Hi,I am an AEM Developer and recently implementing Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics for one of our website. From my interaction so far with these 2 products, I can see that there is not much for a Developer to do (like creating template/component/clientlibs in AEM). At the most the developer has to include the mbox.js in the page head (or even this can be done via DTM). Rest of them are in the Target Console where Business / Admin team creates experiences and audience based upon personalisation need of the business.  Similarly for Analytics (here there can be a need to map the analytics variable with AEM page variables and creation of Data Layer) Is my understanding correct or I am missing any important role that developer has to play. 

All,I am trying to integrate a locally hosted AEM version with the marketing cloud target product. I do have the target classic account details such as client code,email-address & password. However i am landing with the 401 unauthorized error. I thought its a password issue and asked the team to reseted it but no luck after reset also. I have read the docs, one thing that i am not sure is about the target approver rights. Is it the client code created already has the target approver rights or can some one put more details on that.Thanks,Yasar

Hi All,If a page is more than versions and is there a way to know when that specific version of that page replicated pro-grammatically?I have checked in the backed and not able to see replication date of that particular version.If anyone has any idea please help me in this regard.Thanks,Kishore

I am trying to do an A/B test on our pages in Target Standard (not AEM). Creating a new activity, add two experiments (A and B) and finishing the process properly, activating it at the end. The experiments do not show up neither in preview nor on the page if I open it on CDN / origin (dispatcher) - I am getting an error in the browser console:Uncaught ReferenceError: _AT is not definedIf the activity is configured for the publisher directly, it works fine both in preview and on the page opened.So it seems that something might be blocked by the dispatcher. (One more note: targeting works properly if it is done from AEM 6.1 SP2 CFP4)Do you have any idea? Please help.Best regards, Gyorgy

Hi,I take care of Campaign marketing for Adobe eLearning products. I joined Adobe 4 months back.We are planning to move our media buys through AMO. I recently got my access to AMO and its still a black box to me :)Are there any getting started guide that I can refer to? OR can I get any support to set things ups initially and for first few campaigns before I can drive AMO by myself?We have very ambitious plans for our BU and AMO will play a huge role on this. I have developed AEM mobile apps using Adobe Phonegap and AEM - Mobile Verify apps. I have uploaded Zip file of www folder in the following path http://localhost:4502/aem/apps.html/content/mobileapps. After deploying , image is not displaying in AEM mobile verify app, but when I connected to phonegap, image is displaying. Kindly provide me solution to get the image displayed in AEM mobile verify app.  Regards,Keerthana

Recently set up a dispatcher for AEM 6.3 pre-release on Windows Server 2016.The instructions for configuration of the dispatcher on IIS at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/dispatcher/disp-install.html is missing a step where the IUSR account my be granted write access to the web site root. Granting the app pool account permission does not seem to work and results in the error "Unable to create parent directory C:\inetpub\wwwroot\<site specific stuff>: Permission denied"Looking through the history on-line this was reported back in 2013. Looks like the documentation was never updated to address this issue.

I have completed the adobe campaign to adobe analytics integration through Adobe Genesis connector so that all the segment created into analytics are being passed into campaign for remarketing through Genesis connector. Also I have created new remarketing campaign and deliveries and tag this segment with that.Now I have deleted some of the segment into analytics. Hi all,Had a question about user profile synchronization.Existing State (AEM 5.6.1):Right now we have an offline process create an XML dump of users and their custom properties and store them in a file. Everyday at 5am, we've got a scheduler running in AEM that parses that file and updates the "/profile" child node of each rep:User in AEM if a property's value has changed. If something was changed, we mark a cq:Page under the rep:User as modified and needing forward replication, to which a workflow launcher listens to. The workflow that runs then activates that rep:User node, effectively pushing the updated "/profile" child node to all publish instances. This works fine right now because "/home/users/t/test-user" is the path on author and all publishers.Future State (AEM 6.2):I could keep doing what I'm doing for 5.6.1 but wanted to see if anyone else has tried or done something differently. Hi,After installing a code package in the upgraded instance AEM 6.2(couple of author instances), seen some issue with number of services available.I have compared the services by expanding the bundle-> used services block. Same code package has been installed in both the instances, it's our custom service. I have tried to delete the bundle and then re-install it several times but no luck, because of this I'm getting many exceptions while browsing the functionalities. I've recently installed CQ 5.6 on my mac.  Whenever I connect to my company's VPN using AnyConnect Cisco, it doesn't load properly.  It will take a really long time to start up and then whenever I try to go to any page such as localhost:4502 or localhost:4502/crx/packmgr I will get an http 503 error.  Whenever I don't use the vpn, CQ tools and pages load fine, but I need to connect to the VPN because of certain security configurations for the company's website to load. Has anyone else ever had this issue with CQ and VPN?Other relevant information:Mac OS 10.11.5JDK version 7 update 80Connected to VPN using cisco any connect softwareAttached are relevant screen shots.

Hi Team,     I have a situation like need to pull a report which pages are having the DAM specific folder URLs.  I am able to pull that by using the query builder. By using the below query path=/content/*fulltext=/content/dam/*p.limit=-1 But in results, I am getting only [ {path: "****",excerpt: "",name: "small",title: "small",lastModified: "2016-10-07 18:52:43"},I wanted to add extra result field to this query. If yes how I can do it.  For example images in JCR:content stored like below. small:  {jcr:primaryType: "nt:unstructured",fileReference: "/content/dam/eahelp/articles/sports/fifa-mobile-attack-mode.jpg", I would like to get the fileRefernce property in that query .OrIs there anyway Can I get the report of DAM images which are used in the pages? Thanks In Advance 

We recently enabled MSI and the Outlook plugin for sales to "send via Marketo". We've noticed spell check option in Outlook is disabled using the MSI Outlook plugin. A native Outlook pop-up that checks spelling before sending no longer appears when sending via the MSI Outlook plugin.If sales were to send email reponses and use the Salesforce BCC method instead of MSI Outlook plugin, I'm expecting the following outcome:- Marketo generated emails will continue to appear within MSI in Salesforce- Human-generated emails sent from sales using Salesforce BCC address will appear in the Activity History (or they may need human resolution if Salesforce doesn't know the record with which to associate the email).If we are willing to live with this, are there any downsides? Are there any better alternatives?

I'm wondering if anybody has successfully implemented a single global WordPress form that customizes the download button URL to point to the individual PDF based on the page?I'm trying to implement something similar to Marketo's own Resource library (i.e. Building Effective Landing Pages ), where a prospect can fill out one form for one resource, and never have to fill out the form again when they navigate to a new resource on the same site.I've been using the "Form Embed" code, as well as using the "If Known HTML" to hide the form and show the Download button. My issue is how do I dynamically add the PDF URL to that button when I have 10 landing pages that use that same form? I have a developer that is versed in javascript and jQuery but we're struggling with the best solution for achieving this. I'm open to any solutions or best practices that somebody has used before. what is the difference between table and data table.??

We are looking at updating analytics on a page that has multiple images within a scroll module, and want to track these elements individually within a page load.We were looking at using List vars for tracking views for each individual image that appears within the module. As an example, we would use the list variable to say list1=image33, image21, image18, image83, image38, image69, image78, image4; and set 'event4=1' and define event4 as image view.We'd like more details about that image also applied for reporting, so for example the first image in the module is image33. We would like to apply context data to that stating that image is for product=tree_oak and then image 21 would have context data of product=tree_elm and so on. Can context data be applied to individual value in a list var? 

Hi,I am looking for resources/articles/advice on how to use Sass (SCSS) within AEM. Our current setup is a Maven project which we paste the CSS files into (in the /etc/designs or /etc/clientlibs folders), the SCSS files are currently in a separate repository which uses Grunt to generate the CSS. So (when developing locally) there is a bit of copying and pasting between the Sass and AEM codebases and then the project is built using Eclipse.Ideally I would like a set up within our AEM project whereby the CSS is built (but not versioned), and the SCSS files are just versioned. As a first step I am happy to have SCSS files just versioned and CSS built and also versioned.
