hi Team, As my organization uses a docker container to run local AEM instance, I am NOT able to find log files or even crx/quickstart folder to play with.I understand this question is more specific to AEM with docker, but has anyone in this forum happen to find the AEM log files for the local instance ? Otherwise, how we can debug our code while AEM running inside docker ? I have been asked to use the below command to tail the logs, but I want to know the actual location of the AEM logs folder.  docker exec -it aem tail --lines 0 -f ./crx-quickstart/logs/error.log Thanks !

I have JMX that is traversing around 20000 nodes and runs for ~45 mins.Locally it runs without error but it fails on testing environment with this error."Gateway TimeoutThe gateway did not receive a timely responsefrom the upstream server or application." Any idea how i can solve this?

Form A has few fields and submit button. For form submission, we are using Submit to Rest End point(Sling AEM servlet) and adding redirect URL as Form B path We will get ID value as part of sling AEM servlet response. This ID has to shown in Form B. I have gone through all the below links and could not find how to get ID value in Form B. Please read my question clearly and provide your response. We are migrating from Signal to Launch. We had set up rules and migrated all script libraries. We have added Launch code snippet to the head tag of our page.In the console we are getting below error._satellite.__registerScript is not a function.We have tried loading required script libraries to page bottom/page top/window load but noting worked out.Please help us in resolving this issue.Note : We have our pages built in People Soft as we were not able to add Launch JS code snippet to the head tag. When I am using Analytics extension in Launch, it does not allow me to save the configuration and keep asking for "Production Report Suite". I was able to do the same thing several month ago. Is this a bug for the new version of the extension?One possible solution is that I can choose it from data elements. However, can somebody teach me how to do it correctly if I am using data element?

Hi All, We have recently migrated our dtm property to launch, by using "Link to DTM Embed code" option. Now, even after publishing, the launch prod environment script links back to DTM production script, in that case DTM property will always have to be active ? After Adobe grays out DTM, whjat will happen, how will this linking work? Secondly, for more development activities and testing on staging, we will be dependent on Launch command tool to run staging script on urls? Request and appreciate early response ! Thank you.

What is the best way to create personalized landing pages for our salespeople?  I'd like to provide them landing pages so they can send their existing customers to their page so they can then submit referrals to us.  UTM seems the way to go but I'm also wondering about the possibility of personalized landing pages for sales reps.  I would like to post the sales rep name, phone number and picture on each page, but I need it to be dynamic in that we have over 150 reps.  I don't want to create 150 landing pages... thanks for any advice you can give.Ed 

Hello!I've extended delivery schema with fields "utm_campaign" and "utmSource" and when I try to use them, for example populate in delivery text (for testing) they are not visible in email client but they are visible in webview. What is interesting is that this is not happening when use out of the box fields of delivery, for example "title" displays everywhere properly...So from the code below only delivery title is displayed in both email client and webview. The other two works only in webview. Hi All, I'm want to use an api for encoding in my component's jsp and in my servlet which consist some backend logic. i have added dependency in my core,ui,parent's pom file. i'm able to import the class in the servlet and other java classes. but importing same class in component jsp is giving error only a type can be imported. i have tried giving package name in exported-packages and made other possible changes. any help?

Hi All, I'm working on aem 6.3 to 6.5 in place upgrade activity. As part of this, I'm fixing the issues raised by pattern detector. I have found the below issue:  The overlay was done for customization but now the overlay is not allowed for it as mixinType is Internal (granite:InternalArea) - Defines a node as internal. Nodes classified as internal cannot be overlaid, inherited, or used directly. These nodes are meant only for internal functionality of AEM We require the customization, so is there any way to resolve it. Thanks

Which is correct. Step4:Problem Statement: Now admin creates a new Page/Site e.g. New Product Step5:When I again login with "sample" user , I can see this "New Product " Page .   Question:Is there any way to restrict this so that "sample" user  can only see Product websites , not any other created by Admin in future. Thank you in advance.     

Hello the community,   I have a trouble regarding the marketing channel analysis. All lot of my trafic is in referral even if this is in 7th postion. The 1st one is paid search (and it's seems to be ok vs GA) but the second one is Natural search and I've just few visits vs GA. This this our configuration :       When I look at workspace I have this report : - marketing channel = referral / - channel detail = google.com - search engine = unspecified   First question : How can I correct it to put in SEO and not in referral ?   Second one : 90% of my orders are assigned to refferal (with a lt of bank site and despite the internal url parameters). what can I do ?   Best regards for your help

I've created a custom workflow activity that calls an API to get exclusions of recipients.I delete the relevant records from the temporary activity schema (vars.tableName / vars.targetSchema) but the output transition still shows the previous count that was input to my custom activity. If I check the data the count is different than shown in the workflow canvas. I've tried xtk.session.write and sql to delete from the target schema. Both work to delete but none update the count.How can I delete from the temporary schema for the activity and have a correct count on the output transition?

Hi - In my organization, we are planning to set up AEM6.5. AEM 6.5 is already installed on servers A and B and application is running on both the VM's. Currently live traffic is not yet established. I need to know how to set up author in a Master-slave mode. 1) In general only A author will be running all time and in case of any author corruption, we need the standby "B author" to be able to handle live request immediately without any manual intervention.2) Also need to know how to set up A and B in sync mode..i.e..imagine i do a change in A server and same change should get auto reflected in B servers as well.. I have tried reviewing many articles over forum but nothing really answered it, please clarify!!!

I am trying to calculate New Visitors for the whole website as well as a particular page, I was thinking of using the below logic:Visit_num = 1 (New Visitor)Visit_num > 1 (Repear Visitor)But this will give me new vs. repeat for the whole website; is there a way to calculate the same for a particular page on the website, I was thinking of using Visit_page_num; but not sure if that logic would work. Would appreciate any guidance around calculating New vs. Repeat directly from data warehouse in Adobe. @gigazelle @mihnead @andrew_wathen_ @urs_boller @michaelwon @jarnorossilux2 @sessoms25
