Demo version of DPSI have a project that originally had one article in the default collection.The article was a converted HTML page using the HTML article packager.The Preflight app worked and I was able to see that article.After changing the entire project and clicking the update Preflight button, it will not update.The project image finally update about 2 days later. However, the original article is still there and all other collections / articles are not.I have went as far as deleting the original article and it still shows.From what I have read you can't delete a project to start over.So how do i get it to update?Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Preview mode doesnt function exactly like in 5.6, doesnt referesh the page once clicked on preview mode, and even the content doesnt render unless manually refreshed.Has anything changed from 5.6. Is there an alternative to this.

Hi All, I have a question about Marketo landing pages and I'll try to explain it as clearly as possible; I hope it'll make sense in the end! Namely, I created a LP (let's call it LP1) with a form for an event sign up, however, I forgot to link it to the event in GoToWebinar and you can only do this once there aren't any members in the group (and when I noticed it was too late, as we've already had sign ups.) Anyway, putting this aside, I created a new LP2 with a form that was nicely integrated with GoToWebinar. Unfortunately, some emails had already gone out with the link to the previous LP1 which means that the registrations don't show in GoToWebinar (I've filled them out manually). My question is, is there a way to redirect one link to another LP in Marketo? So that, even if someone has a link to LP1 it will redirect them to LP2?Hope this makes sense! Any suggestions would be great.Thanks in advance!Joanna

I performed an in-place test upgrade of my 6.0 Author and Publish servers (two separate servers with the standard ports of 4502 and 4503 respectively) to 6.1.  We were already on the new crx3 instead of crx2 since the 6.0 servers were brand new.  The Author server did just fine, all my content is there.  However, my Publish server seems to have wiped out all the content, dam, and apps - it did leave the custom map.publish script in place as well as custom packages, so it didn't appear to completely wipe out the old installation.  I tried the upgrade first by renaming the AEM_6.1_Quickstart file to cq5-publish-p4503 (the same as the old jar file) with this result.  Then I brought up another clone of the server and did the command line upgrade (java -jar aem_6.1_quickstart -r publish) with the same result.  The Upgrade log files show that it was performing an upgrade and not a fresh install.  As we have 3 large websites and don't want to have to push all those pages and images from Autho

Hello,My company just migrated from classic to the new workflow. In Test & Target, I was able to set up a redirect offer with parameters: www.mysite.com would redirect to www.mysite.com?parameter=valueThe new workflow doesn't allow me to add the ?parameter=value when creating a redirect offer or redirect experience action. Is this supposed to be this way? If so, this is a huge part of what we do as a company.I have two questions:1. I see all of our classic campaigns are imported into Target. When I edit them, it takes me to Test & Target. Will I still be able to access these campaigns in the months/years to come? 2. If I can access the old campaigns, via Test and Target, the above scenario about URL parameters still works. If that goes away, how can I redirect to a URL with parameters? Thanks!

We have a dialog to select pages or assets from the content tree using the xtype pathfield. The purpose of the selection is to create a link on a page. Since assets are saved with the extensions, and pages aren’t, the link correctly directs the user to the assets, but not to the pages (because the page url doesn’t have the HTML extension).  These are the solutions we considered so far::1 - linkPattern property in the dialog, to automatically append the HTML extension to the selected node. The problem is that it is also applied to assets, resulting in a wrong path (e.g. /content/dam/mysite/photo.jpg.html).2 - Rewrite URL for page requests, using Apache (/content/mysite/home -> /content/mysite/home.html). It would fix the problem, but since we have a shared environment, we try to avoid  any solutions that may affect other sites.3 - Using https://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/mappings-for-resource-resolution.html. I noticed that new alt images that I have uploaded into scene7 are not displaying. This is only happening for the ones I uploaded this week. Other alt images uploaded before this week are ok.I have reviewed the images themselves and can find nothing wrong. My site is still displaying the alts from before this week, which leads me to believe this may be a scene7 issue.Is anyone else encountering this? Or have a fix?Thank you,Jessi

Hi,I have a java project. Which is using some 3rd party jar files. Dependencies for those jar files not available. I want to integrate that java project into AEM. How to convert those 3rd party jar files into bundles and how to import them in my AEM project?

Please share "How-To's", and ideas on the best ways to implement the following functionality- A component that is able to walk-through the pages of any AEM site that it's pointed to, (maybe walking a list of sites), and verify that one or more "required" components exist on every page on each site.- Another component that is able to check for the existence of a given analytics tag on every AEM page, and then update the page or template, and add the tag if it's not already on the page. I'd want the second component to be mandated for use on every page, and I believe there is a way to have it added to every template, and then lock it down with an ACL, so that it can't be removed. I also believe there is a way to have "required component" included, as "boilerplate", so that they are on every template by default, but due to my limited experience, I'm not sure if this is the best way to achieve this, (i.e. best practice). Hi All,Good Morning....I created one rte plugin and incorporated on RTE(rich text) dialog,am able to add data in RTE using my rte plugin but displaying it is removing href from the anchor tag.Stpep:Once select the 'Chat icon Links'  from the dialog,it is opening textbox and entering the "Chat Now" value.I see the value in RTE editor "<a href="javascript:void();">Chat Now</a> througn firebug but while selecting 'OK' button from the main dialog it is displaying data"Chat Now" but it is not contain hfef attribute.i see the below value through firebug :<a>Chat Now</a>. How to restrict not to change data from the RTE editor?Can you please suggest me or share me any code snippet?Thanks in advance. Thanks,Venkatesham G

Ive Attached two examples of what I'm trying to accomplish.  The ATL Hawks and The New Yorker, both of which I am wanting Elements/Functions from.
Is there a way to have a Rotating banner at the top and the built-in icons at the bottom with out having it set up as entitlement? and how would I go about that?My purpose to have the rotating banner at the top is to showcase new products which link to collections or articles.ATL Hawks APP, they have a tab that is clickable to nav to other pages and a rotating banner above. How did they accomplish that?Thanks,

Is there a rule somewhere that says banners will always fill the width of the screen?Here's what's happening:I have a 12 column layout. I want a 6x2 card to pull a banner that will link to a website. I have designed an ad at a 6:2 ratio and uploaded it as my banner image. I have created a card at 6x2 (full image) and card mapped it to pull my banner and the 6x2 card. For some crazy reason it is cropping the banner to 2 rows tall but it spans the entire width (12 columns). I can go in and change the card to all different widths and it doesn't change anything in my collection layout. It seems like a bug to me, but I can't do anything to fix it. Have tried logging out of preflight and the portal. Help!!
