I have a question on clearing dispatcher cache as part of deployment.Our maven build file uses curl process to deploy to authors and publisher instances and we have bamboo for continuous integration. There are TWO options as I see it for clearing dispatcher cache...Use bamboo to trigger post-build command to clear the cache clear the cache using curl from within mavenI believe both can & will be triggered on successful deployment ONLY.Now, I need recommendations on which one is the right approachif there is a third way which is recommended, pls do let me know./Kanwal

When a user does not have rights to publish a page, he sees "Request publication" button in Touch UI editor mode.If there are assets attached to page which are in unpublished state, it will take the user to wizard where he can select the required assets and send to workflow for admin user publish request. Then returns back to the original page and shows popup "pending for activation". If there are NO assets attached to page which are in unpublished state, it will try to initiate workflow instance for the page only but does not notify anything back to the initiator. However, in the admin notification, can see a new entry for this page activation request. Debugging this shows that at some stage after finding the associated assets / references, it tries to make POST request to http://localhost:4502/bin/replicate.json which returns with "403 Forbidden". Hello,What I found odd is that there is a specific field in the opportunity that I am trying to trigger by. When I select the drop down for "trigger attribute", it is not available. However, when I type the field in directly and save, there is no red error line under the title so I am to believe it is a valid option. Does it mean that although I could not select the field, it is going to trigger off of it now?Thanks,Devraj

Hi everyone,I've created a snippet that has a "Mail Us" CTA which is just a simple "mailto:xxx@company.com." I want to add a "?subject=RE: (subject line)" to it and populate the subject line of the email the snippet is embedded in.Is there a simple way to grab the subject line of the email and add it in the "mailto:" line of code? I want to avoid making a "my token" for the SL since there this will cause a headache of multiple custom subject line tokens when multiple emails lie within the same folder or program. (for example {{my.SubjectLine}}="Welcome to the Program" would work for one email but not other emails within the folder)Is there a simple velocity script that can grab the subject line of the email it is embedded in? If anyone has an idea, that would be great.Thanks!-yonder

Hi all,My org recently discovered that, in some (but not all) of our manual List Imports of email addresses into Marketo, Marketo created the empty rows of the spreadsheet as "new leads". Has this happened to anybody else? Curious to see if this is a widespread bug or a process issue.

Hi,So, I recently started using custom tokens and stumbled upon an issue.. The tokens completely ignores my css resulting in a broken responsive design.. only the text tokens I may add.Today I am creating text / rich text tokens and puts them into a table in a snippet that is imported to my mail template, and thats were the tokens ignores my css for the table and e-mail template.Anyone who have mastered this one?Is it because I am not embedding the token with a own class in css?// jonas

I would like to, as part of my campaign framework, to use the My Tokens in my template programs as much as possible.  In some cases (such as video views, etc.) I would like to use a token to supplant the video name and the video ID code that I receive from Vidyard (our video marketing tool).  I am able to get the page and the video to render/play, but in the cases where I've inserted the token for the video URL into the Smart Campaign trigger (screenshot below) the trigger is not firing even though the URL from Vidyard matches the title I provided in the {{my.vidyard_title}} token in my program.Are there ways to work around this issue, or is it not currently possible to trigger off My Tokens? 

Can you use your own button in the "submit" area in forms 2.0? Or do you have to choose from one of the styles from Marketo? Thanks! 

Hi, I am creating an OSGI bundle from CRXDE. I am able to create bundle and use this in my component. It works. But the problem is when I have to use eternal jar (third party jar), I am getting no way to add it. I tried to create OSGI bundle to that JAR and upload in web console, its still not working. Though my OSGI bundle created successfully and installed successfully. 

Hi,We are facing a really weird issue. We have a path field configured inside a multifield component that accepts a number of details per item. One of the field is a pathfield. Now it is available OOB feature that we can drag an image from Content Finder tab on to the pathfield. It fills the field with path to the image being dragged.Now when we click on edit to edit the component, it allows dragging the image from Content Finder. Added one image like this and clicked on OK. Again clicked on edit to edit the dialog. Clicked on cancel. Now if I again try to edit the dialog by clicking on edit, it will not allow me to drag and drop an image or asset from content finder tab in any of the path field. I can now click on OK or cancel.In either case, without a page refresh, it will not allow me to again drag and drop an image from content finder.Any Suggestions or pointers how to resolve this behavior. We have several custom fields on Opportunity which we want to use for creating filter/triggers on List and Campaign in MKTO.The Primary Campaign Source is a standard lookup Campaign field on the Opportunity object. However, under the Opportunity Info page in MKTO I do not see the Campaign field. Is there a way to utilize this Campaign field on the Opportunity? I was told that this standard field should be visible and available for use in MKTO but I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

I created a custom object in Marketo to capture Software information from our CRM (Netsuite).  Unfortunately the custom object fields do not appear in a results page of a leads list if you wanted to view those values.  So, I am trying to populate one of those fields on the Lead record with the date that is in the Custom Object field.  Is this possible somehow? i tried to figure out how to use a token to do so, but i cant locate if Custom Objects have token i can use or not.  Any answers, ideas, or suggestions are welcome!Thanks,Carrie

I have a customer that is organizing a referral program. Essentially, if you submit three referrals, then you are entered into a trip to Miami.The problems are obvious - updating their own record - so what are peoples thoughts on the best way around this? Would it be to simply create some custom fields - referral #1 first name, referral #2 first name, etc - and simply map to those and then export that information? Is there a simpler way to do this?Would love to hear anyones thoughts/ideas!

Hi Everyone,I had a list of just 2 leads that I needed to add to an email list so uploaded the CSV with the 2 leads into the database. When it was done loading, it only shows one lead instead of the 2. Does anyone know what the cause of that could be?Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

I'm looking for an easier way to do this process, hopefully you can help!We have a sales team of about 300 people and want an easy way to generate a report with the following information.Initial Variables are Emails Delivered vs Opened in a Set Time Period - (Ex: Last Month)Say we send 10 emails, we want to find out how many emails each person opened.Lead 1 = 7 emails opened out of 10 deliveredLead 2 = 5 emails opened out of 10 deliveredLead 3 = 9 emails opened out of 10 deliveredWe would prefer to have this represented in a trend report or bar graph showing each sales person and the total # of emails opened vs. delivered for a given time period. It has two properties, the video file url and the url of the "poster" (“rendition” or “thumbnail”) image. The rendition technically is stored as a child node of the video in the JCR repository. So the full url to the rendition is:http://mysite.com/content/dam/mysite/resources/videos/Patient-Centered-Approach.mp4/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.thumbnail.704.405.pngThe problem is that “Patient-Centered-Approach.mp4” cannot be both a file and a folder in the dispatcher cache at the same time, so if the image is requested first then the dispatcher will create a folder named “Patient-Centered-Approach.mp4” with a sub-folder named “jcr:content” down to the PNG image.If the video is requested before the PNG then the video works, but the PNG will not (because “Patient-Centered-Approach.mp4” is a file in the ca

We have customized the OOTB blog, but retained the code in the various JSPs(for the time being) associated with the blog component. I have programatically created blog articles/posts under the blog - these have the same node structure and properties as that of the articles/posts created through the 'Add Entry' option present in the blog. However, the following piece of code, present inside the content.jsp of the blog's 'page' component(similar to that of /libs/social/blog/components/page/content.jsp)blog.isEntry()always returns false when I run the blog articles/posts that I created programatically, whereas it returns true in the articles/posts created through the 'Add Entry' option present in the blog page. I have compared the properties and node structures of both and they seem to be exact. Am I missing something when I programatically create blog entries? I cannot quite understand what exactly happens when the blog.isEntry() method is called after looking at the API documentation of

Here's something I've never encountered before: I sent an email (via Email Program) nearly 20 minutes ago, and all campaign members (~1500) are stuck in the "Send Email" state. I've sent to larger lists than this with no problems before, so I'm wondering when I should start to worry that the campaign isn't processing correctly. Does it happen regularly for anyone else?
