Quick question about the expected behavior when dealing with Salesforce Contacts attached to Accounts. Once a Contact, the Company Name field is not editable in Marketo via the Lead screen, but you can still "modify" it via the Change Data Value flow step. The change shows in the activity log, but doesn't actually modify the field value anywhere -- this is the expected behavior, right?I assume this is the case since Marketo isn't modifying the Account itself and that's where the Contact is drawing the Company Name from, but I thought it was odd that the activity log still shows it as if it changed (and it also never shows the sync correcting it afterward).Example:John Doe is a Contact in Salesforce on the "ACME" Account. In Marketo, I use a lead action to change John's Company Name to "Coca Cola." In John's activity log in Marketo, I see the lead action having executed successfully, but nowhere else on his lead fields is the change reflected. After the next sync with Salesforce, there'

I have created an email script token on the program and moved my emails under this program.I have checked the Coupons Remaining object to allow the program/email to use the data.The email script token currently reads:#set($variable = ${Renewal_Notices__cList.get(0).Coupons_Remaining__c})$variableFrom what I read on the email scripting documentation, this is all that I need to do, but when I send myself a test "$variable" is the only thing that shows up.Is there something I am missing?

Since this great ​ from ​, I started to gather around pieces of our marketing efforts to assemble a v.1 of my attribution model. I wonder how to attribute the content consumption that isn't part of any particular campaign. Scenario could look like, a lead visits our website after a tradeshow and wanders around our massive library, getting in touch of 6 pieces (2 white papers, 4 specs sheet) of content and then requests a quote (convert to MQL at this point).Choices would be:A) Each piece of content is stamped as an individual touch, in which case there could be lots of noise to analyze.B) Each type of content is stamped as type (white paper, spec sheet) of content, which reduces noise but doesn't indicate which pieces are leading to MQL.C) Content consumption session is considered as one single touch.D) [Insert your idea]I need some Community input here.Thanks as always,Simon

Has anyone had problems with IE page rendering after throwing a form into a page that uses a guided landing page template?The page renders perfectly fine without a form, but as soon as I add a form to the page, the formatting goes haywire when viewed in IE. http://ess.csa.canon.com/CSA-Look_Guided-Test.html I was able to fix this issue in a previous template by removing css from the page and calling to an external file, but that's not helping here. This template was also built in Bootstrap 3 if that matters.One thing I may try is removing all form styling from the bootstrap css file and see if that does anything? (The previous responsive template I built was coded from scratch.)Thanks in advance!S

I've seen a few different ideas and threads in the community in regards to Marketo creating global social buttons in the design studio (see idea ). Since this isn't currently possible, I was wondering if anyone has utilized creating social buttons local to one program and reused them across other programs? Obviously there'd be a lack of differentiation in reporting if the same buttons are used on various pages, but other than has anyone had any positive / negative experience with doing this?We have a large number of resources on our website that have little traffic so are balancing the need to track any social engagement we can vs. the effort/time required for creating buttons and embedding unique ones on every single resource page. We embed the social button codes on our website landing pages (not Marketo pages). Appreciate any experience or advice anyone has that has found away around this or implemented it! Thanks!

Hello,I have alreday done a FDA connection to a external database. This works fine.Now I have created  a data schema based on this FDA connection, which contains the data of the recipients.My job now ist, to create a worflow, which imports the recipients data of the external database to the customized recipients data schema.If have checked, that I have only the possibility to import data from a file into Adobe Campaing, but not directly from one data schema to the another data schema of Adobe Campaign.It this correct ?Thanks in advance.Tristan Roppel

Hi,Does anyone know when this (Next Page Flow) report will be available in AW? We've tried to do a page report with a segment "Previous page = ..." but the numbers in R&A are different (and it shows exits).AW has the flow but it does not show exits or provide a tabular option.

I'm pretty new to Adobe Analytics and really hope someone on this can clarify some questions for me. The website is a parallax website, so all the info is located on one page.I want to track:-Unique visitors -Which media channels visitors came through -Scroll depth -if a visitor clicked on more than 2 elements (so, for example, there is a section that has 5 tabs: depression, anorexia, arthritis, etc.) I would like to know which one of these tabs the visitor clicked on.- unique visitors who clicked on a link that takes them to an external website-number of visitors that downloaded a PDF.  What type of tracking will I need to measure those actions? Thank you!!

Can tokens be used in Smart List Filters?I'm specifically looking to use either the Program or Campaign tokens as a Smart List filter, but a general explanation of this feasibility would also be welcome.For example:in the "Member of Program" filter, I would like to use Program is {{program.Name}}.I know that in some instances, such as in a flow step, the token will not autocomplete with the field drop down when entered, but it will populate correctly at run time (sidebar: if anyone has a good explanation for how that works, that would also be useful). However, if I run a smart campaign after manually entering the program token above, the Smart List will return an error. Is there any way around this?

Is this possible? Marketo leads will not sync with SFDC if the state code is wrong. As a result we see the following error in the activity log."FIELD_INTEGRITY_EXCEPTION: There's a problem with this country, even though it may appear correct. "This only shows via the activity log on a lead. We have no way to know when leads aren't syncing.Is there a way to monitor for this using a smart list? Any other ways to alert users when this error occurs? Are there specific filters that pertain to the activity log?Thanks,Alex

Hello.  I'm wondering if there is a way to create a SINGLE email template where I can tell Marketo to segment the emails based on the lead owner and have the email personalize the email with the sender's photo and contact information at the bottom of the email.For example, I have 50 sales reps who collectively own 6,000 contacts.  The exact same email message needs to be sent to all contacts, but each sales rep wants their name and email address to be listed as the sender on the email and to have their name, photo and contact information listed at the bottom of the email body.  I created segments for each sales rep (segmenting by lead owner name) and created snippets for their photo and contact information.  However, where I am running into problems is I don't know how to create a single email campaign and tell it to pull all of this dynamic content for me.  As a workaround I have been cloning the original email template to create a personalized email for each sales rep which is very t

I received from Adobe Authorized Training Center Instructor an invitation for an educational institution to apply as an authorized Adobe training center. I was identified as an instructor for the parent company for which I also work. It is a requirement for instructors to provide training on Adobe products, so it is imperative that I be associated with that training center, but I have made several attempts and I have not been able to validate the application. The biggest problem is that I got some degree of assistance, but they never solved my case. Moreover, it seemed that they failed to understand my problem, as I insisted, the situation came to such a point that for days and no one responds to my emails. I feel I have not received the required attention. They sent me a questionnaire to rate the level of attendance and obviously rate them as low as possible.
