Hi,in my website every request sets and/or uses a JSESSIONID cookie. Now this indicates to the caching server that a request should be handled by the publisher instance, skipping the cache.I'm pretty sure I don't need any sessions (yet). However, I cannot seem to get rid of it.Do you have any idea, where the session is coming from?RegardsMike

I have a dialog that has radio buttons on it. It is simple to make a preset set of options. So if each radio button indicates product brand for the author. Say the company has the following five brands, A,B,C,D,E.If these brands change very rarely then it is reasonable to hard code in the 5 produces as 5 radio buttons.However, what if I have the list of brands returning to me from an ajax call to a servlett calling a rest api.Now I am asked to make the radio button selection dynamic, and to always show the current range of brands returned from my rest api call.Now I know that my example is not necessarily what one would use in production, and there would be problems if brands disappear off the list and so on.I am just using it as an example because I think it shows what I am asking in a simple example.I have searched for answers but I keep going down a rabbit hole. But in the form data[in the mobile screenshot in article] that we are filling in, there is nowhere we are specifying the information location, where the data is to be stored. So, I am a bit confused here.Any thoughts on this will be helpful.

Hi,Here the use case from Geometerixx media from 5.6.1.When an admin logs in, he should be able to see complete site structure. How can I add custom reports into a dashboard?  Is this possible?

I have a component that includes quite a bit of CSS and JavaScript only used for this specific component. Therefore I only want to include the CSS and JavaScript on pages where the component is used. How can I accomplish this?I had hoped that this was somehow possible with the clientlib functionality, but I've been unable to find an example of this. It appears to be all or nothing when adding a clientlib folder within the component?I could include the CSS and JavaScript in the .html used for specifying the layout of the component, but I'd really like for the CSS to be included in the header and the JavaScript at the bottom of the page. Doing it this way would include the CSS and JavaScript in the middle of the page where the component is used.

Hello is it possible to automate the Add to Watch List? As in when a new record gets created or a new Task record gets created, we create a new workflow or global action to call on Add to Watch List? We don't want the users to have to manually add their records to the watch list. Instead we would like to automate this.I know we can add the Add to Watch List button on the List View and there is a VF page and Apex Class component but as these are managed I am not able to see and get more details...Would like to know how I can automatically add records to the users' Watch List.Also on the Marketo tab, there are few tabs on the MSI page: Web Activity, Anonymous Activity, Watch List, Best Bets...Is there a way to create a custom Visual force page so we only display the Watch List? We don't want to display the Best Bets and other tabs...

Hi,We have a requirement where we want to inherit the existing design from one template to another. For example I have a Template A for which I created a design and associated that page with this design (by going into Page properties and setting the design). Now I create a new page Template say Template B where I give resourceSuperType  as Template A page component path in the component properties.Now when we created a new page using Template B, the list of component defined in Template A design won't appear in sidekick whereas If the template definition exist under etc\design\default\TemplateA\jcr:content\par it worked.The purpose for this is to define the list of components in single design at parentBase Template (like wise Template A)  so that it can be used across multiple sites \ brands.Thanks in advance.

We have identified two key segments for our audience. For one of these segments, we would like to display a custom footer on every email message. This seems like an ideal use case for snippets: one segment gets the standard footer, and the other gets the custom footer.Is there a way to "hard-code" the footer snippet into an email template? In other words, can I add a code to the template to define "footer snippet goes here" just like I would define an editable section or insert a token?Right now, it appears the only solution is to create an editable section and then manually set that section to use a snippet with each send.Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a form where I set the display value to be different than the stored value. Once I save the form and test on the webpage, the value is missing completely from the dropdown menu (both display and stored values). Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a work around?

Is there, will there be, or is there a way to request an option to convert the card title case (e.g. uppercase, lower case, sentence case, capitalized, title case)?  We are using a very simple design w/ the card consisting of (about) the top 80% being image and the bottom 20% being the short or long title (depending on phone or tablet layout).  Right now, we have to make sure to enter them in all capital letters, which is an extra step.  Also, if we want to change our style guide later, we would have to do so manually...which would be large undertaking for us as we are generating 30 or so pieces of content per month.Thanks so much for your time and considered response.r

I'd like to know from which pages a certain pdf was downloaded, but I can't seem to get at this by breaking down the file downloaded by the page or vice versa. The pageName is passed in the image request. I don't understand why I can't get at this. I hope I'm just being stupid, but please shout out if you know.Thanks.
