Hi there,   We recently deleted a bunch of people in Marketo that were syncing to SFDC Leads and Contacts. We did not delete them in SFDC. Naturally, when the SFDC record was updated, they were re-created in Marketo. We noticed that when they were recreated in Marketo, all of their historical SFDC Activity came into Marketo on the same date/time as the re-sync. This means the SFDC Activity date/time is not the actual time it occurred in the past, rather, it is the date/time of the re-sync.   Our SFDC Sync Settings are in the screenshot attached.    Is this expected sync behavior? If not, what might be causing the SFDC Activity sync in this way?    Thanks in advance for your help!

HI Everyone, I have a requirement to migrate large volume of assets to be migrated from different 3rd party application to AEM assets cloud (Assets include images, audio, videos(generally large in size)). Can you suggest me what all are different possible solutions and which is the best solution Adobe recommend.  Any suggestion/thoughts will be helpful.

Hello Team, Hope you are doing well. I have uploaded a SAINT file in Adobe Analytics through the classification Importer. It is having all campaign-related columns(campaign name, campaign type, channels, etc.). When I uploaded my file successfully I can't see the values under some columns (MISC, MISC2, MISC3) for some campaigns only. They are visible as "Unknown" under reports. I have 20 campaigns in the SAINT file, all are available in the Analytics reports(campaign name, channels) but some campaigns(approx. 2-3) don't have values under(Misc, Misc2, Misc3) columns, even when their values are present in SAINT file. Can you please help me in suggesting what can be the reason for this ? Thanks in advance,

I have an AEM form that needs some changes to static text. I am not able to make any edits to the static texts since I have the Lock Text under Edit menu disabled. Any ideas on how to get it enabled so that I can unlock text ?Appreciate the respone. Thanks !Jyothi

Hi Team, We are using AEM as a cloud service and wanted to know the best practices for migrating user permissions to higher AEM environments i.e. QA, Stage, Prod. I am aware about  ACS commons ACL packager but we will mostly likely not have permissions to deploy packages on the higher environments. Can you suggest some possible solutions? Also, can we deploy these permissions as part of code deployment? Thanks,Manpreet

Hi, I just started with AEM and just have a doubt. Can a Single field in a dialog be configured for background image to take images of DAM (or) External image Links? For this i am extending from core - cq/gui/components/coral/common/form/pagefieldAbove image shows the field that takes DAM images. with in the same field i need to accept any of DAM resource or External image link. Can I find any sources to refer (or) Is the scenario possible? Thanks in advance!  

Hello,  Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to customize the search functionality within Aem 6.5.8 and above  to have an ability to search for metadata profiles on the metadata profile page , especially when the list is huge within the page so as to be able to filter and choose options such as copy etc is adobe planning to include this feature anytime soon ?

Recently i wanted to change a friendly name value of a s.campaign variable code we had uploaded. Code        Friendly Namegoogle      Google Ads changed to Code     Friendly Namegoogle   Google When i uploaded this in classifications the result in my workspace reports showed the friendly name of the code with google as being Unknown Traffic. Is it because the Code and Friendly Name values were similar?  This is what we were advised, but i know we have examples of existing codes which are the same as the Friendly names in our list.  I couldn't find anywhere the ruling criteria when doing these classifications.  Does anyone know for sure, without it being a guess? Angela 

Hi,  Currently we are planning to implement AEP for our web and apps. We have introduced the new ACDL and found the name of the data layer to be `adobeDataLayer` there are few concerns on the naming convention. Changing to a different name has any impact ? also what is the advantage of using the name `adobeDataLayer` oppose to other names to our data layer. Hello experts, I am planning to use recommendations for a knowledge portal which has educational resource pages, all the examples or tutorials I saw for recommendations are mostly for retail use-cases, is there a way I can configure for content recommendations instead of product? I was thinking of adding feed with content metadata instead of sku’s and product attributes. Will that work?appreciate if I get any guidance on how to configure feed for content recommendations. 

Hi,   We have scenario that custom field having values like below,   Field Name: months Record1 - Jan,Mar Record2 - Mar, Dec Record3 - Feb,Jul   so when i am trying to query via rest api, I need to use comma to separate multiple values. since comma is already present in the values, its not picking any records. How to escape commas in values?    Please help.

We have an SMS that we need to send only during the hours of 9am-5pm. If someone qualifies at 10am, we dont want to wait until 9:00am the next day to send. How can we go about adding a wait step that ensures we are only sending during office hours and does not delay key messages.   Has anyone done this successfully? Marketo support response was that it is only possible with email and needs to be done via velocity scripting.
