Hi community, we are currently running AEM 6.5.21 on premise and are planning to support Java 17 and upgrade our AEM with 6.5 LTS.I already read, that 6.5 LTS already includes SP 22.But as we were kicking off this topic, we wondered if we need to or can update AEM with the newest service packs in the future, such as the upcoming SP23. Thanks in advance Best RegardsAndy

Hello,Wondering what might cause the 'Save as' option to gray out/not be available within the Catalog Search > Advanced Search window? I've added a number of rules/filters to the data set and I'm returning a few hundred entities, however, when attempting to save the search as a collection or exclusion it's not working. Any known reasons for this? Anything to look at to troubleshoot?

Hello,Is there a way in which I can automatically update the metadata of my assets with values that don't exist in AEM?For example, I would like to bulk-update assets with tags. Some of the tags exist, but some don't. Is there a way I can make AEM create the tags that don't exist and assign them to my asset? I am using the Assets Metadata Import functionality and noticed that if the tags are not available in AEM, they do not get created. Many thanks,Ana

Hey Everyone. I need help finding out how to convert the number in "Count" to have a comma. This shows it in the Workflow Task. The formatting is stripped when the parameter is generated during email delivery.  This is the current expression. I've used both $long and $float.   

Looking through the documentation and I can't seem to find a definition here.  Under the Consents and Preferences field group there are 2 subgroupings, Receive Emails and Receive Commercial Emails.  I'm clear on receive emails and that this acts as a filter on if a customer can be emailed, but I can't find anything in the documentation on what, specifically, Receive Commercial emails does.  Any insight here appreciated as I'd like to make sure I'm using all of the functionality and being as granular as possible.

I am creating Content Fragment model for a react component and there is requirement to show a set of fields if a checkbox is true for the content authors. Is that possible to implement?For example, if the author checks "show message on expiry" it should display a text field to get message as input. Otherwise the message field should be hidden.

Is there a method to highlight duplicate values in a column in a report, similar to how Excel's conditional formatting works for highlighting duplicates?For example, if a column contains the value "123" twice, it should be flagged as a duplicate.

Hello Adobe Community, I am in the process of setting up the first subdomain for a client and have noticed several IP addresses listed as type A records in the DNS Records. I would like to confirm whether these IP addresses are the 24 IPs that Adobe provides to the client for sending emails in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). Could someone please clarify if these IPs are indeed allocated for this purpose, or if they serve a different function? Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Diego P.

hi team, a client is using the CNAME delegation for creating a subdomain. They've pasted all DNS records in their hosting solution but when they want to paste this AJO record: CNAME , notificaciones.aaa.ar , notificaciones.aaa.ar.cname.cjm.adobe.com in their hosting solution, the client is currently adding it as an A Alias because their hosting provider requires an initial alias to configure a CNAME (like data. ; _dmarc. ; cdn , etc.) , and notificaciones.aaa.ar doesn't have one.That's why they're using an A Alias. But AJO is not finding the CNAME record desired ( notificaciones.aaa.ar ) and we're not able to create the subdomain.Has anyone faced this before? We're in a hurry as we need to start our email campaigns.  Thanks.

I would like to understand how Dynamic Media assets can be integrated and delivered efficiently in this setup. I have a “download” link (HTML 'a' tag) which has the `href` pointing to Scene7/Dynamic Media URLs. Those URLs are NOT the asset, but an API that provides the assets along with the video player. I tried a bunch of things, here a couple:- Adding download at the HTML 'a' tag: eg '<a href="scene7.server..." download>'- Add Content-Disposition header in Scene7 serverI found that this will not work (because it’s not a matter of the 'a' tag neither the browser, is a matter of the URL itself. So, I tested using the AEM instance directly, and works! But (at least in this case) this is NOT a valid solution since if we're loading directly from DAM it'll have major performance ramifications. QUESTION: There is a way to download assets from Scene7/Dynamic Media? Either a different URL or tweaking any props in S7/DM instance?There is a way to directly access the ASSET in S7/DM?Any workaround of this situation?Any other thoughts? Thanks so so much in advance.

Hey guys, This is a very quick question, but its blocking me from setting up my projects edge delivery final production site. Im following the "Edge Delivery To-Do List" on Adobe Cloud within our program, and got to step 3 which is "Add Edge Delivery site". I filled out the information for that step correctly, for our teams github repo for this site and the clients name - but facing a "Site creation failed" error. (See attached screenshot)Another error comes up when I try to do Step 4 which is "Add domain". I fill out the domain name the client owns, and which will be our EDS's final site destination push, but I receive the error "Domain Creation Failed". (See attached screenshot)Looking for assistance to overcome these errors, as its majorly blocking the pipeline setup. Thanks.

Issue & Background:We manage a DAM system with over 3 million assets, where every uploaded asset goes through the DAM Update Workflow. This workflow includes several steps, such as generating a 4K JPEG rendition and a few OOB thumbnail renditions.A new requirement emerged where assets within a specific folder—/product-assets (containing over 1 million assets)—now need an additional 4K PNG rendition along with the existing 4K JPEG rendition.To prevent adding extra load on the DAM Update Workflow, we created a separate Rendition Maker Workflow specifically for this 4K PNG rendition and applied it only to the /product-assets folder via a launcher.As a result, assets in this folder now go through two workflows:DAM Update Workflow (standard process)Rendition Maker Workflow (4K PNG rendition generation)However, we have observed an issue (based on assumption) that running two workflows simultaneously on assets is leading to:Some renditions getting corrupted or not being generated properly

Greetings community,I have a problem with my RTE. I have the misc tool source edit plugin set up. But lists are not rendered correctly in the Rich text edit mode.see the two enclosed pictures:  Here on this last picture, I can't see the bullet points of my list. Hello, Is there any way to create custom action type in AEM form container. Currently it has the following options but I wanted to add one extra field like payload using API call. Also Is there any document, to refer how to create custom action type and how to make API call with the form data. I want to do this with form component not with Adaptive form.
