We've got copywriters spread across several teams and are trying to get a feel for the workload distribution. For some, each copywriting request is contained in its own project that is owned by the copywriter. In others there are copywriting tasks included as part of other projects. So the report we need is a count of all projects that have at least one task owned by a copywriter, grouped by copywriter. I'm just diving in to Workfront reporting and am have a lot to learn! Any help the community can provide will be most appreciated.

Hello All,I'm working on a Workfront project and need to send a reminder to the project owner three days before the Planned Start Date. I created a test project for this purpose, with a start date of September 5th at 8 a.m. I've confirmed that the project reminder notification is enabled, but the email still hasn't been sent. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions?" Thanks,DM
If I use audience as attribute in another audience. Do both audiences have to have same merge policy?
Hello! I am wondering if there is a setting to allow members of the team to edit custom form fields in the backlog view. I have set up the view to include custom fields and need them to be able to update from the backlog view. I am able to do it as an admin, but my planners are not able. They have to open the issue, open the custom form and edit.
We created a segment in CJA that has criteria using seconds as an inclusion for consecutive email clicks. We found several examples where people are getting pulled into the segment even though their email clicks are well outside the 1 second range. Has anyone used this type of logic on email deliveries? Curious if there is something wrong with the seconds dimension or if there is adjustment needed on our side.
Do you think its better to configure this one on a:- campaign level (js checking in activity)- web sdk event
Happy Friday everyone! Thanks for the awesome engagement yesterday at our Skill Exchange Session about Enabling New Features (and a bit of value realization too) always fun to get out and talk about Workfront. Had a few people ask for slides so thought I'd share more broadly. If you have any questions that did not get answered yesterday, or any others that crop up post them down below and I'll respond. We can always tag in product experts to help with any specific release questions too. Thanks to @kristinfarwell for being an amazing host as always!
Hello, I've come across information online suggesting that it's possible to restrict Marketo Landing Pages to specific IP addresses through the Admin settings. However, it seems this configuration applies globally to all landing pages. Is there a way to apply IP restrictions to just a single landing page—so that it only works within our office network?
Description - It would be ideal if you were to specify, at project template level, that planned hours can be front or rear loaded (in addition to being spread evenly across the task duration) when assigned to a user. Why is this feature important to you - This would help our project managers to schedule resource more accurately, it will allow them to schedule tasks on the same day, get get the most for the available resource on a granular level. The assignees would also benefit, they can concentrate on one task at a time, moving onto the next once the fist has finished. How would you like the feature to work - If a task has a two day duration and 8 planned hours and is assigned to a user who has a capacity of 7 hours per day, WF would allocate 7 hours in day 1 and 1 hour in day two. The task would be set to start at 9am and finish at 5pm which is inline with our default schedule. If the assignee has 2 hours available on day 1 and 7 available in day 2, the task would be s
Hi AllAEM Linkshare functionality when multiple assets within a folder is shared and downloaded, the assets are inside another sub-folder instead of all assets directly inside the parent/root folder. Is this a recent change in OOTB Link share functionality? Is there a configuration to download all assets in the same root folder instead of respective sub-folders?For example, DAM folder /content/dam/test has assets a.jpg & b.jpg, when folder test is shared via Share Link functionality to an author and downloads the folder, then extracts it to find folder with name a.jpg and b.jpg inside these folders, assets a.jpg and b.jpg exists. The expected result is directly inside extracted folder test, the assets a.jpg and b.jpg must be available. Is this possible?
First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to Kari @karib93wi for sharing the details of the creative brief process for Kohler and taking time to answer so many questions from the chat! And to everyone who attended, we hope that you left feeling inspired and excited about new process improvement ideas for your Workfront environment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, so while this is just one example, find what works best for you and look to get leadership buy-in for support and adoption! If you weren't able to join us live, below are links to the slide deck and recording, along with a short summary of what was shared: Slide Deck PDF – these are the Adobe slides (think User Groups, resources, upcoming events) Kohler slides – this is what Kari shared for her presentation Workshop recording Kohler implemented a tiered approach with 4 request types, from large strategic campaigns (Tier 1 and 2) to simple revisions (Tier 4). As leadership approval h
Hi All,I need some clarification about ECID cookie behavior. Currently, ECID cookies are set at the subdomain level, and we are planning to update the configuration so that they are set at the root domain for persistence across subdomains. My doubt is: if an ECID already exists on a user’s browser, is it possible to prevent a new ECID from being generated when we change the cookie domain? Or is there any other way to migrate cookies without affecting previous users? If a new ECID is always created, is the only option to use visitor.setCustomerIDs() for logged-in users?Has anyone implemented this type of migration, and what approach worked best?
We found a range of IP addresses in Workspace that has 99% bounce rate. Further investigation showed that the user agent looks extremely suspicious with some of them being "HeadlessChrome" or using Windows 10 and an extremely outdated version of Chrome. We're convinced they are bots.I would like to add them to the Bot Rules as an IP address but cover the whole range. This is not the real IP address that will be added but just an example. If the IP address starts with "15.12.", will it work if I enter 15.12.0.0/16 in the Bot Rules with IP Address selected in the dropdown?
Hi, I understand that we can implement push notifications with AJO for a Flutter mobile app. However, the documentation isn’t very clear to me. From what I’ve read, it seems that we don’t need native code to initialize the SDK, but we do need to add some native code to pass the Firebase token, for example on Android:MobileCore.setPushIdentifier(token); After that, we should be able to listen for messages in Flutter using something like:List<Message> messages = await Messaging.getCachedMessages(); Is my understanding correct? I’d really appreciate some guidance on this.
Hello Community - I searched for a Diff Checker utility but perhaps there's another term to use. I'd like to see, line by line the difference between published libraries, attempting to track down what appears to be a rather deep issue. I've pulled each build's corresponding files manually and popped them into a diff checker one by one, but that's tedious. If that's the only way to go, what diff checker recommendations do you have? Thanks -- MitchellTe1 (MitchellT)
Are you able to add subfolders in the "New" folder of an asset contribution folder and still have it work as a contribution folder in the Brand Portal? We are using asset contribution folders in the Brand Portal to serve as an the upload point for assets being created for projects. But many of these projects need to have some structure to the assets they are sending. For example, we have a project for digital banners but need to organize them by the channel they serve. I was hoping to do this by adding a folder structure under the "New" folder and then have the contribution functionality handed down to the children in there. Is that doable or does every subfolder then have to be a separate contribution folder?
I am trying to download a Print Summary in PDF format with an Issue details, but need to upgrade the generic format and have the possibility to customize it in future. Is there a possibility to:1. To export only certain fields from different sections of Issue Details tab (but not all of them when selecting a specific section)?2. Eliminate Workfront water sign from the PDF document?3. Manage the layout and order of the fields displayed in the PDF document? Eliminate blank space between fields?4. Export the status field with the custom label status, not the system one? (For instance, my custom status is "Pending review", but the system status associated with it is "On Hold". I need exactly "Pending review" to be displayed within the print summary) Thank you in advance!
You can give a Teaser, like the rest of the core components an arbitrary ID, which also shows up in the data layer. This is useful for identifying the things you'd like to track. Unfortunately this only happens at the component level. For something like a CTA that can be added to a Teaser component, an ID is generated. You can see an example of this on wknd.site. If I inspect the teaser on the first slide on the home page.....you can see its ID, "teaser-2122a9f81a-cta-6b28b693be"The first part, teaser-2122a9f81a" can be arbitrarily changed by adding an ID to the teaser in question. But can the second part be altered somehow? If I look at the even generated in the data layer when this is clicked, I again see this ID.But this doesn't seem like a great ID to identify an obvious clickable item; an arbitrary, intuitive ID would be much better. What are people doing when a site owner comes and says they want an analytics report for the View Trips button clicks? Does a developer have to do
Hello, friends! To anyone that has implemented WF Planning, I'd love to hear your specific use case - I know the reasoning why Planning was created, have read through documentation, and attended some webinars on it. But I'd like to understand some specific use cases:- Why did you go with Planning instead of core WF for your specific use case?- Are you using Planning only or a mix of Planning & core WF for your use case?- Pros/cons about Planning implementation?- Are you doing XYZ in Planning and then mapping record types to core WF and doing ABC in core WF/connecting the two?If you're inclined to be extra generous, I'd even love a short time with you to see it over screenshare - feel free to send me a private message in Experience League!
Hello, I am exploring using Adobe report builder extension to stitch multiple reports into Power BI. I get "additional purchase may be required", does anyone know the associated cost? Kind Regards,
I have a new user who has been added to the Workfront platform, but it says Unregistered next to his name. I don't see how to Register the new user.
Hi, I've set up a 'request' approval process that triggers on a status change of a request The approval goes to a 'role' - and there is only 1 person who performs that role. The probelm is - that person doesn't get an email alert about their approval being needed. They DO get a notification. I can't see anything in email settings - both under system/Email/Notifications or the users personal notification settings that could be blocking this. Can anyone help ? Thanks
Metadata schema where we are using the Generic list to load the drop downs . A generic list with all options was created. Pasting the generic list path in the schema settings under “Add Manually” populates all options correctly.Problem: After saving the metadata schema , options do not persist vanish.Observation: Issue occurs only when the dropdown contains more than ~1,000 options. Smaller lists work as expected.Visibility and choices rules can only be configured after the dropdown options are populated and saved. Please assist me how I can save more than1000 value in list
