The current layout when when filling out custom form request could use a UI update. As seen in the attached image there is a lot of unused space when filling out a new request in Workfront. The new request page could easily be a floating page/modal that would allow users to still view the background information. This "Post an Idea" form actually models what I think would be a better layout for the "New Request" form. I took a screen shot of this floating modal as an example to compare to the current slide tab in "New Requests". If you like the idea please feel free to like and let's watch this grow!
The ability to use the wildcard reporting element in the Workload Balancer so that you can create a default filter that will display only the resources for the open project.
We had an event where a field used in a custom form that was being used for project log was modified resulted in loss of data within the field for 8300+ log items. This was a massive data loss for Logs from the past 3 years and is typically where work comes from for our site.Another Field was completely deleted resulting in the same issue. It would be very helpful to give a way to move data from the sandbox to the production system easily. Another way to help mitigate this is to put deleted fields into the recycling bin for possible restoration.
Its very difficult to understand if a rule is succeeding or failing based in Debugger Edge logs. It does not seem to chronologically display or display in association with starting, confirmation or return values. there are redundant things displayed and hard to find what you need. I think all that's needed is, grouped by Rule- Rule Name- Did it pass for fail- what data was available to the rule- what data was sent to a platform
For projects where there can be capital expense or operational expense, having the project manager set the hour type at the task level would ensure the time is being reported to the correct hour type. This would override the default time set in the timesheets.
For team requests, you can only assign to 1 user / team at a time.Would be great to have the option to add multiple users
Tasks summary tab only shows fields if viewed by users/s assigned to the taskTicket number for context: 00294540When viewing the summary of a task a user's layout template will apply if the user who is viewing the task is assigned the task. This defeats the purpose if only assignees can see the fields in the summary tab, as the Project owner / Project managers might want to see this too and not usually assigned to tasks.
Request: It is currently not possible to search teams and requests using the global search. Please include all searchable items in this list.
We have multiple templates attached to projects. Currently, you can attach as many templates as you like to a single Project but under Project Details it will only show the most recent one added. That area is static and not configurable to show all Templates attached. I also tried to create a View and a Report to show all Templates that exists on a Project which did not work. This again will only show the most recent one.
Currently, any planner can run a report to see role/user costs. They can also calculate this backwards by dividing total cost by actual hours to find someone's pay. We'd like this ability to be hidden from certain planners, perhaps in layout templates or access levels.
Instead of users sharing docs out of their own OneDrive, Workfront should be able to use a service account user that puts all docs of a project(s) in one central location, or better yet, use MS Teams. Both are just frontends for SharePoint, so this should not be difficult. By using a service account for a single OneDrive, or using MS Teams, all docs will be located together, you don't have to deal with uses that leave the team (or the company) and re-assign perms in SharePoint, and you have a better document history for new team members to train/ramp up.
I would like to share with my colleagues, internally, the evolution of the data in Marketo in an automatic way. To do this I have created several reports in Revenue Explorer that I have grouped together in a single Dashboard. The problem is that there is no way to share this data in an automated way. I would need to export the dashboard as a PDF and/or share it automatically like the Revenue Explorer reports. Can you develop this? Thanks in advance, Thibault
A massive improvement to Marketo's field management capabilities would be create your own folders for better field management. HubSpot, a competitor, already does this. Being able to create your own folders for managing fields would improve admin's ability to keep track of what fields already exist as well as their use case. A good example of this would be for email compliance related fields, or a preference center, where it's important to keep track of all the fields you use, and why you use them. A similar ideas was published a few years ago - https://nation.marketo.com/t5/ideas/ability-to-group-custom-marketo-fields-in-various-folders/idc-p/260407
For ease of operations, I'd like to be able to (or automatically) have deleted (and inactive) SFDC campaigns not available to be synced to Marketo programs. Viewing deleted SFDC campaigns makes it harder to find the current ones I'm looking for without creating errors when syncing to my Marketo programs.
It seems surprising to me that this isn't already something Workfront is capable of, however after talking with support, it doesn't seem currently possible. The idea is that if two separate companies (actual companies, not companies within your WF instance) both utilize Workfront and have their employees setup in it, to be able to allow users from one company to have access as users in the other companies instance. As a real world example, if we as company A have a contract to get work done with company B, where people at company B would be responsible for certain tasks in our project workflow, it seems logical that if company B already uses WF for their own internal needs and users have accounts, that we would be able to add certain users from company B into our instance of WF at company A since they are already licensed/etc. Since this seems to not be possible, we at company A need to pay for licenses (or have company B pay of them) in order for those employees at company B t
Linking approvals in the proofing tool to a task. If you approve a proof, then your task associated with that approval with automatically close that task out instead of manually closing it out. We do not have Fusion.
When a task has been prematurely marked Complete, we would like the ability to set the Task status back to New--without the need to unassign and re-assign the resources. Currently, if the task status is set to New, the task will not show up on the Work List of the resources because the system shows they marked the task complete. I confirmed with tech support there is no work around for this behavior.
Would like the ability to turn off the option for requesters to copy their Issues, similar to the new ability to prevent users from copying projects. With the new ability to copy Requests coming in the 22.1 release, we don't want users to get confused and copy an Issue in the request queue vs copy a Request. Once submitted, many issues have additional custom forms added at later stages and we don't want anything outside of the original request to be inadvertently copied.
We need a mechanism to change the Timesheet Owner directly in Workfront. This update should transfer all hours associated with projects and general to the new userID.
It would be great if Marketo could consider allowing adding different fonts into the drop-down options with flexible modules? At the moment you can change the code to a specific font, and then when you pull through the module the font should be available, however, it would be much more user-friendly to allow this in the dropdown. Also marketers could then select to use different fonts to use within the module if needed. eg for a wsgswgy module you could set a different font as a heading, and then another for the paragraph copy. In addition, there are some standard fonts, such as Open Sans, which would be good to include generally.
Problem: When running mboxtrace the output show us if we qualify into or do not qualify into a segment by segment id like this:"evaluatedCampaignTargets": [ { "campaignId": 123456, "campaignName": "My Activity", "matchedSegmentIds": [ 1234567 ],Feature: There should be a place in Target where a customer can translate the Segment ID to the Friendly Name.
Today, when a Marketo customer uses a native CRM-based sync, Support has the option to map multiple fields together. This goes above and beyond the detection of Lead and Contact fields being linked in Salesforce. For example, if a Lead field and Account field share similar values, a mapping can be made to support both the Lead and Account version of the field as one field. However, when using the default Marketo objects for a custom sync—Person and Company—there is no way to execute the same concept. As a result, any customer using a fully custom sync must then pull both the Person version of a field and the Company version of a field. CRM-synced customers do not have to do this. Can the ability to map between Marketo's own objects (or at least between Person and Company) be implemented?
Provide an ability to customize the project header section in the layouts. (e.g. remove or show the 5 items on the top right of the project; 'Percent Complete' 'Project Owner' 'Planned Completion Date' 'Condition' 'Status'.)
We have that space in the middle of the Project screen header beside the Project Owner area and status box. We'd like to have the ability of adding fields in there or even after the Project owner area - just like ability to add fields in the my work area.
It would be really helpful to be able to run a report on a project's "Shared With" column. We need to ensure specific users ALWAYS have at least view access. It would be great if we can also report on what level of access the user, team or group has as well (view, contribute manage).
