I realise that if at any time I want to make sure a prospect doesn't get an email for a week or two I can always change their cadence to paused. But some of my users aren't that comfortable with campaigns. They will only understand that I've got a list of emails & the higher up the more likely it is to be sent. However if they want the lead to take week 5 off, then they won't know how to accomplish that. What would be really great for them is something they could pull onto the engagement stream that would visually represent an email. No email, or skipped round, this would allow a little more randomness to be inserted into the rigidity of cadences.
I've subscribed to get the email subscription report on a weekly basis. As of now, I just see the stats per email such as sent, delivered, clicked, unsubscribed etc. It would be helpful if I could see how the results for this week compared to last week (some sort of trending analysis, green/yellow/red gradient of some sort etc). Right now, I just see the numbers and they don't add value until I do some more comparison and analysis.
We are about to send out an email campain created in Marketo's Email Designer and are running into an issue on chome where the mailto link (with tracking code) wont fire. It will only load a blank page. Looks like there is a bug in the javascript on that redirect. I've tested the mailto link with out tracking and it works fine on all browsers. Its only when the tracking code is enabled that we run into this issue.
Hi Team,There seems to be a new bug on the admin page.If I try to click that "login settings", "field management", "munchkin", "soap api", "events partners", "tag" or "reasure chest" links on the main page of the admin section it does not work.I can still access these via the side bar though!-Nora
I'd like a link on the community that goes back into my Marketo.Usually I end up closing out of my Marketo tabs but I'm still signed in in the community and when I want to get back into Marketo I have to leave the community page I'm on to sign back in and then reopen the community.
We've created a closed-loop support feedback tool native within Marketo/Salesforce. Contacts complete a survey by filling out a form that updates their record in Marketo.Since the data needs to be written to custom objects in Salesforce, we can't use Marketo to sync the information so we're using Dataloader.io to feed the information into Salesforce.Dataloader.io has connections to Box and Dropbox and also has the ability to schedule cronjobs from those respective locations. It'd be nice if Marketo had a Box API with which it could use to dump daily reports so that we could bypass the manual process of exporting a smartlist and jamming that into Salesforce via a dataloader.
Today's Marketo instances aren't managed by a single admin user. In an ideal situation there are different users with different permission levels each managing their own operations inside Marketo. While this situation is fantastic as far as distribution of labour and ensuring that you can get the most out of the system goes, it makes the role of the Marketo administrator infinitely more complicated. It'd be great to be able to see usage information such as which users have been active and what they have been doing.Particularly when working with a large organization, the ability to monitor users activities would provide a phenomenal boost to the admin's ability to provide oversight and simply to ensure that users are utilizing the tools provided to them as intended. In addition, it would help the admin know where they need to reach out and how they can help, and having that visibility into users activities would really help in those cases where you receive late night phonecalls saying &quo
It would be great to show the device and location information for email opens and clicks. On the macro level, many marketers see the trend toward mobile and want to invest in responsive design, but they find it difficult to justify the business expense without data showing their audience is viewing information on mobile devices. On the micro level, this information is quite useful: did that prospect view my email on their iPhone at home and never respond? Did that email get viewed on four different devices in ten minutes? Quick salespeople would, for example, be able to call a prospect's mobile phone when the email is viewed on that device and get a higher response rate.(original discussion: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PdsgAAC)
Segmenting content in emails is great - but it would be even greater if the subject lines could change along with content - for instance we do a lot of white paper emails - and if we could customize the subject lines by the prospects' industry, that could be an easy win.
I've been doing Marketo courses over the past few days and one thing that bothers me is that Marketo doesn't keep track of where you are in the training and if you close the page after a chapter it will make you start all over again. It would be great if Marketo could keep track of where you are in the test by chapters instead of having to start all over again.
I do a lot of custom reporting against our DB, and one of the things I find frustrating is creating and managing custom views.Couple of quick suggestions:1. Add a "save as" feature to custom views, so if I have one really great view and need to tweak it to create a similar related view (e.g. leads vs. "contacts"), I can do that without having to remember what fields I've included in the view.2. Add in the ability to reorder fields/columns in the view create/edit menu so I don't have to continually sweep across my views and drag and drop columns to reorder - that's a huge pain.I would think these would be fairly easy - the sort of features that seem to be common in DB tools these days.Food for thought. Many thanksSteve
When you queue up multiple tasks, it would be nice if we could click a button to expand the view and see all the tasks that are currently queued. Then, you could maybe drag and drop items so if afterwards you add another task and decide that it should take priority, you can do so without needing to re-run any other tasks that may have been put in before it.As a user who has a lead database of 30,000+ leads and frequently needs to perform bulk changes to the data through Marketo, this feature would come in handy!
We have a smart list as part of our nurture campaign. Under a different program, I uploaded new contacts that should've been caught by that smart list triggers, but they were not. I went in and added a new filter to the smart list which then picked up all of the contacts, including the new ones. However, that is cumbersome. In the status window, the smart list shows the time that the list was last run, but the only way to force it to run again is to change the filters. It would be helpful to have a button that says "Refresh" so that it goes and looks for all leads that meet the criteria established in the smart list. Thanks!
Web hooks are great and have expanded integration scenarios but I would love to see the ability to specify authorization schemes to the webhook. For example, the ability make a webhook call that call the Marketo SOAP API (properly generating/passing the authentication header)
It would be great if a link to past releases notes is added in the New Release page as well as a new sub menu added to the left nav under NEW RELEASE called Past Releases.Current Marketo Rlease Notes Link: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KyrdThanks,Carlyn
Please put in a request for a report that is similar to the email performance report (which contains subject line), but is for other lead source types. For example, white papers by title. Our white papers are in a drop down box so they complete only one form. They do however go to unique URLs.
Our site currently funnels visitors to a general contact page from several pages. We want to know which page referred our leads to the contact page, so we can create and serve specific email content for those leads. My hunch is to use the lead source feild on our form and add URL tracking parameters to our links, but it would be much better if we didn't have to create messy URLs and could pull this information onto our forms dynamically with the munchkin code.
Everything is in the title.I would like to have my linkedin contacts in Marketo, and email them.
These things in the new UI i don't understand why Marketo choice to do more double Clicks and drag and drops. Here is a irritation Example when creating a new Local Asset in a Program that you want to create in a folder you have in teh program. Create a Program Any Create 2-3 Folder that will keep it easier for you to look on your Local Asset. Here comes the Tricky Part. Create a new Local Accest by left clicking on the folder you want the Asset in (Look Fig. 1) Not i need to Choice a Campaign folder, but not able to choice a subfolder inside my program. First Question here why do I need to Choice the same Program i just right clicked on? (Fig.2.) Now i need to Drag and Drop the element in the program to the right folder. Step 4 and 5 is steps that I will see as skipped. Since the user already is the right place. #Fig1 New local asset inside campaign folder#fig2. There a Even more issue with the new UI when cloning assets. I press clone on a Landing page i create I nee
I'd like to be able to view all of my assets in Design Studio in thumbnail view. I'd love if this was an option. This is especially handy for images as there are so many and different versions etc that it would be nice to view them all at once (or sorted) to see which you need.
I'd like to see the personalization tested when sending a test of the email. Have the system grab a name or any item that will be used to personalize the email and add that to the test so that you can see if the personalization is working properly.
Hi All,Does anyone know how accurate the "Inferred Company" field is for anonymous lead activity? Any input would be very helpful. Thanks!Anthony
Does Marketo allow you to put forms on exterioir pages? We need a subscriber form on our blog, so if someone subscribes to our newletter we can add them to our lead database. Does anyone know if this is possible.
It woudl be great if there was a link to recommned to a friend. For example on the "Thank you for registering" page place a "recommend to a friend or colleague" link similar to the forward to a friend link <a href="{{system.forwardToFriendLink}}">The forward could send the registraiton page or we could set up a seperate recommend to a friend page. A short message field in the forwarded email would also be good.
I want to clone an email in an engagement program....please vote up
