Hi, I want to authenticate from our AEM MSRP to our Solr index instance as a security requirement. The AEM MSRP configuration page (https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-2/communities/using/msrp.html) does not provide a method for username/password injection. Is there a way to accomplish this programmatically? Thank you

Hi Folks,We are using AEM 6.2. We have enabled Communities and available only for the logged in users (members). The members profile data is stored in Salesforce. When I see Communities dashboard, groups or social activities, it displays User name, Avatar, email etc from Communities profiles. Is there a way where I can integrate member profile data with Communities profile so that all the user information like avatars etc are automatically loaded. Or is there a mechanism to import users from external system or csv file in communities? Like in AEM we can see user info under /home, for communities users info, is there any location where I can navigate?Thanks & Regards,Manish

Hi All, There are a number of countries that require double opt-in. In order to know which country the person is, we use a country field. Given the scenario the country in the country field and the country captured by the IP address are different and require different opt-ins (one single opt-in and one double opt-in) which one prevails? I would think the one captured by the country field, but wanted to hear your thoughts.Thanks!

Hey Community,  I have a wait step in my registered workflow to send a reminder on Feb 07 @ 7:30 AM but only hour increments are choices--I can't edit the time to 7:30 as we're allowed to do in other areas.  Is this by design, an instance error I need to raise to support, or what?    I did look at the docs but nothing mentioned this, unless I overlooked that which is also a possibility

I have an Enterprise account with Adobe Analytisc that requires Company Name, User Name and password to sign in. How do I convert that access to just email / password type credentials that are needed to access Adobe Marketing Cloud? When I try to use my excising email associated with my account and existing password it doesn't allow me to sign in.

Hi, I was wondering if Adobe does / could provide the capability of determining which variables reporting users have in their local reports. Example, you could see that you have 100 reporting users, eVar ABC appears in 50% of reports, prop XYZ does not appear in any reports, etc.This would provide us a perspective of what variables folks deem to be important or even if there are variables that folks are simply unaware of.Thanks!

What are best practices for authors for deleting vs. deactivating a page? If you delete a page, you lose all of the content. So what if authors wanted to bring that page back at some point? From my research, it looks like a developer can recover the deleted page if a version was created. But that isn’t the most ideal solution. If you just deactivate a page, how do you ensure you don’t accidentally reactivate the page in the future (like when you are doing a tree activation)? Do deactivated pages, that you won't want to completely delete for some reason, need to be moved to a separate folder?

Hi all,In Architectures, generally we see different layers like Presentation Layer, Business Layer, Data  Layer, etc.For AEM Applications, The UI/UX Elements like JSP/Slightly, JS, CSS form the Presentation Layer, OSGI Bundles form the Business Layer, and JCR forms the Data  Layer, I guess.Is there any diagram and more description for AEM Applications in this direction (What all layers are there, what each layer contains,  what each layer is responsible for, how the interactions take place, etc?Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

I need to create multiple instances of the same component in a loop based on how many items are in a list. This was easily accomplished in jsp's but in sightly I am not finding a way to do this. In a jsp I would do a cq:include and if the path had the same name it would append a count on the end. Below is an example of my sightly component but need some advice on how to do this correctly. We've recently started using the Ringlead web-to-lead dedupe webhook inside Marketo, and are encountering issues with duplicate creation when using the "Search for an Existing Account" feature. The issue I'm noticing is a lead that's created that matches to an existing account is immediately created on the SFDC end as a contact in the matched account with an original source of "Salesforce.com", and then a duplicate Salesforce Lead is created a few moments later once the Marketo sync catches up, but it has the correct original source of "filled out form". So while the script is technically working in matching the lead to the account, it's creating a duplicate in the process, which is obviously not ideal. I've already engaged Ringlead support on this, but I'm curious if anyone else is leveraging the Ringlead webhook AND the Search for an Existing Account feature. Have you seen a similar issue? Any suggested workarounds?Thanks in advance!

We recently launched Adobe Analytics tracking on an Android app. We set context data variables within the app, and are using processing rules in Adobe Admin to map them to the relevant variables. We're using the context data variables modularly, like puzzle pieces and doing a lot of concatenated values delimited by an underscore. For example pagename for category pages is:<<site>>_<<page_type>>_<<section>>We saw some funny values in the pagename report during QA, but I chalked it up to something weird in the dev build. When we launched the production build, we found something unexpected: a phantom page that is a significant percent of traffic and almost all entries! When you break that "_" down by any other variable, the breakdowns always show "None." Clearly that "_" is showing up like that because somewhere there is a server call with no context data variables but the processing rule is still executing. When you see that the phantom "_" page is 99.

Like the rest of Marketo ops in Europe at the moment, GDPR is VERY high on my priority list.I read an interesting article recently which indicated that it was more likely for a user to participate in a form by selecting 'yes' in a conscious opt-in when given both 'yes' and 'no' options (it makes sense to me... read it again!). So, how do I create a set of initially unticked radio buttons or alternatively a pair of connected checkboxes. I'm guessing there's a bit of CSS wizardry that this marketing ops guy jus' don't know yet. Can anyone help?

Looking for someone who has had experience in using Regular Expressions in the Classification Rule Builder.We have an eVar that is collecting the number of search results in this fashion:<Total Results>_<# of Item 1>_<# of Item 2>_<# of Item 3>_<# of Item 4>Example output would look like this:150_50_0_25_75What we've done is initially create a Regular Expression that looks like this:^(.+)\_(.+)\_(.+)\_(.+)\_(.+)$The problem is, it appears in situations where the output contains a zero in one of the slots, the value is ignored and it receives the value in the next place over.  Using the example output shown above, I would end up with values like this:$0 150_50_0_25_75$1 150$2 50$3 25$4 75$5 {null}Here's the weird part.  When I perform a test of a single record, it appears like it will work just fine, but when it actually runs in Omniture, it's not working as expected.  Here's something else I'd like to know if it's possible to address.  The five-place strin

Along the top of Touch UI dialogs are a series of buttons. I need to configure the help button (leftmost) so it points to the documentation for the component. I see that helpPath is the property name I should use according to this example from Adobe. But it's not working, and instead always points to https://www.adobe.com/go/aem6_1_docs which is not what we need.I've tried both helpPath (works in Classic UI) and helppath, but it is not working in the Touch UI. Any advice would be appreciated. Hello there, I have an iFrame on a page and I'd like to fire a click event when a user clicks on the iframe. I don't really care about putting DTM code on the iframe, I just want to fire a click event when someone simply clicks on the container div itself. I've built a rule and applied every bubbling condition and element classname possible and the most I got was a rule-fire on the very edge of the container. Does anyone know how or why this is?
