customer experience and its subsequent impact on business objectives. Marketing fatigue occurs when customers are overwhelmed by excessive marketing messages, leading to disengagement, irritation, and ultimately, a negative perception of the brand. To address this issue, we explored the concept of frequency capping as a solution. Frequency capping involves setting limits on the number of times a particular marketing message is shown to an individual within a specific time frame. Furthermore, we discussed the implementation of frequency capping on a single device using Adobe Target's profile-scripts functionality. In today's ever-changing digital landscape, customers are increasingly connected across multiple devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and smartwatches. According a survey by Statista - the average number of devices per person in 2023 was 3.6. These
In June, Adobe Marketo Engage released a feature called Conditional Content for the new Email Designer. This feature provided an intuitive new way to personalize email blocks based on person/account attributes, offering more flexibility and control than the legacy email editor’s Dynamic Content feature. After the release, we discovered certain legacy tokens were not resolving correctly in the Email Designer. We have decided to temporarily disable the feature until we can resolve this issue. So, for now, you will no longer see the option to create new conditional content. If you have already created conditional content using this feature, the emails will still work as expected. All other email and related assets will also work as expected. If you clone or edit emails that contain conditional content, you might see certain scripts native to the legacy email editor in the preview, instead of the visual representation of the conditional content. This does not affect the email’s funct

Hello Workfront Community, I can’t believe it’s already June! Time has flown by since our last review, but I wanted to update you all on our H1 2025 Community Ideas review. As you may recall, this effort is part of our bi-annual ideas review process, which involves our product team as they review and respond to the top 20 ideas from the past 2 years. Please note that this 2-year period includes ideas from our last review cycle in November 2024. Ideas from our last review cycle are listed in the second chart below, labelled ‘H2 2024 Carryover Ideas.’ Many of you may have already been notified of these idea updates if you’ve interacted with them previously, but I wanted to consolidate all product responses into a single page. A couple things to keep in mind: All reviewed ideas below were published in the past 2 years. Ideas responded to in this cycle will be updated periodically by the PM Owner until they are moved to a 'final’ stage,
In my instance, we've added a number of Typeahead fields over the years that we've come to regret, mainly because they appear as top-level objects in Reporting tools and confuse everyone trying to build reporting. I can only explain why Project reports show two Portfolio and Program options with completely different options under them so many times. (Yes, I could re-name the fields but I wanted a better solution.) Finally I decided to experiment with replacing the Typeaheads with External Reference fields that looked the information up from Workfront's API instead. I've included a set of examples below for the objects I replaced, along with some gotchas I found along the way. Project Templates. This was the easiest one, since we have less than 100 active templates in our instance. Depending on what I wanted the drop-down to display, I could potentially filter further by the Group of the template, or any other template field. This returns a list of all Active Templ
