Hi guys,I want to implement a Use-API Java logic next to the Sightly template of my AEM component. Do you know if it is possible to debug the Java code and make Eclipse recognize the class as a Java class in order to have IDE auto completion, highlighting, etc. ?Thank you

Just to give you a little background, we use Salesforce as a CRM and we have everything synced from Marketo to SFDC.I have a special project to create a custom dynamic content Email Campaign that uses data from certain new fields (that I need to create in Marketo and feed only via Data import). The trickiest part is that I don't want  these new fields to be visible or created/ reflected in Salesforce in any way. Is that possible?What's your suggestion in this case? Can you please let me know what to do and where to look at to create thsese fields in such way?Kind regards,Mihai

Hi,I followed the documentation on https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/dispatcher/permissions-cache.html to configure the auth_checker to check the permissions. When I check the dispatcher log I see that the authentication checker is used, but the url is always called on the publish instance. Is it possible to use an external service to validate the permissions?I want to use an external service, because AEM doesn't contain the users session information.Kind regards

I'm getting a lot of requests to see if I can pull a list of people who have responded to emails.  Is this possible? If so how would I go about setting it up?

Hi guys,Our Salesforce license doesn't cover the native lead object and our work processes do not require the object at all, but we still need a lead object to be able to integrate Marketo and SFDC.The error message I get when trying to connect MTKO and SFDC indicates pretty clearly that it's possible to use a custom object as the lead object, so I've created a new object with the correct naming (I think) and given the Marketo SFDC user the necessary rights to the object.However, I keep getting the same error message:"describeSObject failed - INVALID_TYPE: sObject type 'Lead' is not supported. If you are attempting to use a custom object, be sure to append the '__c' after the entity name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names."I haven't created any fields in the object besides the standard for a new custom object.I've asked support for some documentation on using a custom object as the lead object, but haven't got any response yet.Do any of you have

I checked that cq:designPath is same in author and publish but when I am using ${currentStyle.path} to get the design path in author and publish then there is a slight difference i.e.author:/etc/designs/default/jcr:content/default-page/par-main/column-control/par-col-1/breadcrumbpublish:/etc/designs/default/jcr:content/default-page/column-control/par-col-1/breadcrumb I tried creating a new template with a new parsys say “par-main-1” but then “par-main-1” was missing in publisher.I tried to resolve the issue by trying out the following.Activating the design nodeDeleting the page and creating a new page.Deleting components and dragging and dropping the component again on the page.I checked the JSON output of currentDesign and all the values am trying to access are available there.

Between SFDC and Marketo, Can you specify which fields from Opportunity will be synched? Is that linked to the SFDC user privileges?

Hello,I created a new user in the stage environment of AEM 6.1.  Upon completion I see a notice in the Pub. column that reads, "Activation Pending. #2 in queue."  This doesn't happen in the production environment.  How can I complete the activation?Thanks, Wm

When I drag and drop the component Click_Through_Link of group  Call To Action on the page and refresh , I can see error in the console "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getElementsByTagName' of null".Why this is happening, please help .

We have a customer magazine that we release on the phone as one .article  per release, as this suits better the range of phone screens (rather than an Indesign with multiple small screen sizes)It's structured as index.html, 1.html,2.html,3.html... n.html, then into one .article fileNow we've been asked to include the "Social Sharing" feature for each article inside the .article file.When you look at it now, you can share the whole .article, but not e.g. 2.htmlI can see that the viewer creates some OS specific features when viewing a .html ("done" to go back to index.html and the title from the meta-tag in the HTML file) - would it be possible to include a Meta tag in the html file header e.g. "include sharing" so that the sharing button can be presented linking to the web viewer of the "articles article" ?

We are using cq 5.6.1, We are uploading image assets in DAM -> publishing it to scene 7.Now author will drag from S7 content finder a scene 7 image.I am able to fetch image via scene7 URL (without any preset).The same image when shown from DAM appears clear and of size 940 X 164 , image when fetched from scene7 appears blurred and of size 400 X 70,Why such compression? is there any way we can fetch original size image?

Hi Guys,Regarding 5.6.1 with no SP installedThe issue started when we changed few permission on path libs/wcm/content/siteadmin/actions/create/menu for users and on menu you could see extra spaces are coming on top and bottom.I can confirm that we have not overlay or modified for this menu under /apps.We triedReverting the permissionRestarting InstanceRaised a day care ticket but they are unable to find any thing.However, we are not able to replicate on any other instance.is there anybody who came across with similar issue?Thanks

For sites with high bounce rates, time on page metrics are misleading as the out of the box metric only calculates time on page for those that don't exit. Looking for any best practices from users who have built out a custom variable (or event) that is an alternative/additional time on page metric variable.Any and all tips are appreciated!

Each of my sales representatives has sales insight set up via outlook and are using it to monitor the open and click rates of their prospects.The sales team finds it tedious to look at each lead's record to see if they have clicked/opened an email. They would like 1 report which highlights, which prospects have actually engaged with their emails. I am looking for 1 report I can create, that will allow me to see by account or prospect name - who has click and/or opened an email sent using the Tracking functionality. Is this possible?

I’ve been working on fluid responsive emails and I found that Marketo adds a space in in the MSO comments that seems to keep Outlook from seeing the [if mso] code. I tested the same HTML in Marketo and MailChimp. The code works perfect in MailChimp, but breaks when sent through Marketo. Here is where the problem is happening (highlighted). Before Marketo: <!--[if mso]>After Marketo: <!-- [if mso]>Marketo is adding that additional space, which seems to be causing Outlook to ignore the comment instead of reading it as Outlook specific code. I tested it both ways in Litmus and that's what happens. Does anyone know how to keep Marketo from adding that space?

You email developers out there - is there a way to have buttons in separate columns aligned horizontally when the length of copy in each differs? I spent hours working on it this weekend to no avail, so I'm pretty desperate.  I've tried setting column heights in table cells and tables, stacking tables and aligning top or bottom, and a million other things. The only way I have managed to make it work (in Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013) is by putting in multiple <br /> tags to even up the lines of text. Hi All,We have requirement to have a checkbox which decides to show or hide the textfield accordingly in multicomposite custom xtypeI wrote a listener which works for only selection change but not on dialog load.Can i get any help how can we write the same listener functionality by onload listener on dialog.I tried in many ways for accessing the checkbox values but not able to get the values help me in how to fetch the checkbox values from multicomposite field.Please also find the required files attached.Thanks,Mani Kumar

We don't want to use CURL because we don't want to be impacted by Apache.Reading the documentation, I have found this :You can also stop and start AEM from the command line.
