Hi, We have a code snippet,  Map<String, Object> assetMeta = damAsset.getMetadata(); boolean isActiveAsset; boolean hasOnTime = (assetMeta.get("idam:offTime") != null); boolean hasOffTime = (assetMeta.get("idam:onTime") != null); Date offTimeDate = hasOnTime ? ((XMPDateTime) assetMeta.get("idam:offTime")).getCalendar().getTime() : null;Date onTimeDate = hasOffTime ? ((XMPDateTime) assetMeta.get("idam:onTime")).getCalendar().getTime() : null;Basically it is getting on and off time of an asset. But the casting in line 5 and 6 is providing class cast exception. Please suggest a way to get rid of the same?

Hi, I have setup a forward distribution agent configure with the default importer on my local publish instance. When I click on Test Connection, I am seeing the error as shown in the screenshot below. I have added these configurations on my local AEMaaCS instances. Can someone please help what might be causing this issue?

Morning,we have both an infrastructure consisting of dispatcher and publish instance on the same machine, and in two separate machines.In both configurations however one and only one call to a specific servlet, even if it's cached, when called from another linux machine and not from the browser does not return the cached json data, but executes the whole servlet. Inspecting the dispatcher logs, instead of the hit/miss status I see none. No dynamic parameters are passed in the call. Can you explain me the meaning of "none"? Thanks a lot

Hi, I have installed some AEM bundles and getting below error in my local com.adobe.fd.output.api,version=[5.11,6) -- Cannot be resolved a) uber-jar version is 6.5.0 and my local AEM version is also 6.5.0.b) restarted the servicesc)Uninstalled the AEM forms add on package and installed it Nothing worked. Please Advice. How do i resolve this error?

We are implelenting adobe target in SPA application using method adobe.target.triggerView (viewName, options). In order to configure target call on every view that changes in SPA, we are triggering triggerView function so that respective experience will be rendered on respective view. No the question here is, Should viewname be a unique across whole website in SPA?For ex. i have 5 viewes in application, all rendered with different urls but have same root url. https://www.testsample.com/section1/view1https://www.testsample.com/section1/view2https://www.testsample.com/section1/view3 https://www.testsample.com/section2/view1https://www.testsample.com/section2/view2 Now 2 sections have similar url for 2 views view1 & view2, but contents are different and we would like to add different experiences on those views, currently we are passing only view names in adobe.target.triggerView.  Will this work or should be need to pass unique viewnames li

Does anyone have experience with the Marketo Sync user mysteriously converting leads to contacts SFDC?The conversion is assigned to Marketo Sync, but there wasn't anything happening in Marketo to have triggered this. Could something else be going on?Thanks in advance Jenn

I have set up Dynamic Media for an AEM as a Cloud Service instance and can generate renditions and smart crops. With previous instances of AEM 6.x, if you select a dynamic rendition, a button appears to generate a static URL or RESS script for the rendition. This is no longer there for AEMaaCS, has this been moved or needs to be configured? I can't seem to find any documentation on this change.

Hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I'm redoing our company's email template and I've hit a roadblock. Microsoft Outlook seems to be removing images and some element stylings when the email is viewed from the PC app. Outlook in browser or on the Mac app works just fine. It's almost like the normal classes, or mkToImg classes are being completely ignored. Could someone help me address this? I have the email code below (swapped in dummy copy and links). Hi Community!   I'm supporting a team member who asked to remove leads from a Nurture Program as they will be specifically targeted/nurtured by one of our Customer Experience Reps. When I ran the campaign to change their Program Status to Not In Program (I know we lose stats that way), Marketo adjusted the leads to that status and then automatically reverted them back to Member. Any idea why this happened? Not In Program isn't a status on the Channel tag so it's not moving backwards/out of order.   As I don't usually use Not In Program for any of our initiatives, I also added a Pause on the Stream Cadence to catch these folks JUST in case something happened with the status (and glad I did now!). Would that have caused the issue? Here's a screenshot of the results in case it helps.   For now, I can see that the leads who were included in this campaign have all retained their Paused status so we won't send them any content BUT I want to be sure they don't get un-paused in

Hi,I have a requirement where I am including a data-sly-resource within a data-sly-list. I want the path of every resource to be different i.e. use an index or sightly use variable as well as the component should be referenced from the use api.<data-sly-list.item="${class.list}"><div data-sly-resource="${@path='par${item.name}', resourceType='${item.componentPath}'}></div></div>I could do this using cq:include in jsp.I am not sure if a sightly variable/tag can be used within another sightly tag.What I am trying to is have a multifield widget that accepts resourceType from the author. I should be able to reorder the included components. Can you let me know if there is any other way to achieve this?

Hey guys, I am attempting to programmatically retrieve the URL of a Video Asset that is stored in the DAM... currently I've gotten as far as retrieving the Video as a Resource & pulling off its ValueMap, but I'm wondering which tools I should use to get the URL? Don't think it is stored in the ValueMap, so I'm thinking I might need to use something like AssetManager. Current approach to get valuemap below  ValueMap imageResourceValueMap = videoResource.getValueMap(); Thanks, -Joey

I'm working on updating an older Omniutre install to the latest version of Adobe Analytics. One thing I've noticed in the new version is that the page names in reports are displaying as lowercase where in the old Ominture version that appeared regularly.. is there a setting that controls this?

Hi Team, I have Page component for that i have added one text field for basic tab  i.e SITE NAME.    I have created multiple level child  pages based on above page component. when ever i edit child page properties i am able to see SITE NAME test field if i enter SITE NAME=abc.com its comming in page property lke SITE-name=abc.com if i leave empty i am not able to see SITE_NAME property in pages. Now  the requirement is i will not enter the SITE NAME for child pages but its parent page contains SITE Name  how i will get parent page site name  child page.
