I have experienced many unanswered questions or questions that have not been solved when asked in the community, and I know I am not the only one. I think it would be great if Marketo Reps could answer a lot of unsolved questions/problems in the community so we don't have to submit as many support tickets. I do see employees or partners responding once in a while but it would be great if it was on a regular basis. I know this would take a lot of time but I do think it will help improve the overall experience in the community!
I'm new here, so I may be missing this but it would be absolutely fantastic to have something as simple as a "Subscribed" link under Discussions so I can revisit things without having to wait for an update on it.It would essentially be a bookmarking functionality.
I'm new to Marketo, but as I've been attempting to read up on various subkects I'm encountering some dead pages. For instance, a search for "subscription management" turned up an item labelled "Marketo Lead Management Fundamentals Training", but when I click through the page fails to load:https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KyuTCASIf there's a means for cleaning up / removing some of these artilcles, assuming the content has been retired, that would be helpful.
I've noticed some performance issues with my javascript code. After some profiling and investigations I discovered that the Munchkin javascript code hangs for a long time (200+ ms) on every call to Munchkin.munchkinFunction(). This is because the Munchkin code sends a SYNCHRONOUS XMLHttpRequest, as you can see in the following snippet taken from http://munchkin.marketo.net/147/munchkin.js. a=new XMLHttpRequest;a.open("GET",b,!1); Moreover, many calls to 'Munchkin.munchkinFunction' are done in inside UI event handlers, for example a click on a button. Even when a timeout is provided, the sync call still needs at least 200ms to complete. These are 200ms in which the UI hangs. Even such small hangs lead to leggy CSS transitions, interrupt to implement a responsive UI, and hurt the overall user experience. Instead of forcing all the requests to be synchronous, a better solution in my opinion will be to add a flag to the 'Munchkin.munchkinFunction' function that allows to choos
https://community.marketo.com/MarketoResource?id=kA650000000GttLCASthat article talks about having to use Javascript to pre-check a form checkbox. that is no longer the case, right? You need to do some cleaning.
It would be so amazing to see be able the number of leads that are in each program/step of a stream. There are so many reasons this would be useful:See how many people are getting close to exhausted contentSee how many people were added in various periods of the streamSee how many people jumped to another stream. Thanks for considering it!
I never had a problem with the rule lines in the UI until the latest release. Now the rule line that separates the Choice label from the Choice fields makes me lose track of which Choice I am changing. Either lose the lines or move the rule line above the Choice label, not below it. See examples belowNot Confusing: :0) Confusing: :0(
Similar to how you can see what any given smart campaign, landing page, email, etc. is being used by, I would like to be able to see, for any active trigger with the "Campaign is Requested" step in its smart list, what campaigns are actually requesting it. This would make troubleshooting this kind of trigger campaign much easier in many cases, I would think. Thanks!
It would be great to have a way to find all forms that are currently used and active in Marketo like the way Campaign Inspector find Smart Campaigns in Marketo.
Hello everyoneWe implemented the forms 2,0 embedded code everywhere on our new website. It is a great way to seemlesly add Marketo to any CMS. We made our own WordPress shortcode for this.We also use Google Analytics, like probably everybody else here. Besides the standard page tracking, we make heavy use of event tracking to measuser other actions like opening a modal windows, watching a video, hearing an audio file, etc. Some other plugings we use like Sharethis have added Google event tracking to their script so you can see how many times someone used it to post on twitter, facebook, etc.So I thought it will be great if the Marketo embedded code includes call to the google event tracking so we can report on:- How many times sthe form was filled with errors.- Which fields generate the most errors- How many times a form was tarted vs the submit button was clicked.Who else with me?
It seems like all the major Marketing Automation clients have this feture. It's important to see what your email will look like in all the browsers / Email Clients / Screens This would be a great future to add to the Marketo powerhouse.
I would like to create email groups that would prevent sending out double information in engagement programs. These groups could contain of two or more emails, and if any of the email had previously been sent, it would skip any email in the group in an engagement program. That way you could create one form email and one nurture email for the same content. For example: I have 5 different gated content pieces about Category Z products. The flow would look something like this: 1a. Fills out form "Product C, Category Z" 1b. Send "Product C Form Email" 1c. Add to Nurture program "Category Z" 2. Send "Product A, nurture mail" 3. Send "Product B, nurture mail" 4a. Fills out form "Product E, Category Z" 4b. Send "Product E, form Email" 4c. Skip adding to nurture program Category Z 5a. Skip "Product C, nurture mail" (as we've already sent the form email from the group) 5b. Send &q
Hi, I would like to create a Dashboard to monitor daily email performance for the emails delivered from Marketo. Is it possible to create the Custom Dashboard as per the below example? Example1: For Program A within folder X 1. Total Unique messages 2. Total members in program 3. Total Emails Sent 4. OPen Rate 5. Click Rate For Program B within folder X 1. Total Unique messages 2. Total members in program 3. Total Emails Sent 4. Open Rate 5. Click Rate So, here the details of each program in the same folder ---------------------------------------- Example 2: For the Single program created within the folder X and need email performance of multiple streams in the program. Stream A 1. Total Unique messages 2. Total members in program 3. Total Emails Sent 4. OPen Rate 5. Click Rate Stream B 1. Total Unique messages 2. Total members in program 3. Total Emails Sent 4. OPen Rate 5. Click Rate Is it possible to create the dashboard as the above exampl
The launch of engagement programs has positively changed the way we generate content and capture data. The functionality is absolutely needed in marketing automation. With that being said, it would be extremely helpful (we believe absolutely necessary) to do A/B testing within an engagement program. As of now, it is nearly impossible and has caused less than favorable test results. We have tried every idea, which Marketo support and the community has provided, yet, unfortunately, we have not found a viable and/or simple way to do A/B testing within an engagement program. We would like to know if others are having similar issues and if you want this implemented, then we hope you like it. Thank you so much for your support!
In RTP assets tab, RTP considers abc.com/assets/pdf/example.pdf and abc.com/assets/pdf/example.pdf?action=download as different assets, although they are really the same asset. Can this be a enhancement feature where these are considered as the same asset?
I belive we should be able to do A/B testing on email blast program. Why will they be called "email" blast if we can't do A/B testing.
It'd be great if we could change the order of the choices for Conditional Advanced Thank You Pages on Forms 2.0. Right now, we have to input the choices in the exact hierarchy that we want. If we later decide to add in another choice, we have to redo the hierarchy.
While editing an email when adding an image to a rich text box why is it not possible to browse for the image you are looking for. It seems like wasted time and extra steps to have open the design studio, navigate to the image, copy the image URL and then reopen the email for editing to paste the URL in.
It would be nice to be able to set the workspace-wide default favicon for the account from the adminstrator's tab. Instead of having to add a favicon to each page, this feature would make it easy to roll out a default favicon across the entire account.
It would be nice if someone could update the MCE Roadmap doc as it seems to be out of date. Several of the links to articles under the Topic Study Areas section no longer click through. And for some of the links that do work, they seem to be pointing to articles which are not direcly related to the topic the roadmap purported they would link to.
I want to be able to have a pop-up message appear after someone subscribes to my newsletter.Signing up to a newsletter doesn't warrant a redirect to a landing page to say "thanks for subscribing" a simple message displayed where the user entered their email address is all I want. [Without having to customise and build workarounds]
The gmail plugin is an incredible tool...that half our team can use and half can't because it isn't able to operate in an multiple login gmail environment. I think this would be a useful update since increasingly, that where Gmail users are heading.Especially the ones sophisticated enough to want sales insights in Gmail!
I was on Twitter today and noticed Eloqua has this awesome capability to add forms to Twitter. Very user friendly! It would be awesome to get this functionality. Here's what the page looked like on Twitter:
At the moment when you create a report in the marketing activities field, it takes a snapshot of the current stats - eg Email Performance and Email Link Performance. You need to delete the report and re-create it to get a updated report.Any chance this can be upgraded to update when you click on the report itself?
A basic Analytics report listing all the lists in "My Lists" would allow us to do some list hygiene and delete older lists. It would be even cooler to see stats like email clicks, form fillouts, opportunities created, etc. per list.
