Is it possible to create a job that we can run manually without any cron timings. Requirement is : we can go to schedulers and click on that scheduler to start the job.

I utilize a measurement within a product description that looks something like this: Widget A - 2'3" x 4'2", or Widget B - 20". I believe that the quote character " " " is causing an issue when uploading the classification to Analytics using the importer. I've tried MANY different combinations of a v2.0 and v2.1 importer, excel file types, and trying to escape the special character by including quotes and double quotes in variace places in the key. I successfully use classifications with other items - what simple thing am I missing this time? Hi, So I have an annoying issue that I am not really sure what the best way to tackle it is... when querying for data in Power BI using the Adobe Analytics connector, if more than four days passes, it starts timing out. I have quite a complex query though, with five dimensions which I need to get data out per day for a couple of months. I know that the Adobe API is built more for quick, shorter queries, so this one just keeps timing out. Two things that I am thinking about doing, is:1) Split up the queries to daily instead, but I do not know how I would go about or even start to do that. Say my date range is 2021-01-01 to Today, I'd like to be able to split that up by day, query it per day and then append the queries to a new table. No idea how I'd go about doing that though... any tips would be helpful! 2) Break down one dimension at a time. The only common identifier I have is an ID that is the common between all dimensions. I am looking for documentation on the correct approach/pattern for JWT OAuth validation when using the Registered OAuth Clients in AEM. I have searched the internet and I have not found any good examples of how to validate the JWT OAuth Registered Client token.  I understand the flow from a 3rd Party OAuth Authentication server (ie: FaceBook, Google), but I am looking for the pattern when using the OOTB Registered OAuth Clients in AEM (/libs/granite/oauth/content/clients.html).  Can anyone please provide me with some direction or an approved validation pattern.

I had tried to create archive lca file from aem forms 6.3 workbench. Lca file is created in my local file system. Can someone help me what are files exist/ file names inside the lca look like? Can i use this lca file to import and deploy under application in  administration console of aem forms 6.5? Can someone please guide.  

I know that you are able to see when a user has Time Off within the resource management tool, and when assigning tasks (showing the exclamation mark) - but is there anyway to know/alert someone when they are tagging a user in an update who is on PTO? Or for tasks to be delegated while OOO, similar to the way approvals work? We have built a Time Off calendar that everyone has access to which is helpful. But getting a lot of Project Managers being unaware of someone taking a last minute day off when tasks are already assigned out, and they are pinging them in updates with no way of knowing they are off without checking the calendar, causing projects to be delayed. Just curious if anyone knows of a helpful solution :)

I'm using Return Path to get information on inbox placement, and it mentioned that gmail inbox placement rate is suffering because there is no "mailto List-Undsubscribe header" in the email. When a package with JS and CSS code is built and deployed, and then a page requested from the website, it contains links to JS and CSS files processed by AEM (with additional name parts and possibly minified), e.g.: <script src="/etc.clientlibs/foundation/clientlibs/shared.min.9f3716b2c473fd53ab31b1caa53131a8.js">  Generally, when a new version of the package is installed, new JS and CSS file names are generated; and, when they are requested, the new code is served. However, from time to time we notice that, right after deployment, pages already contain links to files with new names but those links serve old code, which often breaks important functionality, as old code is invalid for the new markup.  These invalid JS and CSS files are then cached in visitors' browsers, and even when Publishers start serving the new code, it does not help, as the scripts' names are the same and client browsers get them from cache. Hi Team  I am trying to add summarizing text to the Content Fragment according to this Variations - Authoring Fragment Content  documentation. I am not getting any option as per the documentation. It says       I don't see a full screen editor (I think that is the basic issue here . . FYI. I am using the OOTB Simple Fragment Model /libs/settings/dam/cfm/templates/simple )Also I tried following Adobe Experience Manager Help | Using Content Fragments in AEM 6.3 this video which was done for 6.3 version assuming there might be some similarities . For example example.com/?cid_ppc_exmaple In advertising platform i have this issue only in ppc, but in report i see this cid in next platform f.e. social_exmaple where is tracking code correct. Is it possible, that Adobe rename this cid in report? Thank youTomas

Hi Team,We migrated assets from Microsoft azure to AEM as a cloud instance using the bulk import feature. The assets are populated in AEM but the folder structure and asset names are modified by AEM in processing while upload. Apart from the general rules such as replacing special character and space with encoding and underscore, there are a lot of additional manipulation which we are not able to generalize. For eg. path of the azure asset "version_sent_to_abc_with_stamp" is converted in AEM as "version_sent_toabcwithdate_stamp". The problem with this modification is that the metadata import for assets is reporting failure (Failed to import metadata. Error[Asset not found]) wherever there is mismatch in asset path and name and we have to manually correct these paths in our metadata sheet before using the metadata import.Is there any solution to handle this or automated way to correct the asset paths as we are dealing with very high number of assets?Thanks,Manpreet

Hello Folks,I am looking for recommendations/best practices around maintaining the "Editable Templates". Specifically, on the following two points A) When authors create new editable templates on Production Author, what's the best way to bring the newly created editable templates to the lower environments like Stage, QA and DEV servers? This definitely required for debugging the production issues on the lower environments.B) In case if editable templates are committed to SCM(git), then how is the overriding of newly created editable templates(which are only present on Production Author and yet to be committed to SCM) during the code deployment to production is avoided? Hoping to hear some real time project scenarios and practical ideas around this topic. Hi, We are creating react components based on SPA framework but we have extended it to be multi-page applications using react based component. Now we want to implement URL shortening. for that, we are creating a mapping in jcr resource resolver mapping and rewrite rules to hide "/content/XXX". Now when we are making a request to page without /content/XXX/en/abc.html like /en/abc.html then all calls are 200 included model.json for the page but the react components are not able to map it where if I make a request /content/XXX/en/abc.html then the same response is coming back but the page is getting rendered. So is there i way that we can implement url shortening for react SPA framework(from official documentation, I understand that this feature is not supported OOTB) but is there any other alternative which we can use to implement the URL shortening. Thanks,Sudesh

Hi Mates,  I recently working with policies with different projects in a same AEM instance. I just notice that I got an issue while trying to apply policies from a project to another. conf/   project1/      settings/         wcm/            policies/ all component policies from project1            templates/ I want to use policies from project2   project2/      settings/         wcm/            policies/ Policies created by code In this example I have policies created by code in project2 and I want to let Template editors to select policies created from another project because I do not have access to the other project but we want to share policies.  Is there a way to set global policies that are not restricted by projects and all templates can consume? Regards
