Hi Marketo,We have a number of users who do very unique functions to support our Marketo efforts. It's been really troublesome to obtain Marketo Support when the # of authorized contacts are limited to 4 users. Any consideration to increase the number? Or better yet, allow all users to be authorized contact? Thanks for your consideration. It would help us users be more productive. Caryl Kao
I would like to be able to see my Program Channels or tags in the standard Marketo Analytics reports displayed as a column/value per program in the report results.
We create email in multiple languages, currenly we need to create multiple emails for each language. If there was the ability to the following dynamic: Subect Line From Address Reply to address The above functionality could reduce the number of emails we need to create and the number of email sends we have to do.I'm sure there are other examples where this dynamic functionality would be useful, however this is one that affects us most. Thanks,Emma
It would be nice if we could subscribe to community posts without having to make a comment.Occassionally there is a topic of interest and we'd like to see how the thread matures or resolves but don't always have value added content to add to the discussion.I don't think it serves the community well for us to add a junk post just to get the subscription. It would also be nice to see current subscriptions at a glance and mass unsub or reset.
I'd like to able to archive a program on its own, without needing to convert the entire containing folder (which might contain many other programs that I don't want to archive) to an archive folder.
This seems like a pretty big issue and I'm sure I'm not the first to bring this up.There needs to be a much better gate between SFDC and Marketo to block non wanted leads into the system. There isnt a real way to use SFDC profiles to pivot off lead/contact fields to stop leads from flowing into Marketo..Marketo doesnt really provide anything to block them from coming in that I've been shown. All you can do is synch and prey your not over your contact limit (I'm over mine by 570,000 atm).In Eloqua you are allowed to use SFDC native SOQL to block the contacts/leads from coming in. Somethign that should be extremly simply and practical for Marketo to implement as they keep saying they have a FULL SFDC integration yet lack basics like this.I propose the dire need for a SOQL setup, or some type of integration to block leads/contacts coming in based off field values. Using SOQL or even a standard GUI type setup should easily be able to do this.Make this happen Marketo and your customers will
Hi,I'm currently looking at my landing page report in the Analytics Section. I'm looking for a specific landing page but I don't know when it was created and I don't remember its exact name. Would be cool if I could search "contain=xxx".Cécile @ Talend
Hi All,One of the custom fields I use in SFDC is "Conversion Page" which is set (on my site's form) by the page title in a hidden field on submission of a form. What I'm trying to do is emmulate this setup in Marketo. So what I'm wondering is this: Has anyone used a dynamic value from URL or cookie to grab the page title? Example URL:https://info.companyname.com/white-paper-name/download.html The conversion page would be "White paper name"Why does this matter? I'm trying to use a single thank you page that uses the token for the conversion page. Now this setup works fine in our auto-responder emails, as I can set the conversion page in the flow. However when using that method - the thank you page does not have the abillity to pick up this value. Further - I'd like to be able to use this same form on our website with the abillity to grab the conversion page all the same. Any suggestions? Questions? Much appreciated,Kyle
I'm sure this has been mentioned a number of times, but it'd be really nice if the same functionality was adopted by landing page template design as email template design when class="mktEditable" is added to an element. The reason being that I want to maintain the same format, positioning, etc across all landing pages. I know this is possible my noting dimensions, applying the same style in the rich text editor for each landing page, etc, but the solution used by the email template design (mktEditable) is MUCH more elegant.PLEASE! Let's implement something like this! It's a great feature of email templates and something that's dearly missing from landing page template designs.
To include pre-header text (for email preview optimization), Marketo really needs a token for "View as a Web Page". (This also alleviates the eyesore of the unformatted "View in your browser" link that is separate from the tempalte...) Right now, the Forward to a Friend token creates almost the same link as the View in Web Page (used in the header when the check box is selected). Forward to a Friend: http://success.parata.com/index.php/email/emailWebview?ftf=true&mkt_tok= View as a Web Page: http://success.parata.com/index.php/email/emailWebview?&mkt_tok= It should be very easy for Marketo to set up a token called {{system.emailWebView}} This token would just do the same exact thing as Forward to a Friend, except that it excluded the "ftf=true" from the output URL. Please vote for this - it would save a ton of time! Sean
It would be nice if there was a Marketo Audit template or document. I think this should probably be done atleast annually. I imagine some people are not using status's in programs correctly among other things. If we had a simple checklist to go through, that would help.
If you're introducing a variation of an email to do A/B testing on, you have to add it as a random sample choice in the send campaign. Since this is part of a traffic cop nurturing campaign, you then have to go into appropriate smart lists and add the email there as well to ensure people haven't already received this email. Then if you have internal alert campaigns where if someone received this email, do this, you have to add it to that smart list as well. The list goes on. Not sure if this is doable, but it would be nice to be able to select an email, and pull up an inventory of campaigns and underlying smart lists where you could select all of the smart lists that you wanted that one email added to.
If someone sends you a link to a specific campaign or smartlist or anything really, it'd be nice if when you click the link and are brought to that particular asset, the tree hierarchy on the left side would automatically be set to that asset as well (w/ the appropriate folder or campaign exposed).
Twitter announced today new Lead Generation Cards. Any plans for Marketo to integrate with Twitter?
I recommend Marketo create a way to easily see how the various lists that were selected for an email performed. Ideally, in the email tab of the marketing activities folder one could go a level deeper and see how each of the lists that were included in the email contributed to the roll-up of the results. So if 3 Smart Lists or 3 SFDC campaigns made up the Smart List parameters for the email or campaign, it would show all the KPIs for each list and the total of the three would be the total for the email or campaign. Right now I have not found a way to get this information.
The new community bookmark feature is great...but currently feels more "UI snazzy" than usefull. I like that I can bookmark knowldege or community articles, but what I'd like is to see a full list of my bookmarks when I click on "My Profile"
It would be nice to be able to bring in custom SFDC fields into Marketo Program Reports in RCE. It would allow you to get more granular on your reporting if you have specific fields that you write values to on the lead record.
We need to be able to pull a report to determine what our top 20 performing assets are that we have included either as email attachments or linked to on landing pages (all within marketo). This does not currently exist. Vote it up!
I wish there was a place held all synced campaigns. I want to see a list of all my SFDC campaigns and what they are attached to (Smart Campaigns).Even if this was just a special view that admin got, it would be great. Ex: Today I was going in MKTO to sync a smart campaign to a SFDC campaign that was previously created. However, the SFDC campaign already had leads attached in it! I had to keep searching in the members' activity logs in order to find the campaign in MKTO they were wrongly synced from. It'd be nice to just have a list.
I'm sending out an alert email to the Sales Reps when someone clicks a certain link in an email and when they get the alert email, they want the SFDC ID to be a hyperlink so they go directly into SFDC and find the lead.My manager doesn't believe that this isn't already available. I called Support and we tried something but it didn't work.
Hi. is there a way to sync fields on the Marketo only in case they are empty, so that I don't overide existing values? So that if for example i use "syncMultipleLeads", and update a field with a value - nothing happens but if the field is empty, it will store the value. Thanks
It would be cool if we could connect a lead's social profile to their contact record within Marketo. We are a standalone instance, at least currently, so cannot connect lead social profiles to their records.
The what's new tab requires me to "proactively" check for upgrades (which I don't do). Consider sending user an email notifiying them of the upgrade to Insight or Lead Managment with a link to the app exchange.
Hi, I am using an integration which sends request to my application with webhhok and syncs the result using SOAP API.Different Marketo users can use it so i need to know when calling the soap api to which user to send the data in soap api.I need to know the encryption key, user id and end point. What is the best way to do this?Should i send these parameters in the webhook Payload Template or does any one have an idea of a better way to do this? Also, is there a way to extract these parameters dynamically using the the token feature? Thanks,
