Hello ALL,We are using Adobe DTM for adding tags based on onload or onclick events. Now we want to determine how adding tags will effect page's performance? For a specific page, say on "contact us" page of a website, adding 3 tags will give same load time compared to adding 50 tags (adding tags on load event)?Please give me some idea on this.Thanks,Manoj

While working on AEM Content Fragments we noticed that there is a new jcr property which is "fragmentlastsave" and trying to figure out the purpose of this property. The value getting stored is same as value stored as part of jcr:lastModifed date. Any can provide the justification for this? 

When we create a new Adobe Launch configuration in AEM, we provide the values of fields like "Associated IMS Configuration", "Company", "Property" etc, and then on the next window, the staging & production fields get populated automatically. I was just wondering in this case, what is the use case of the "development" environment(s) in Adobe Launch. Are they just for developing the properties, but do not serve as an integration point in AEM? And if not, could someone guide me resources on how to go about to point to development environment?I have currently have setup following the instructions at Integrate AEM with Adobe Launch Via Adobe I/O . So in the author environments, it points to "staging", and on publish dispatcher it points to "production". Since we have four different AEM environments (dev/test/train/prod), the team was wondering if we could have the lower environments point to "development environment" of Adobe Launch.

Whenever I tried to build the library with latest update version then "Development Building" message is visible for long time (in progress).And if i try to build the library with older version then it is asking me to apply update and continue.Please let me know teh solution.

Hi, My doubt is regarding to extensions. I have installed Adobe Analytics extension in one of my mobile property, but while building the rules i'm not able to see Adobe Analytics extension whereas Desktop property has the same.Regards,Vijay

We configured the Analytics Extension to automatically track exit and download links for certain domains and extensions respectively. There is also a doPlugins which adds some events and eVars to these with something like this:if (s.linkType === 'd') {    // set some eVars and events} else if (s.linkType === 'e') {    // set some other eVars and events}This works fine, but as this isn't a rule where I have full control over the actions, events and evars set here, are repeated with the next rule that is fired. We created all the rules with the Clear Variable action at the end, but now it seems, we should have put it first, before setting the new variables. Is this the only way to make sure these eVars and events are cleared before the next rule fires? Or is there a way to tell the Analytics Extension to clear variables also for these two automatic link trackings?

We would like headerAccess-Control-Allow-Origin: *set on the adobe hosted files, in order to get full js error stack traces into our logs. Is that a possible ?

Understand the Launch API is at alpha stage only but wish to have some early try on it but hitting into an early problem.Going through API documentation and it seems that the "List Companies" and "Get a Company" should be the first thing to do after getting the adobe.io authorization code. Unfortunately, the "List Companies" returned an empty array in the "data" node and I can proceed no further.I had tried the "Get a Profile" call and able to retrieve my profile with some potential issues:there is no "display_name"email address is the @techacct.adobe.com account instead of my Adobe ID accountunder organizations and the EC Org, "admin" is false but I am the EC Org adminI had all those name, email, and admin right properly configured in the EC Admin Console. Is there anything missing or mis-configured?

Hi all,It seems like the behavior of Launch is still the same as in DTM when it comes to direct call rules & global variables. Global variables are not registered in a direct call rule. For me this is a leftover from DTM times where there was a difference in Event Based, Page Load and Direct Call Rules. With the new "Core" Module concept in my opinion there should be the same behavior in all drop down options. The differentiating factor should be if I call s.t() or s.tl() when I send the beacon. Can anyone explain to me the concept behind this?Thanks.Konstantin

Hi,I've seen some issues with the ContextHub extension:if I open the Editor, with data in it, and then click Cancel next time the Editor is empty.if the schema is Valid I see an error in browser console and all Data Elements based on the Extension are not working.Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Hi, after following the basic documentation that is available to install the Experience Cloud ID Service extension with Adobe Launch I got the following results:- DTM debugger basically says the ID Service loads:[Experience Cloud ID Service] Created instance using orgId: "MYID@AdobeOrg" [Experience Cloud ID Service] Set variables: {"trackingServer":"XX.sc.omtrdc.net","trackingServerSecure":"XX.sc.omtrdc.net"}[Adobe Analytics] Setting MCID instance on the tracker.- About 6 s_vi cookies are set- No AMCV  cookie is set- No MCID value available on Analytics request- calling Visitor.getInstance("MYID@AdobeOrg") from the console returns an object without MCID value.Is there any additional documentation or clues that anyone could offer to troubleshoot this implementation issue?I do not know if this matters but for background:- my web property is a subdomain (sub.main.com)- main.com is another property where the experience cloud id is already set up via DTM. Is there a use case for having more than one adapter?  I can see the need for two if you have one website using Akamai and another site using sftp?  But can one presume most orgs would only require one adapter? Is there another scenario that I might be missing?The whole notion of adapters is somewhat confusing (particularly the name), why not select the hosting location when you create the environment? 

We are having a scenario in Adobe campaign standard where we need to use the same file name which is used in File transfer activity in Extract file activity after the successful insertion/update of records in Update activity. Also want to get each row based status whether the record is inserted/updated after update activity in Extract file activity.Tried to use $(vars/@filename) however the same is not working. Let me know how to achieve the above scenario in Adobe Campaign standard.

Hi All,  We are having a use case to get an asset version related to change in the asset birany (image itself such as image color, size change, not in metadata), not related to metadata change.AEM creates an asset version for metadata and binary changes and stores into /jcr:system/jcr:versionStorage.Can you guys please suggest an approach to get asset version related to binary change only, not metadata change? Thanks in advance.  

Hi, We are using AEM6.3 with SP2Classic:-RTE in classic allows to give any custom tag like (<newtag>ff</newtag>) we can edit this in source edit option in RTE. Touch ui:-The same when given in touchUI , the custom tag is getting removed after we submit the RTE dialog and reopen.Is there a way to make Touch UI RTE accept custom tag (<newtag>ff</newtag>) . Please help as how this could be resolved   Thanks

Hi,We migrated our Facebook pixel from GTM to Adobe Launch. We created a rule using the Facebook extension action type "send page view" (screen grab below)What we noticed is, once the Launch rule was published, the pageview counts in facebook spiked significantly.GTM tag was paused before Launch rule was published, so there shouldnt be any issues with the pixel firing twice. We note that GTM configuration had "Fire Once per Page" option ticked, which we believe is replicated by "Core - Page Bottom" event in Launch. What we are wondering is, has anyone else come across this issue? or have we missed a step in creating the rule? Any thoughts/feedback is welcome. Thanks.Winston
