For sites with high bounce rates, time on page metrics are misleading as the out of the box metric only calculates time on page for those that don't exit. Looking for any best practices from users who have built out a custom variable (or event) that is an alternative/additional time on page metric variable.Any and all tips are appreciated!

Each of my sales representatives has sales insight set up via outlook and are using it to monitor the open and click rates of their prospects.The sales team finds it tedious to look at each lead's record to see if they have clicked/opened an email. They would like 1 report which highlights, which prospects have actually engaged with their emails. I am looking for 1 report I can create, that will allow me to see by account or prospect name - who has click and/or opened an email sent using the Tracking functionality. Is this possible?

I’ve been working on fluid responsive emails and I found that Marketo adds a space in in the MSO comments that seems to keep Outlook from seeing the [if mso] code. I tested the same HTML in Marketo and MailChimp. The code works perfect in MailChimp, but breaks when sent through Marketo. Here is where the problem is happening (highlighted). Before Marketo: <!--[if mso]>After Marketo: <!-- [if mso]>Marketo is adding that additional space, which seems to be causing Outlook to ignore the comment instead of reading it as Outlook specific code. I tested it both ways in Litmus and that's what happens. Does anyone know how to keep Marketo from adding that space?

You email developers out there - is there a way to have buttons in separate columns aligned horizontally when the length of copy in each differs? I spent hours working on it this weekend to no avail, so I'm pretty desperate.  I've tried setting column heights in table cells and tables, stacking tables and aligning top or bottom, and a million other things. The only way I have managed to make it work (in Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013) is by putting in multiple <br /> tags to even up the lines of text. We don't want to use CURL because we don't want to be impacted by Apache.Reading the documentation, I have found this :You can also stop and start AEM from the command line. Hi everyone,I have a setup where our client has LDAP users which are imported into the repository by using the JMX calls "syncAllExternalUsers()" from "org.apache.jackrabbit.oak: External Identity Synchronization Management (UserManagement)". We have configured everything what's necessary for the LDAP sync in OSGi, like the "Apache Jackrabbit Oak Default Sync Handler", the "Apache Jackrabbit Oak External Login Module" and the "Apache Jackrabbit Oak LDAP Identity Provider".Now after importing a few thousands of users, the users received additional groups which we would like to import. I changed the Default Sync Handler's "User membership nesting depth" property to include the groups.When I execute the "syncAllExternalUsers()" again, none of the LDAP groups are created. Only when the users are deleted and created anew I also get the groups into the system. I also could not find anything like a "syncAllExternalGroups()" JMX call.Does anyone have an idea how I could get the LDAP groups int

Hello friends,I have recently made a video to promote our free web application . I uploaded the MP4 file to You-tube and copied the embed code. Can be seen on my web page (singlesdatingworld.com). After doing a site analysis I received a warning to avoid using I-frames on website as this is bad for S.E.O and my site could possibly get hacked this way. I tried using a DIV CODE I found online, but it still shows as an iframe in page source. So I wanted to know what's the best way to add this video to my homepage without using I-frames.Can I upload the MP4 file to server and use some other script or convert it to flash and use an OBJECT CODE to make this work properly?Your help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hi All,I am new to Adobe Analytics and was running some tests on a staging environment with a DTM data element for "PageName" however it will only return the default value of "Page name not found" in real time reports on dev report suite. I understand that the default value ensures that the data element always has a value, even if a URL parameter does not exist or cannot be found by dynamic tag management.Question 1: Would it return the default value if my staging environment URL does not start with the identified domain? My staging environment starts with cmsauth.domain.com instead of the www.domain.com.Question 2: Is there a series of checklist steps I can go through to identify the cause of the "Page name not found" reporting instead of the page name from the digitalData layer?Thank you for any and all help,Scott

Hi,I've been looking a way to customize Asset Finder in Touch UI based to add custom tabs for references we've created for our projects. All I could find out from out of box functionality is if we hit this URL given below from our localhost:URL : http://localhost:4502/bin/wcm/contentfinder/asset/view.html?itemResourceType=cq/gui/components/authoring/assetfinder/assetIt displays html content. And,if hit with .json extension, it displays json.So, how can we create our custom servlet which display html content on hitting with .html extension and json on hitting with .json extension.Like, on hitting above URL with .html extension, it displays image with some text properties. And, on hitting with .json, it displays properties key-value pairs.

Hi Team,Is there any issue in Touch UI, while switching from Edit mode to Preview mode? The issue is that, the page is not refreshing while switching from any of the modes.But the refresh happens when changing the modes in Classic UI from Edit to Preview and Vice versa.Can anyone let me know, Whether this is an issue in Touch UI or its the normal behavior in Touch UI.Thanks,Ratna Kumar.
