Currently, with documents, if you want to edit custom fields on documents, you have to go 1-by-1 and add the custom form, then fill out the custom field data. It would be so much better if you could in-line edit the custom fields just like you can do in a task list or project list. With the process being so time-consuming and easy for users to overlook, we have great trouble getting custom data entered consistently.
This post has been closed as a duplicate. All votes have been moved to the original: PARENT/CHILD PROJECTS Several workfront users have asked about linking projects in Workfront. For example, one project would be developing the theme for a series of other projects, and each of those other projects would be linked to the master project.
Description - I as a user may not be part of other teams but, still be able to tag them. Why is this feature important to you - User with reviewer license is in the tool to be able to review and collaborate with other users and so, it would be helpful if they can also be able to tag teams they are not part of as well. How would you like the feature to work - even though I am a reviewer, display the teams available in the tool, so that we can tag and comment in the updates section of various different objects.Current Behaviour - Only teams I am part of get displayed
Currently only images use a certain editor that allows images to be "tracked" so you know where they have been used (email, landing page). PDFs do not use the same editor, so they cannot be tracked. If you try looking up under "Used by" tab where your PDFs are used, you get ‘No data yet’ message. As a result, you are unable to track where they are used. With increase of accessibility campaigns by organizations, this would be a helpful tool to use to find where PDFs are used and where they may need to be replaced.
Description - Users have requested to have the option to create / insert a sub-task added to the list of available options in the three dot menu of a task. An option would streamline those times when users need to create a sub-task.Why is this feature important to you - Users have asked why this isn't an option from within the three dot menu on a task already. This could help save time when it comes to inserting a sub-task on a project. How would you like the feature to work - Add the selection for users to select to create / insert a sub-task to the options within the three dot menu on a task.Current Behaviour - There is no option to create / insert a sub-task from the three dot menu.
Our team works very collaboratively especially when filling our project briefs where information is needed form various marketing channels. Currently, there is no way to see if someone is actively updating a field which causes some work to be over written. Would be create to enable a feature that could help solve this.
We would like to have ability to display workload for the larger timeframe.Currently, Workload Balancer displays workload in 1 - 6 weeks or 3 months increments. We would want an option to display workload for 12 months.
Description/Current Behaviour - When you have online marketing assets for example for Social Media posts you not always have one file for the post. In most cases the Text and the picture(s) are separated files because you need to upload it separately from each other. It would be helpfull for this cases when you could create a single proof over two or more files. Why is this feature important to you - That would increase the efficiency of creating such adds and we would also increase the transparency, because now you really need to see wich picture is for which text and the other was round. How would you like the feature to work - That it is possible to create a proof over more then one file. Either to enter the file in the Proof creation or that when some files are selected that you are able to create one Proof for all selected documents in the project/task.
I've run into a lot of scenarios where we could use a 'demo room' where we can show presenters how to use the Adobe Connect software for Interactive Webinars without wanting to waste up a precious Interactive Webinar event in our contract.
We're using A/B testing to try out a new email design and prove that it's the better option. To do this, we're sending to 100% of the audience, but 50% receives the old version, 50% receives the new. We'd love to be able to see how version A performed across multiple email sends versus version B. It doesn't look like Marketo lets you combine these test results into one view, so we're pulling the data from each dashboard and organizing it ourselves. I know it's not the standard use of the A/B testing feature, but it would great if reporting were more robust!
I apologize if this is duplicate but I did not see it anywhere. We have a need to create parent projects that would live between the Program level and the current project level. While I understand that the work could be completed in one project using parent/child tasks we have many departments that would prefer to have their projects tracked separately. There would be many child projects which would roll up to many parent projects and into ONE program. I saw some talk about this on the Global forum but that was it. Please help me vote up this feature request! Thanks!! Michael
Make it possible to sort data in tables by multiple columns (similar to MS Excel). There may be too many rows in the table that have the same value in a column, and then the analysts need to sort the table by the secondary metrics. For example, let's consider a table sorted by Page Views per Visit. The top rows will return 1. Now we want to look at those items that had the highest traffic volume, so we should be able to apply a secondary sorting by Page Views. Obviously, it's possible to use weighted metrics, but:1) they may not be available because of the AA SKU (license)2) they require some time and knowledge not every user has
The Workfront Teams current feature - on the ‘Teams Settings’ > in the ‘Team Members’ list is unable to identify which Team Members are inactive/deactivated.The Search/Typeahead engine will only performing the below functions.1. Add new members into the Team Member List – Search/Typeahead will display active user and indicate with black font Job Role. Click the name and add into the team member list.2. Existing members in the Team Member List – Search/Typeahead will display active user and indicate with blue font Job Role. Click the name will remove user from the team member list.3. Inactive user in the Team Member List – Search/Typeahead will not display the user.4. Users not available in the Workfront platform – Search/Typeahead will not display the user. How would you like the feature to work.It is much beneficial if the typeahead engine made available to search for inactive (deactivated) users in ‘Teams Settings – Team Members’ field especially for a Team which
Description - Allow for reporting on specific stage deadlines from the proof workflow for a user to help them understand when THEIR comments/approval is needed by. Right now it seems like you can only report on the "proof deadline" which is the latest due date set on one of the stages in the proof. Users can't see their specific stage deadline unless they go to the document details page and then review the proofing workflow. There's no reporting that seems to show these stage deadlines and that seems like a huge gap that should get fixed so users can see when their part of the work needs to be done by. This should be accessible in reporting in general (Proof Approvals/Document Versions) as well as on the Homepage for users. Why is this feature important to you - This gives more actionable reporting to users who need it and avoids confusion that happens right now when they can only see the final proof deadline instead of the dealine of their stage. How
Add a function to the Design Studio for uploading assets that captures alt text, descriptions, and any other ADA tags necessary for accessibility compliance. This way, you only need to input default information once, with the option to edit it if needed. The images and other assets will retain this information, so you won’t have to re-enter it each time you send an email or create a landing page.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: We would like to have an option to create a new asset shell on the fly as a placeholder. Use-case: Experience Manager is integrated into our workflow. The double asset creation (in Photoshop and in Experience Manager) plus the additional temporary local saving interrupts the workflow and leads to irritation, filled up local drive with temp files and hinders acceptance of usage. Current/Experienced Behavior: User has to create a new asset first in the relevant software. Save the asset to a local hard drive Create and upload the asset to Experience Manager Improved/Expected Behavior: In the asset screen, the user can click "Create". A new screen shows up where the user enters size, file format, predefined meta data (creator, project name, other properties) A new asset placeholder is created from the specifications and a link provided User can now open the placeholder and edit it in programs like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrato
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Moving assets issue Use-case: Moving of 100+ assets with references is too slow and finally fails. Current/Experienced Behavior: Moving of 100+ assets with references is too slow and finally fails. From time to time there is never-ending spinner. (Screenshot Attached) Its hard to understand if move operation is completed. So it confuses. Also we have new remove feature. So we can remove now folders with big numbers of assets. It works as expected now. Also there is progress bar which helps to monitor progress of removing. (Screenshot Attached) Improved/Expected Behavior: Moving of 100+ assets with references is fast and there are no any errors and there is no never-ending spinner. We currently export email data--including the Subject Line--from Workfront as a CSV file. This file is then opened and edited in Excel, before being sent to an internal application (CGen). This export to CSV is done in Fusion. In order for Excel to correctly recognize the non-Latin characters and render them properly, the file needs to be defined as UTF-8 (Comma Delimited). We can force this to work by opening the CSV in Notepad, manually inserting a uFEFF (zero-width non-breaking space, or BOM) as the first character, and saving the file. This gives Excel the information it needs to recognize the contents and render the non-Latin characters correctly. But there is no way in Fusion to force the CSV file to be created in a way which Excel understands. Russell Howe worked with us on this. There was a change that needed to be made to Workfront as well; that has been completed (Link). This Fusion issue is still open, however. Two files are attached, note that the BOM charact
Description -Why is this feature important to you - We would like to leverage the capabilities of a list var for reporting across more dimensions as it helps our reporting community to evaluate content ownership questions when there is a one to many reporting or vic versa. How would you like the feature to work - Ideally like list props, it would be great to have an enable option to convert an evar to a list var. However, if that's not possible, it would be great to increase the number of list vars available.Current behaviour - There are currently only 3 list vars available.
Typically, we filter leads based on their email addresses. However, there are instances when we need to identify leads using their MarketoIDs instead. While we can search for these IDs individually, it would be more efficient to have the option to input multiple MarketoIDs at once into the filter, rather than searching for them one at a time.
Please add the following metrics to Data Warehouse:BouncesEntriesExitsSingle AccessThis includes both directly using the metric, as well as support for segments using one of them as criteria.
Description -Ability to assign a “primary” team within task assignments In order for tasks to be seen in a team’s backlog, that Agile team needs to be assigned. We have additional team (Example, USI Email and Proofreading team) that will also need to be assigned to tasks; the presence of multiple teams create a conflict, and then that task is no longer on the Agile team’s backlog Why is this feature important to you -This feature would allow customers using Agile Team functionality to not have to worry about the assignments on the associated tasks or issues. How would you like the feature to work -Have an option in Advanced Assignments and via the API to set a primary assignment TEAM. Current Behaviour -Primary Assignments can only be set on users not teams even though you can assign a task to multiple teams.
Description - Add duplicate/copy button on the Issues tab inside a project, so you can duplicate requests/issues there. Why is this feature important to you - Just as we can copy requests on the request landing page to make entering similar requests more efficient, we would like this feature to be used inside the Issues tab inside of a project. It speeds up the process for entering similar requests / requesting work. How would you like the feature to work - Enable the copy / duplicate button, should work exactly the same as the duplicate feature on the requests page now. Just enable it for requests inside projects. Current Behavior - No duplication of requests available on the Issues tab inside a project.
Description - Would like to be able to bulk edit like template tasks on separate project templates at the same time Why is this feature important to you - With our templates, we customize them for each of our marketing channels but we do periodically attach the same custom forms to like creative tasks. For example, I was updating over 250 creative tasks over 20+ templates to attach a new custom form to each of these tasks and pre-fill in some field data. I did bulk edit them per each template but this added about an hour of hour to bulk edit each template task sets when I could have bulk edited all 250+ tasks at once to attach the new form and pre fill in a field in a matter of 5 minutes. How would you like the feature to work - Allow bulk editing for all tasks selected within a report regardless of what template they are for Current Behaviour - Currently only able to bulk edit template tasks for the same template
