I am using AEM 6.4.8 and acs aem commons version is 5.1.2. There is a requirement in the code to create  custom oak indexes. So, I am using a service "Ensure oak Index" which is part of acs aem commons. This service is being used to sync my custom oak indexes to aem oak indexes. Now, the issue is everytime when we restart aem, then indexing also restarts. Is there a way to stop reindexing again when aem restarts.or Is their a way to sync our custom oak indexes without using ensure oak Index.

Hi All,  QA team and authors are creating a lot UAT pages in stage under below path for testing new upcoming go-live /content/project/siteA/, /content/project/siteB, And busines team creating pages in prod under same path very frequently, we have basic auth for this in prod, so business user creates and test.  Authors asking for a content sync for same nodes from prod to stage for newly pages created.  But when we do content sync the same node will over-ride in stage. But authors and QA team need content sync for newly created prod pages to stage and as well as all the UAT pages should remain in stage. UAT pages are created random location in stage and in prod business also creating the pages randomly.  Can anyone help here for incremental content sync without over -riding pages in stage.  Simply I need all the pages from prod to stage for above paths and all the stage pages also should be available for QA team after cont

Hi Team I am working on a project where I need to create a dropdown, checkbox, date range fields and respective labels and one submit button. As I don't have AEM forms package and my project team only works on sites. I have created a component and in component html I have used html code to create form fields and my UI looks as per the requirement. Will there be any problem if I make use of these fields like taking input from the above fields and call an API. I am stuck with calling an api post action with parameters within the component html. Please provide your feedback and inputs on this requirement. Thanks and RegardsPrashanthi

I am trying to load only the specific JavaScript files on a web page in AEM? For example:-I have 50 JavaScript for my entire website but I need to load only the 2 Scripts instead of loading the whole 50 scripts. In this case, how do I achieve it?

Hi, I have a Header Menu event with 2 evars,evar1-linktext, evar2-linksection and login event with the same 2 evars , linktext and linksection. Both evars  1 and 2 having allocation-most recent(last) and expiration - visit. On reporting I see login event evars under header menu event's evar But while I see on the debugger the value is perfect assigned under their respective events. Is this something to do with persistence or expiration?

I am seeking for a solution in journey type for a form page. I have a form page as XYZ & I want to know the previous page details and the exits of the customers in the previous pages before coming to this specific form page "XYZ". Also, I want the journey only for the specific product known as "AB".  What are the ways in can be done?

 Hi, I am attaching a use case with my query. I want to target only those customers who have orders amount of more than 5000 and want to put group by on customerId. I have made an alias (amount * order quantity) inside enrichment and put the condition of totalamount>5000 inside split activity I am unable to put group by on customerId can you please guide me for this. Looking for some help for the best way to set up the form for a new email preference center.My boss wants to lock down the email address field so it displays the person's email, but cannot be edited. This way people cannot change the email address and edit other peoples' subscription preferences and potentially opt someone else in w/o consent (she's thinking GDPR). However, I'm afraid by locking it down we are still susceptible to exactly this problem. Here's a screenshot of this part of our form:I'm afraid this will present us with multiple problems.1.) How do I ensure the correct email address for the person is displayed? Will the email address be the one the email was sent to or will it be the one last used to fill out a form on that device? I am building a custom component which will be used to list down few other pages. Basically I want to get the list pages(multi field) from author and show them in the page for which I need to know what resource type I should I use in component dialog.  I read all OOTB dialogs (https://developer.adobe.com/experience-manager/reference-materials/6-4/granite-ui/api/jcr_root/libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/server.html), text, image, video, rte but I could not find any xtype/ resource type that is related to select any page. Is there any easy way to get the page path from component dialog ?

I need to be able to add a lot of content to our Predictive Content collection. I can't seem to find an API for it anywhere to be able to add items in bulk. Does anyone know of some API documentation they could point me to or have experience adding content in bulk? So far all I'm aware of is the form to add pieces one at a time or Auto Discovery which is a bit buggy, seems to pick up rich text titles and then it's not able to process the item without edits.

Hi all,Context:Transactional email through Message Center needing values calculated, mainly for date formatting purposes. There are multiple places where this is needed and in different formats.Question:Can all the variables be defined in a single content block and called in the body of the Email like in Adobe Campaign, e.g., <%= variable_name %>? Or do you have to create a content block for each instance?Example: The bold text below needs to be reformatted from a single attribute from the payload. in payload: event date: 2022-06-07T12:52:09in Email Body: June 07, 2022 * Location * 12:52tracking url parameter: JUN:2022 Currently, I have created 3 separate content blocks for each displayed date / time. But having to create multiple content blocks for each Email could get unmanageable and wanted to understand if this can be consolidated, without having to do the entire email in the content block.  Appreciate your help in advance,Jim 

We've been exploring the creation of PDF files from Excel files using the Adobe PDF Services API. Obviously converting from XLS->PDF can be tricky in terms of the printable area, orientation, etc. We managed to get the basics working, but in one example we have, the Excel file is converted to a PDF but the last column is split to a second page. I can't find much info on it in terms of any options that might be available when calling the API. I've looked through the SDK JavaDocs and the "Create PDF" HowTo page. For example, I can see that for HTML->PDF you can use PageLayout and SetPageSize, but I don't see this available for XLS->PDF. Any suggestions? Are there options that can be applied or are we out of luck here?

Hi ,I am looking for a way to meet below two offer management fulfillment stipulation rules related requirements in ACC v8. Does anyone know who this can be achieved in ACC v8 and share their thoughts? Ability to define and process fulfillment stipulation rules applied on transactional data? (Eg: Offer: “$50 credit for the conditions, doing 10 transactions within a month and  enrolled for a e-statement”).  If the customer redeemed the offer and met both conditions then ACC needs to process the rules and update the status to offer fulfilment status.Ability to define buffer for offer redemption or fulfillment? (Eg: Eligible for offer redemption for additional 7 days after offer end date).Thanks.
