Hi All, I recently noticed that on embedded reports in the left panel, users are able to enter new issues on these reports. Is there a way to remove this capability?
Is there some place in the 'Proofing HQ' settings that allow you to have the "Allow subscribing to proof via public URL or embed code" box automatically checked? I couldn't find this setting anywhere. Thank you!
I've noticed that when I add a to‑do task—whether via the Home widget or within my personal to‑do list project—Workfront automatically sets the planned hours to 8 hours per day over the task’s duration. As a result, these tasks appear as fully allocated in the Workload Balancer, even when the actual work required is minimal. While you can adjust a task’s duration from days to hours (which updates the calculated planned hours accordingly and uses the start and due dates to display the task duration in the Workload Balancer), this adjustment can only be made by navigating to your personal tasks project or setting up a personal tasks report—not directly from the widget. We’re currently using a naming convention that includes task planned hours so that PMs can see the actual allocation at a glance, but it isn’t an ideal solution.Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Is there a way to override the default settings so that to‑do tasks can reflect more realistic workload estimates? Any wo
I tried to find a more recent question answer but most of what I found was pretty old, so asking again. Currently the proof owner and our project manger that kicks of task approval proofing process (on loaded proofs) are both getting a notification for every single comment made on every single proof resulting in tons of unwanted notifications. Ideally, they don't need these and would prefer not to receive them. I've tried many things but most of what I'm finding only relates to email notifications. I've gone into proofing and both are only set to "decisions" - still I feel like that is an email. How do I manage WF notifications regarding proof comments. Thanks!
We use the Writer add-on extension, which provides suggestions on our platform fields. The extension is not visible on Workfront fields - is this something that gets deactivated in Workfront plafform? Hey Community! Looking for a little help. I have a new user request form where I "clone an existing user" type-ahead field, allowing the user to select an existing Worfkront user to clone to create the new user. I would like to automatically pull into a calculated field on the same form the access level of the cloned user identified in the type-ahead field. Any thoughts on how this can be accomplished? TIA! Jen
Description - The filters you create in the Workload Balancer do not become available in other areas where the workload balancer is embedded. If you create a filter in a Project's Workload Balancer, it's not available in a Teams Workload Balancer of the Resource Management page's Workload Balancer. Instead you have to create everything from scratch in each area that you are interacting with the Workload Balancer. Why is this feature important to you - Cuts down on the amount of rework needed for creating and sharing filters. How would you like the feature to work - If you are creating a filter for the Workload Balancer that filter should be accessible on any of the pages that the Workload Balancer is embedded on. Current Behaviour - If you create a filter for the Workload Balancer in the Resource Management page, that filter is not automatically available for use when you pull up the Workload Balancer in a Team page or a Project page. If you want
Description - Similar to this old idea, it would be helpful to configure approvals based on a few more options. Why is this feature important to you - We're always looking for ways to reduce the number of clicks a user has to make. In our case, we have an intake process that is purely approval-based. Without approval logic, my decision-maker must also close the request after approving. How would you like the feature to work - Allow logic to define what happens upon approval (ex. upon approval, close this issue). Also prompt the decision-maker to provide comments and have those comments appear in the object's Updates. Current Behaviour - For an issue approval, we can only define what happens when the issue is New and then when rejected.
HiCan anyone Let me know how to solve this issue.while working on AEM Publish Instance, facing the issue in all the pages going competely blank.! Can anyone please help me out in this issue please.? #AEM
Hi there, I am using Adobe Analytics Source Connector to import data into Adobe Experience Platform data lake. Nevertheless, I am seeing some device data fields not populating with data - even though these fields contain data in Adobe Analytics: Device typeDevice modelDevice manufacturerThis also happens with "Browser name" variable. Is this behaviour expected? Is there any method to import this data from Adobe Analytics? This is very important to us for maintaining historical data. Thanks!
Description - Assigning approval flows to be used by certain groups is helpful for group admins. It also allows easier auditing of approval flows by who is using them. However, when we have separate request queues that are owned by different groups, they need unique approval flows. Several of our request queues send approvals to the same type of person. Why is this feature important to you - I have to create copies of approval flows for child groups. Then, when approvers change, I have to update multiple approval flows. Yes, I could workaround this with a Team, but when there is just one approver, a Team is extraneous. How would you like the feature to work - When an approval flow is set to be used by a certain group, any child groups should inherit the ability to use the approval. Current Behaviour - Currently only specific groups can use their approval flows.
Hello everyone,I'm currently dealing with the renewal of our Workfront contract and wanted to gather opinions on the new licensing model. It seems like a revenue-driven move, and the lack of advance notice going into the financial year isn't giving off a positive vibe. It appears that all Planners and Workers will need to upgrade to the Standard license, which costs similar to what Planners currently do. Reviewers, previously free, now have to upgrade to Light, as the Contributor license is limited to making no more than 5 decisions a month (which I find quite perplexing). The removal of basic functionality from the Light license, such as completing assigned tasks and generating proofs, means Workers have to be unnecessarily upgraded to Standard.Has anyone gone through this process already and have any suggestions? Thanks,Marta
How you manage different environments for Prod and Dev for personalization development? You create separate properties for Prod and Dev? Then how you map specific property with given at.js? Or in Target you just use test links?
Hi Team,I’m encountering an issue with the formatting features (bold, italics, and underline) not functioning correctly in Adobe Workfront. We tried several approaches: Used <b> and <strong> tags, but they aren't rendering as bold. Used the "Text with formatting" field, selected the desired line, and clicked the Bold icon — but that also didn't work.Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a known issue that has already been reported?Could someone please clarify if there’s an expected timeline for when a fix or update will be released?Thank you for your assistance!Best regards,Pagidala GuruKrishna.
I'm trying to figure out which module works best for removing the custom form attached to a Task. I don't necessarily what to delete the task so I know it's not the Delete Record Module. But when I go to the Update Module, it doesn't really show a way for me to remove the Category ID. Gives me the ability to update the form or ID but not a way to delete it. Is there a function that works for this?
The My Approvals widget only shows proofs that the user is an approver on. I have users that are reviewers in lots of proofs and they would like to see a list of which ones are still open so they can go in and check on them and follow up with the approver if necessary. All the proofing options I've seen are centered around the approver. Is there anyway to create a report that shows all the reports someone is in regardless of their role in the proof?
Description -Why is this feature important to you - Allowing users to change individual line colors in graphs is essential for clear data visualization. This feature enhances the distinction between multiple datasets, making it easier to identify trends and patterns at a glance. Additionally, for a large business with multiple Lines of Businesses, customizable colors, enable better alignment with branding guidelines, creating visually consistent and professional reports. How would you like the feature to work - Being able to say lock "Value X" to blue, and "Value Y" to red across all visualizations (regardless of which one has the highest count), or just being able to make specific visualizations look better and to match our different brands' colors by adjusting their colours specifically would be a fundamental feature.Current Behaviour - You cannot change individual visualizations. What one can do is change the colour palette for the entire project.
Hi Marketo Community,We’re building an email template in the new Email Editor 3.0 and need to support light/dark mode based on the user’s device preference. While we know this can be achieved with CSS media queries (e.g., @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark)),we’re unable to find a way to:Inject Custom CSS into the entire template or specific modules.Edit the HTML Head to add global styles (unlike in Legacy Editor).Override Default Styling for dark mode (e.g., dark backgrounds, inverted text/images).Example Use Case:Light Mode: White background + dark text.Dark Mode: Black background + light textChallenges:The new editor restricts direct HTML/CSS access for modules.Dynamic content rules don’t seem to support device-level preferences.Questions:Is there a workaround to add custom CSS in Email 3.0 (e.g., via Template SDK, hidden modules)? How are others handling dark mode compatibility in the new editor? Are there planned featu
It seems like it should be straightforward, but I can't seem to find the right combination of modules to do this. I have several different projects with updates (comments) containing specific keywords that I'd like to delete. Any suggestions to do this? I'm a sys admin, so access level shouldn't be an issue.
We are on AEM 6.5 and using acs commons package - 5.4.0. We are able to OOTB features of CCVAR i.e. page_properties inherited_page_properties But we want to use custom properties with custom prefix(Read a configuration/component and get values from it instead of using page properties). Tried to extend the properties as per (https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/contextual-content-variables/index.html) but could not. Has anyone tried implementing ContentVariableProvider and was able to add custom properties?
Description: The update to the Custom Form Field Logic in version 25.4 introduced some frustrating issues. Clicking 'Add Logic' opens a full-screen view unnecessarily. The primary concern, however, is that the Field Name is no longer displayed—it only shows the front-end Label. Why this feature matters to you: When working with multiple fields, being able to see the Field Name serves as a valuable point of reference, especially when using numbered references for better organization.Desired functionality: The feature should operate in a smaller view screen while ensuring the Field Name is displayed alongside the front-end Label.Current behavior: The logic editor opens in full screen and does not display the Field Name.Example:
We are on a Quarterly product release schedule and in the upcoming "24.7" Release, Adobe has stated that they will be replacing the legacy form builder with the new "Form Designer". In the legacy form builder, for each field, we have ability to enable the option "Track field changes in update feeds". This option was removed from the new Form Designer and now the only way to set this option is from the Interface tab under Setup. (Setup > Interface > Update Feeds > Tracked Fields > Custom Fields). I submitted a ticket to Support, and received the following suggestion: If you would like to see this checkbox to track these fields be retained within the Custom Forms area as it was in legacy, please submit this as a feature request via our Workfront community on our Experience League site. So here I am, requesting that this ability be retained in the new Form Designer tool. Please!
My AEM Assets instance is integrated with Dynamic Media. Currently I use the dynamic media URLs of every asset and use it to author in a non-Adobe application. If I use Micro frontend asset selector, can I choose the dynamic media URL (https://scene7.com/is/image/projectname/abc) instead of the repository path "/content/dam/abc.png"?Is this applicable for videos as well?
Hi @16227148, What is the difference between 'Adaptables' and 'Adapters' in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sling Models? I would appreciate any insights on the distinctions between these two concepts and how they are applied in the context of Sling Models in AEM. Specifically, how do Adaptables and Adapters function differently, and how do they affect the design and implementation of Sling Models?@Model(adaptables = { Resource.class, SlingHttpServletRequest.class }, adapters = ComponentExporter.class)
Is there a way to expose project level field on a request form? Sample scenario is that we have key dates that users need to submit project requests which changes every quarter and we want to expose this on an intake request for them for their review. I put together a sample request queue project which had a field added to capture a date on a custom form. I then built out a request queue form for a user which had a calculated field to display the project field value. This stays as N/A until the form is submitted and then appears populated once i reopen it, not before. Any way to expose this before submittal?
