Hi All,I am newbie to AEM and following the steps of Creating an AEM project using Eclipse IDE.Have configured Maven. But i couldn't able to create Adobe CQ archetype project.I am executing the command," mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeRepository=http://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/ -DarchetypeGroupId=com.day.jcr.vault -DarchetypeArtifactId=multimodule-content-package-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=1.0.2 -DgroupId=com.aem.community -DartifactId=echoproject -Dversion=1.0-SNAPSHOT -Dpackage=com.aem.community -DappsFolderName=myproject -DartifactName="My Project" -DcqVersion="5.6.1" -DpackageGroup="My Company" "But, it is showing error as,[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.4:generate (default-cli) on project standalone-pom: The desired archetype does not exist (com.day.jcr.vault:multimodule-content-package-archetype:1.0.2) -> [Help 1]Please help in fixing this issue.Regards,Maria Anto

Dear All,We are facing one issue related to page properties  in AEM 6.3 Touch UI.User A has locked out the page  and when User B access same page , B is able to see that Page is locked by A (lock icon on upper left of that Page).Problem: User B is still able to edit page properties of same page which is currently locked out by A.Note: 1) B is not  impersonating as user A2) in Classic UI , simply tried and Page properties option is disabled for user B , so should be case in Touch UI too.Thank you for your time and hoping to hear soon.Regards,

Hi Team,In the recent release notes it was mentioned that allowedPaths property will be supported on adaptive forms templates but when i add this property on the editable base af template(/conf/{project name}/settings/wcm/template-types/baseaf/initial/.content.xml) it's not working. Still i can see newly created editable template while creating experience-fragments and content pages. Also i have tried to add at the /conf/{project name}/settings/wcm/template-types/baseaf/.content.xml but not luck. Did anyone try this property on editable templates and how can we restrict editable templates only for forms (We are creating af, xf and page editable templates in single folder)?allowedPaths="[/content/dam/formsanddocuments(/.*)?]" AEM 6.4 Service Pack Release Notes

Hi,Typically, In any system, including AEM, the code is maintained in a source code control system, like SVN.In here code is checked in and out.But, in AEM, how could we extend this check in and out feature to the content as well?I am aware that in JCR, even code is treated on par with content.Appreciate your feedback.Thanks,Rama.

Hi all,Let us say, I have two sites, Site-1 and Site-2 and they have different purpose, layout, content, etc.I want one AEM CMS to publish to both these sites.Kindly suggest how this could be achieved.I could create components and  templates for both sites in this single AEM single CMS.But when I publish content, it publishes to a server, based on the Replication agents configured and so it publishes on to only one server.Or is it that we need to change Replication agents configuration for each of these one at a time and publish?I mean, configure it for Site-1 Publish server and publish. Hello guys, I would like to understand about the "jcr: content" node. The node creates on the page creation. Would you tell me, when the node will be deleted?I can see the page with "jcr:content" node on Author instance but the same page does not contain "jcr:content" node on Publisher instance. We are on 6.4.3, and don't see the coral3 replacement for following resource types. Is there any reference to these?1.  cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/note . 2.  granite/ui/components/foundation/section3. /libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/layouts/tabs  - We don't even see layout folder inside "/libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation"

Is it possible to use a Social component from the SCF outside of communities? Namely, we would like to extend components such as the comments component (/libs/social/commons/components/hbs/comments) to a normal AEM sites app without having to instantiate a community site project within that app. Thank you in advance!

When a campaign finishes there is a View Results option in the Audience box of the Control Panel. One of the fields in this report is Clicked Link in Webpage. Can someone clarify this column? Is it saying someone that received this campaign viewed pages on your website via this campaign? Is it the same as Clicked Link in Email?

Hi,  I am going into a rabbit hole at the moment and would love to hear some more thoughts/ideas.  A client has some traffic that showed up coming from a singular domain (allstream.com), on an old browser (Chrome 59) and a singular OS (Windows 10)  it jumped out because as you can see it is almost a flat line (there are never flat lines in analytics unless the value is zero. and Chrome 59 is like 18 months old. So I created a segment, isolated the traffic and "voila"  As you can see after December 22nd the page views, visits and unique visitors line up exactly.  Before you ask, I cannot look at IP addresses.  The client obfuscates them, but I am trying to get my hands on the server logs. They only hit the homepage, visits are less than 15 seconds, there are no campaign IDs.My questions are:What is it?For December 20th, how can there be more visits and visitors than page views?  I can't even imagine what the server call would look like for this.How can

I'm working with our Marketing team on a direct mail campaign. They are using an external site (non-makreto page) for this campaign but want to be able to recognize users who come to the page. We're trying to figure out if there is a way a lead to enter their unique ID in a short form that redirects them to a page where we know recognize them and the page can be personalized. I've seen some stuff about encoding the information but since this is direct mail I think it would make the url too long. I know it's not safe for our external site to directly access our API to be able to tokenize the page so I'm just trying to figure out if there's some combo of items where we can get this to work? Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to do an width=100% on a rich text area on a form? I want to make sure the text covers the same space as the width of the fields.
