I'm trying to track newsletter signups from a specific form. The form is for something else entirely, but we've decided to add an optional checkbox to subscribe to our newsletter to increase readership.   What I'm trying to do is create a Smart List for people who subscribed to this newsletter at the time of submitting the form. Everything I've tried so far pulls in people who have filled out this form and subscribed to our newsletter at a later point, which is not what I'm looking for.   Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hey, so in Activity Map, is it fair to say that it always sends data about a click on the next /b/ss/ beacon? More specifically: With a Download Link or an Exit Link, is the click to that going to show up on the next /b/ss/ beacon (so not the actual Download Link or Exit Link beacon, but the next beacon)?What about for links that open in a new window? If that page has AA and is on the same implementation, it's going to show up on that page's load, right? What if that next page isn't on the same implementation though? Are there scenarios (like Download/Exit links or new links that take you to a spot where the same implementation of AA isn't) where the Activity Map data is lost because there's not another user interaction and so therefore no subsequent beacon? Thanks for all the help!

Team,  We have a requirement to send attachments along with the rtEvents .  We have implemented one service that will directly talk to the RT instances (cloud) . We are calling the  RT instance rtEvents method and sending the context information. Client  ----> Microservice -----> Adobe RT instance and calling the rtEvent methodIs it possible to pass the attachment url as a parameter to the rtEvent method? if yes, how adobe reads the attachment and add it to the rtEvent? Please explain me the process. Appreciate your help.

Example: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b0/c8/a6/b0c8a6f414876ccf790fa28089e9c24f.jpg I tried using clip-path: polygon in the CSS but that doesn't seem to be supported in most email clients. Any ideas on how to go about achieving this effect? Thank you!

OK, maybe it's somewhere really obvious but I am baffled on how to see Completed Projects within a program in the new experience. Classic had the sub-tabs for Active and All. If I open a completed program to review an old project in the new experience, it simply says there aren't any projects yet.

Q1. We see discrepancy for 'Entries' metrics when we compare it between Workspace and Report Builder, when taking product as a dimension and Entries as a metric. Numbers were less in report builder when compared to workspace. Q2.  Entries are populated for entry page types other than product page page when we look have product as a dimension and Entries as a metric. Is there a different way i should interpret this report.  

Hi, many of my time series visualizations (line, area, bar) show missing or 'shifted' time series labels.  I think this happens because we use a fiscal calendar.  Is there any way around this besides creating my own custom time periods and using them in place of the native time periods (day, week, month)?  The example below shows missing months for instance.

Hi Members, I am trying to integrate my local AEM 6.5 instance to a Kafka instance running on confluent cloud. I have written a servlet that uses Kafka Streams to connect to Kafka instance. Now when I am trying to deploy the servlet in my local AEM, the kafka packages are showing as 'cannot be resolved' in system console bundles. The dependency is added in pom file and maven code build runs fine with no issues. Any pointers or suggestions on how to resolve this?Thanks

Hi All, I have used hard coded path such as: In a workflow, in file collector,I have used folder path to pick from D:\FolderX\QA\xyz\  Now, the following changes need to be done:This path should be in option - folderPath: D:\FolderX\<environmentVariable>\xyz\QA should be in another option variable, that defines environment i.e, environmentVariable.I tried with this approach: By assiigning the option folderPath with this value -> D:\FolderX\<%= getOption("environmentVariable") %>\xyz\  and called <%= getOption("folderPath") %> in File collector activity. But, it threw error. Maybe the text value is not looking for the script and instead takes as only a text value. Could you please help me achieve this.  Thank you,Anoop

 Hi all,I would be thrilled if somebody would be able to come up with some suggestions on how to solve a "challenge" we are facing.Backround:- we are using offline data import to add some offline events and evars to our reporting- we are using transactionID to associate these with user behaviour- the events are set as countersThe challenge:- we were running a few imports of offline events to Adobe these past few weeks, all in all, 3 months worth of data- by a mistake, we uploaded the the whole database everytime, not only the incremental data :(- we found out, that every event that we uploaded as a duplicate by a mistake is treated by adobe, as if it happened multiple times, and not as a duplicate of the same event- so, if an event with the same transactionID and the same timestamp was included in three offline data imports, Adobe treats it as if it happened three times- obviously, the data is ruined- obviously, we would love not to loose 3 months worth of data- it is not possible to r

Hey Everyone, I am new to Marketo, started using it 4 months back. While syncing Marketo~SFDC, I have done one mistake. In spite of giving credentials of API enabled salesforce user, I used our Salesforce sandbox credentials. However, I have not to click on the Start Salesforce sync button. Is there any way to go back and I can use my API enabled salesforce user credentials. I have attached the screenshot for reference.  

Hi. My client's website contains several web apps developed by separate teams. As the apps grow, the teams want to record new data about users, e.g. "unread messages", "new notifications", "qualifies for xyz" and so on. I'd like to avoid adding new eVars/sProps every time a new piece of metadata comes along. Does anyone have a clever way of implementing this? Either by: - a digitalData.user schema that's flexible enough to be reused for most needs- a way in which we can add key-value pairs to a single eVar/sProp and convert each pair into a new dimension Any suggestions would be appreciated. 🙂 Cheers.

My form will be hosted on an external site. The form fields width is extremely wide no mater what the settings are in Marketo.  Demo contact form    I've removed every field to try to identify the culprit and cannot.    Also, the links do not show as linked text unless you hover over them, and they should be clearly labeled as links.    Any suggestions?

Dear, During a webinar from Adobe, we've learned that with respect to e-mail deliverability we should not exceed more than 20% above the average max volume over the last 3 to 6 months. We wonder how exactly we should calculate the average max volume of the last 3 to 6 months. Does this imply calculating the average of the maximum during a period of 1 month over the last 6 months. As in: calculate the max of the last 30 days, the max of 30 to 60 days ago, 60 to 90 days ago, etc. and to then calculate the average of those 6 maxima. Thanks for your input / suggestions!Wesley

Hello - we recently changed our unsubscribe process from a single-opt out to a preference center where users can check what type of content they are receiving. On this new page, there is a textbox that populates the users email address. We are finding that a good chunk of people are modifying their email addresses here, which is causing the system to create new users with only email addresses.   How can we prevent this from happening/what is best practice? Does it make sense to block the email field so that it's read-only?

We are migrating to Marketo but keeping our CMS in Hubspot. Is there an easy way to embed Marketo forms onto Hubspot landing pages?   I've explored options using the "Footer HTML" in Advanced Settings of Hubspot, but if anyone has any other ideas, would be appreciated 🙂
