We’re putting a custom filter on our SFDC-Marketo sync to keep certain records from syncing to Marketo that we still need in SFDC. Once we activate the filter, what’s the best way to identify and delete those leads from Marketo? Can we use the “SFDC is Deleted” field to identify them? Because even though they’ll technically still be in SFDC, will Marketo think they're deleted if it can't see them? Thanks in advance!

Hello,Let's say you have a flow step with a choice 'Visited Web Page' - Are you able to say 'Contains' and put in a URL parameter in the choice? Does Marketo see the entire URL including the URL parameter or does it just see the URL alone?In the activity log I can see that a lead went to a web page, but I have to go deeper to find out what the URL parameters were on that specific activity.

I sense that my program-based nurture emails are not working -- many people are not qualifying for them. So I need to see how many people would be up for receiving certain emails prior to the run.

Hello fellow marketers -  Does anyone know if there's a way to randomize the order of the content in an engagement stream? (I did not see anything within the engagement program) I want to see if the order of the emails has any effect on the performance. Does the first email in the stream perform well because of the content? Or because of the order? Thanks!

Hi - I am working on a custom function in EXTjs..where in i am doing some field validation before submit of Page Properties Dialog. and based on a business logic I will be displaying CQ.Ext.Msg.show message to the author (Yes or No), the issue is now when the author selects Yes or No ,Also I am making a servlet call when author clicks on Yes or No,Now the question is how do I close the page properties dialog by saving all the changes made by the author if any and reload the page? Can someone please tell me how i can handle this.. Thanks in Advance!!

I’m struggling with the way that the ‘Curate Components’ feature works.Whenever I create a project and then curate the components for it, after I save it, and return to view the project again at a later date, I am no longer able to see the components that were curated to edit them.It seems that I have to re-curate every single component again, which I can forsee being quite time consuming given some of the projects I would like to create will have many segments and metrics to be curated. If I ever need to adjust those segments or add some more, I will have to start from scratch again.Has anyone got any advice for working around this ‘feature’? Is there any easier way to modify a previously curated project?

Hi, I noticed that not every user journey is being recorded in the pathing reports. While I can see the pages and other values in the respective reports from a specific user, I fail to get the full path taken by that user. What's he criteria to find a full path in the respective report?

For a lot of our pages we're now using Guided Templates because it allows for a responsive design, but I've come across an issue with adding custom HTML.  With the free-form templates we had a tool for adding custom HTML, but my understanding is that this no longer exists in guided templates.  (The available editable elements are image, form, text, video, share button, poll, referral, sweepstake and snippet.)  This poses a unique problem when trying to add a custom conversion tag to a specific page.  We can't add the conversion code to the template itself because it is intended for a specific page, whereas templates are typically intended to be used with multiple pages, hence the name template.  However, if we try to use the rich text editor and switch over to HTML mode to add code, it strips out all <script> tags and replaces them with <mce:script>, quite effectively killing anything within the tags.  Am I completely missing something here, is there a funky work-around, or

I'm not technical and I don't have in house resources, so I hope someone can help! I'm creating my email preference center and my mobile version looks really different from my template - most notably (aside from bgcolor) that nothing comes over onto mobile: no footer, logo image or anything except my form. Hello,I created a custom field (OtherEmails__c) which contains all the potential emails that a lead can have (besides its email field). Its format is: "email1@example.com; email2@example.com; email3@example.com". I'd like to get with the REST API method "Get Multiple Leads by Filter Type" all the leads that uses "email1@example.com" (either its default email field or its custom OtherEmails__c field). First of all, I don't find to do this in only one request, as the method only supports one filterType (not both email and OtherEmails__c at the same time). So I must send a first request on email and if I don't find any result I send a second one on OtherEmails__c. This is too bad but it works.My real problem is: for my second request, I don't have the full value of OtherEmails__c but only a part of it (for instance "email1@example.com; email2@example.com; email3@example.com" must match if i'm looking for "email1@example.com").Finally, my questions are: How can I use the REST API method "G

Hey guys,Need your help. It seems every time a lead is merged in Marketo and the source is SFDC, the lead is re-added to the SFDC campaigns that the original lead was a member of. So, if John Doe filled out form X and was added to the corresponding SFDC campaign, then he comes through again and is merged by MKTO, then the new merged record is added to the SFDC campaign again.I have flows that are triggered when a contact is added to a salesforce campaign. This merging behavior is causing these campaigns to trigger erroneously. Any ideas?Thanks!

If you have Marketo Sales Insight installed, which, on the Email tab shows whenever and email is sent AND you have an interesting moment for Fills Out Form, what would be the reason, if any, for ALSO syncing those two activities (Was Sent Email and Fills Out Form) to the SFDC Activity log via the SFDC Salesforce Sync options in Marketo Admin?Unless I'm missing something - it seems redundant, PLUS, Syncing Activities to SFDC uses up SFDC storage space, which, I presume, is not the case with the Marketo Sales Insight.

How to add extra column in page activity report to activate and deactivate the page

I suspect that I know the answer to this, but interested to get some clarification from the Marketo PM people. Suppose we have (as many do) behavior scoring smart campaigns triggered upon a web page visit, but with the flow-through rules set to "once per day"—upon a record's promotion to lead, will the lead run through that smart campaign once or the number of times she would have qualified had it been the normal spread of campaign flow? I've started a lead ad campaign on Facebook but I can't figure out how to automatically import those leads into Marketo. I have identified a list of leads to be deleted from our Leads database and I have their corresponding Lead ID's. I'm trying to figure out the fastest way to accomplish this. Can I create a smartlist using the Lead ID? I looked around but didn't see anything that would accomplish this.Thanks,Hank
