We have created an editable template. While moving this to higher environments(to QA,Stage & Prod),there are some confusions reg. permissions while defining it.Use case 1:- In dev , do we need to give the template authors access only to developers .What about in QA - is it only to QA folks? Subsequently in stage & prod(only for business authors) ? Use case 2:- Suppose if a person is having access to template authors group, does he/she really needs any predefined access to other folders? Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to send an alert/report of the top 10 active customers/prospects for each Sales account manager.   If so where would be the best place to set this up Marketing activities and use smart campaigns or is there another way.   We have access to OneInsight (MSI equivalent) but not all account managers have access to this.   Any help appreciated!   Malc

Hello,   we just noticed something  unexpected and I wonder if any of you had an idea.   We usually store the link to our Marketo unsubscribe page in a program token:   {{my.unsubscribe-link}} = lp.example.com/Unsubscribe?mkt_unsubscribe=1&mkt_tok=##MKT_TOK## Where on the email we have something like this:<a href="https://{{my.unsubscribe-link}}" style="text-decoration: none;">{{my.unsubscribe-text}}</a> Standard stuff, I guess, and everything works well.   Now, if we put the same mechanism into a snippet, the token version does not work anymore. After clicking the link, this remains in the browser URL:https://lp.example.com/Unsubscribe?mkt_unsubscribe=1##MKT_TOK## That looks funky and of course it also doesn't work. The form field for the email address is not populated.Whereas if we "hard code" the unsubscribe link directly into the snippet, the link works as expected. I have a clientlib with 3-4 js files in it in a component. I wanted 1 of those JS files to load for my dialog. I cant use extraClientlibs because that way all the JS will load for my dialog, whereas I specifically want only 1 particular file to load for my dialog. Is there a way to do this?

Here is the situation.  You go to the form and fill it out, when you click on the company and start typing it searches in the backend to give the user choices on the company and if the company doesn't exist it can be added. (Picture below of what I mean)   How do others set this type of thing up in a Marketo form?

Of course, this does not account for task weight and resourcing among other things but that is fine for now. I've tested both DATEDIFF calculations on their own and they function, so the issue is when this all comes together and divides. The first DATEDIFF pulls the difference between today and the planned start date, let's say that's 7 days. The second DATEDIFF pulls the difference between the end date and start date, let's say that's 14 days. I'm then trying to divide the result of the first DATEDIFF into the result of the second...7 into 14 to get .5, which I will then convert to 50%. Again, the DATEDIFFS are functioning, so in my testing I have 7 and I have 14, but the division yields 7.416666667 rather than .5 and I cannot for the life of me determine why that is the case. What is the way of caching the components of a page. I want to achieve caching at component level. I have few components in a page and I want to make do not cache for 2 components and rest of the components to be cached.

We currently use a project report that users can see a list of open project on which they're a team member. A few users have asked if the report can be revised to only show projects on which they still have open tasks. They rather not see projects in their list if all if their tasks are completed, even if the project is still open for others to work on. I prefer not to use a task report in this instance- just need project info, not a list of tasks. I know there are (severe) limitations on crossing project and task information in reports, but wondering if anyone has been able to solve for something like this? Thanks!

We send emails to our contacts in Marketo with links to webpages and PDFs. When the recipient forwards this email to the rest of their office, the links no longer work and instead pull up blank webpages.  Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

Hi everyone! New Marketo user here - like our instance is still being set up new.    Quick question about images in emails. Several of the image blocks in the template created by our implementation vendor have fixed widths.    Playing around with dropping in assets, I've noticed that unless you use the exact right image width, the image comes out the right width but a little blurry. For example, these two logos are in a box set to 69x94. The first is set to those exact dimensions. The second is a larger image - 260 px wide - that was then scaled down by the system. The second image is ever so slightly blurry, which you can notice on things that have nice crisp lines like logos:  I haven't seen this before in other email programs. Scaling up from an image that's too small, sure, but not scaling down into a set size. I've put some cartoonishly huge images into small spaces before and, while load time isn't great, they still looked good.    Is this

Hi,I have installed "nlserver6-v7-8857-x86_64_rh7.rpm", I have followed installation steps from Prerequisites & Installing packages  when I am trying to run any nlserver from "/usr/local/neolane/nl6/bin" getting below error "./nlserver: error while loading shared libraries: libmozjs.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"No clue how to fix this. Hi All,  We have an issue where clientlibs included directly included in the page (using data-sly-call overriden in customheader and customfooter fragments) is loading after the clientlib included through page policy. This is for XF page. Is there a way We can include the page policy after the statically included base clientlibs.

We can categorize our clientlibs using this property to manage files easily and only load whatever we need. The categories property, being multi-valued, allows a library folder to be    part of more than one category." hi folks,I'm just try to understand the above. Can I have multiple clientlibs with the same "category" value in the .content.xml files ?I tried it and it seems to work but I have some doubts if it is allowed.I know all about "embed" and "dependency" etc. and I didn't use them here.Just asking if I can use the above method. Hi, I am trying to integrate AEM 6.5 with  Adobe Launch using Adobe I/OReferring :- https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/sites/integrations/adobe-launch-integration-tutorial-understand.html But i am unable to map Adobe Launch cloud service with my project as we have static templates and our project is not under conf. Is it the case that we can only using header approach for integrating launch with static templates in AEM?By any chance can we integrate Adobe Launch using Adobe IO while being on static templates.?@neerajpandey24 @kautuk_sahni  

We have a connector which uploads file using Asset API HTTP Put to upload any new assets into AEM OnPrem.The issue we are facing is when we disable WebDAV in AEM, the HTTP PUT also stops. Is there a way to allow to upload assets via HTTP PUT while keeping WebDAV disabled.Thanks

Hello,  We have implemented authentication requirement (from page properties -> advanced -> Authentication Requirement) for some of our sites and added Custom User Group so that only users part of that group can access the site after successful authentication.  The solution does not prevent users from trying as many attempts as they want. This may lead to brute force attack where attacker can try as many combinations for a user and get access to the secured site.  Is there any OOTB feature for locking out users based upon some number of unsuccessful authentication attempts? We can reproduce the same in author environment (though author is accessible by company network only) as well which requires login before updating any content. 

Hello all, We manage our company's website in AEM, and there are two teams on which I'd like to focus here: content managers and developers. Developers create new templates and components, and content managers use both developed and out-of-the-box components ti create and update pages. Both teams use localization strings via AEM Translator: content managers manage them in the production instance, developers on dev and test ones. To minimize issues in newly developed code, developers would like a convenient way to have up-to-date translations from production at their local instances. So far we have tried two approaches:- keeping content managers' and developers' translations in separate dictionaries, the second one is not allowed to edit in production translator.
