A common (and serious) defect in lead scoring campaigns is when bots (not people) automatically click every link in an email. Whether it be for security, spam filters, etc., this happens frequently and makes lead scoring a moot point when people are getting credit for several link clicks they, in fact, did not make. Why couldn't marketo engineer something that recognizes when multiple links are opened within a second of each other? When this is recognized, cancel out the score change, interesting moment, and any metric triggered. It's pretty much impossible for a human to open 4 links in one second. And even if some freak does do this, we'd rather have this one outlier not counted instead of hundreds of leads with grossly inflated lead scores due to bots. This is just one idea on how, but really any fix to cancel out bot-generated activity is what we need.
It would be great if there was a way to archive old programs and portfolios that we are not currently using/doing business with. It would really help keep our system clean and accurate. We have so many old programs that it becomes messy. For example, we have "2015 incremental", "2015 retainer", "2015 investments", etc under one single portfolio. We no longer use the 2015 programs since we are in 2017 now. We still want to be able to see the history of these programs and clients and projects, just want a way to archive them or deactivate them. Would also be nice to have the ability to reactivate them if we need to use them again. Similar to how you can deactivate and reactivate an employee. Would be nice for Admin users to have the ability to "clean up" and audit our information in Workfront.
I would like to propose an enhancement to the API functionality for Smart Campaigns.Currently, while scheduling a Smart Campaign for "Run Once" or "Run Later" execution is supported via the API (as described in the documentation below), there does not appear to be a way to retrieve the scheduled execution date once it has been set:https://developer.adobe.com/marketo-apis/api/mapi/#operation/scheduleCampaignUsingPOSTHaving the ability to programmatically fetch the scheduled date would greatly enhance the usability of the API, allowing users to better monitor and manage campaign schedules, especially in automated workflows.I believe this feature would add significant value for users who rely on the API for streamlined campaign management.Thank you for considering this idea! I’m looking forward to any feedback or updates regarding this feature.
Description - Allow Resource Managers to update the Time Off Calendar for any team member in their group. Why is this feature important to you - Need to block user's calendars for upcoming work. Ideally it should be for a specific project, but sometimes the timing of the project task and when the time needs to be block don't always coincide. How would you like the feature to work - Resource Manager should have access to any member in their assigned group (even if not the reporting manager) to edit their Time Off Calendar.Current Behaviour - Currently, only reporting managers are allowed to edit the team member Time Off Calendar. We are currently using the Time Off Calendar to block the user's calendar, then removing it afterward so it doesn't reflect as time out.
We try to use the Updates section in Workfront in place of email. However, WF lacks functionality in two areas: text input & attachments. Text: there is no strikethrough ability (among others). This is good to have when discussing bodies of text to edit.Attachments: WF allows for picture file attachment, which is very handy. However, it doesn’t allow for Word file attachment. Yes, there are other places to load up files, but switching over to other pages & copying/pasting links is slower, and it adds up over time. Please consider adding these, as it's difficult enough to steer people away from email and into WF.
Workfront is very difficult to use for general planning if there are many job roles set up. This is always the case in large organisations. Finding the right job role is time consuming when the list is long. Most project managers start their project management activities using a role based plan as they do not know the actual team members. I would like to see the following: Ability to choose the list of role types that apply to the project - this may hence only be 10 - 15 roles.Project 'switch' to allow roles to be selected just from the project role list and not the overall company role list. When resource assignments are made the role types will then just be the small subset selected. Allow the user to select from this list rather than having to start typing the role name. This needs introducing asap as most users of Workfront in my company find the current approach very awkward tio use.
Description -With the ability to now toggle the sections of a custom form open or closed, we would like a button or something that allows us to change all sections to open without multiple clicks. We have a form with many sections and it would be easy to miss if someone collapsed a section. It would be nice to have the ability to open all at once. Current Behaviour - Currently can collapse each section separately, but no way to open them by one click.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Enable log collection from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in Dynatrace as part of the monitoring integration Use-case: We have successfully integrated Dynatrace with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for performance and application monitoring. However, the current integration does not support log collection from AEM servers. Having the ability to collect and analyze logs directly within Dynatrace would significantly enhance our monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. Current/Experienced Behavior: Dynatrace is integrated with AEM for monitoring, but logs from AEM servers are not being collected, as this feature is not supported. We previously created a support ticket about this, and we were advised that currently, there is no solution for log collection through Dynatrace in AEM Improved/Expected Behavior: We expect Dynatrace to support log collection from AEM servers, in addition to the existing monitoring features. This would al
When going to 'Profiles', please investigate an option of having the most recently modified profiles show in this view, for easy verifying of your data. Where today you'd need to search for a recently modified record
Enable as part of either the customizable table or the descriptions in the right menu the option of seeing the creator of a certain schema or dataset. A lot of cooks are sometimes in the kitchen, would be nice being able to backtrack this in the UI.
Couple of administrative ideas to enhance reporting prompts1. Add ability to use custom field labels instead of just the name or have an option to provide a custom prompt name for the report. Why? This would provide a much better user experience for fields where the label needed to be adjusted but the field name could not be changed (e.g. fusion integration). Additionally, this could support potentially better help text specifically when dealing with text search fields. 2. Ability to sort the prompts instead of deleting and reselecting the fields. Why? Administratively this would be more efficient with changes in reports and prompting that inevitably occurs.
Description - Excluding External Users from @ Commenting Feature Drop Down Why is this feature important to you - Commenting in WF is for internal users only. External users should not receive updates from Internal users in Workfront. We would like to remove the option to select them when using the @ comment feature. We do not want our clients to receive internal information. How would you like the feature to work - When using the @ comment feature in Commenting/Updates, we would like for only internal users to be included in the address book/drop down when you start typing their name. Current Behaviour - Right now when using the @ comment feature, if you start typing a users name, the address book includes both internal and external users. This leaves room for sending an update to external/clients by mistake. Which could cause clients to receive internal information that they should not be receiving.
Please add a notification option for Tasks / Issues I own, just like Projects I Own.The below options are helpful for a PM, but they fall short when it comes to request management. The commit date changes for a task on one of my projectsThe commit date changes for an issue on one of my projectsRequesters should have direct visibility to new proposed commit dates. Right now these updates are routed to the Project Owner which is often irrelevant for Request Queues. People requesting the work should be notified (or have the option to be notified) when someone proposes a new commit date. Right now our users have to manually create an update, type something and select the new commit date. It's a waste of time vs just updating the commit date.
There should be a way to track changes that are made on tasks in a task report. It would be even better if you can make them specific. For example, track how many times the due date was moved, check how many times the tasks were reassigned, etc.
Description - Did you know that Requesters cannot "Add Image" in an Update? I didn't, until a requester asked me why that was missing for them! Why?? Why is this feature important to you - Consistency of user experience, and there is no reason that a Requester should not be able to use this same functionality with UpdatesHow would you like the feature to work - Same as it works for every other access levelCurrent Behaviour - Requesters cannot use the "Add Image" when making an Update
Description - Ability to use cascading dropdowns on reportsWhy is this feature important to you - This would allow users to edit dropdown menus with display logic from a report without having to click into each individual project/issue. Users can edit other fields from a report. If there is a large number of projects/issues that users have to edit with dropdown fields with display logic behind them, it is time consuming to click into each project/issue to make edits on the custom form. How would you like the feature to work - Functionality would be similar to display logic on a custom form. A user would select value the dropdown in Column 1 & the second values would display in Column 2 based on selections from Column 1.Current Behaviour - Users have to edit within custom forms.
The Assignment Object is a great opportunity to provide valuable reporting insight to managers, supervisors, even team members to provide a holistic view of everything that is assigned to individuals, team members, etc. However, there are some short comings: There is no Point-and-Click way to Group Assignments by Project Name. The only way to Group Assignments together for a resource by Project Name is to resort to Text mode code. Project info should be available in the Group tab to easily allow the report to be grouped by Out-of-Box and Custom Project fields. There is not way to Sort Dates within the report if you are displaying Issue and Task Data within the same report since they are coming from 2 different objects. I'd really like to see the Assignment object expanded so that ANY fields that are common between the Issue and the Task object are available for reporting from the Assignment object, as a single field so that sorting could be done by Dates or even common custom fi
Description - We would like the number of replies on a proof to be displayed with the number of comments when receiving proof notifications. Our proof owners have too many open proofs to set the email alerts to Hourly or All Activity, so the Decisions option is what 99% of our users are set to. The idea is that the proof owner could see anybody who has commented OR replied to a comment in the email notification without having to go back into the proof or system. Why is this feature important to you - This would give proof owners a quick view into who has and has not commented or replied on the proof. How would you like the feature to work - When the email alerts are set to Decisions, the email notification would display the number of replies next to the number of comments as it does in system within the proofing workflow.Current Behaviour - The email notifications only show decisions and parent comments.
Description - Allowing filtering a dashboard of reports by presenting prompt or filter at the dashboard level, that could apply to all of the reports on that dashboard. Why is this feature important to you - It would eliminate the redundancy of selecting same prompt/filter criteria for teach individual report and then running every single report based on that same criteria, specially when number of reports on a dashboard are more than a couple. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to have the option to allow certain fields that apply to all reports on a dashboard to show either as prompt options or filters to appear on top of a dashboard and when I select the criteria the prompt or filter apply to all of the reports on the dashboard. Current Behaviour - prompt/filter can only be applied to individual reports on a dashboard.
Description -The quality of the proof downloaded, viewing comments is severely compromised and the proof is incredibly blurry, so much so that it can be very difficult to make out the text within a PDF/document. It's also very time consuming because we need to download the marked up proof and it is delivered as an email. This can take several minutes to arrive. The solution of downloading a high-res proof is compromised because it takes even longer to download and takes up memory. We want to download a marked up PDF, which opens in Adobe Acrobat. Why is this feature important to you -We want this because we have users who don't sit on the system so we need the ability to share these marked up proofs offline. How would you like the feature to work -We want to be able to allow users the proofing tool but when you download it, it downloads as a PDF with marked up comments. Leverage Adobe Acrobat to be able to view and work on higher quality proofs.
Would love to have the Project > Overview or Issue > Overview forms customizable, but also at a minimum making the Portfolio and Program tags clickable, just like the resolved by or original issue links.Today we can select the Portfolio and Program from a drow down field, but they are not clickable. This would allow all involved in the project to directly click (within 2+ clicks) from the project to the program to see all other related projects to that program. This would be a time saver and increase user adoption across our channel/program managers. The way our company uses Portfolios and Programs is:Portfolios - each fiscal year we create a new Portfolio, i.e. 2025 Workfront Projects - all of our teams utilizing projects (Social, Design, Publishing, Marketo, etc.) their projects automatically tag to this Portfolio based on the template settings.Programs - each project manager based on BAU assets, campaigns, launches, proprietary events, etc. will create a specific program related
Description - Azure Secret Key for the Workfront Fusion Email account expires annually, requiring manual updates for all affected connections and associated email modules. The existing "Re-authorize" or "Re-verify" options do not support updating the secret key. That leaves no option except the creation of a new connection each time, which results in a high administrative burden. Why is this feature important to you - Operational Efficiency: Manually recreating connections and updating all email modules in Workfront Fusion is time-consuming and disrupts workflows.Error Prevention: The manual process increases the likelihood of errors, such as missed updates, which could lead to failed automation tasks. How would you like the feature to work - Provide an option to update the Azure Secret Key in the existing connection settings.Include a validation process to verify the new key before applying it. Current Behaviour - Currently, the Azure Secret
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Implement an intelligent content recommendation engine to leverage AI and machine learning to suggest relevant content for each page, driving increased engagement and business outcomes. Use-case: Marketers need a way to deliver the most relevant and engaging content to users based on their behavior, interests, and the current context. By providing AI-powered content recommendations, AEM Sites can help surface the most impactful content to drive conversions and achieve business goals. Current/Experienced Behavior: Currently, marketers must manually curate and select content for each page, which can be time-consuming and may not always align with user preferences. There is no automated way to surface top-performing content or make recommendations based on user behavior and business rules. Improved/Expected Behavior: With the intelligent content recommendation engine, AEM Sites would analyze user interactions, content p
Description - Search functionality in WF Proof doesn't match what's used in Acrobat. Main issue we noticed is the straight apostrophe entered by keyboard won't find word with a curly apostrophe, which is most common, but they can both be sporadic since InCopy and InDesign don't make it easy to keep them consistent. Why is this feature important to you - Since we use both Proof and PDFs at times depending on the process, having the same search functionality is important for consistency. How would you like the feature to work - Apostrophes or quotes will search all instances, both straight and curly/smary apostrophes quotes. Current Behaviour - We noticed that it wouldn't find a word with an apostrophe included in Proof since the keyboard just enters a straight apostrophe when typing it in regularly, so we missed important results that we were supposed to check. We downloaded and searched in the PDF and that shows all instances no matter what type of apostrophe was used.&n
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Environment variables is a good feature in AEMaaCS to change OSGi service configuration in runtime without redeployment. Sometimes, project has to have a lot of env variables, especially if you are running several sites on the same program. That's why I would like to have an option to set a description or note for env variable in the Environment Configuration modal in Cloud Manager. Use-case: I can provide few use cases: 1. Imagine you have 2 brand that are running on AEMaaCS. Each of them should pull data from third-party service by schedule. Sometimes there are cases when you need to change a frequency for pulling data for both services or service URL. For example: BRAND1_SERVICE_URL is an env variable with a 3rd party service URL to provide data for brand1, BRAND2_SERVICE_URL is an env variable with a 3rd party service URL to provide data for brand2, BRAND1_SERVICE_CRON is an env variable with a cron exp
