I'm sure this has been discussed before, but how can we understand what devices people are opening emails on, whether it's mobile vs desktop, or specifics on email clients?

We are looking to create a new user group, should have only read access to all the sites (/content/*) and that group should also have the permission to annotate on page. Can we achieve this with out edit permission? 

Hoping someone has some suggestions for me. I am a design educator. I have been working with students to create digital magazines, and until CC 2015 they were able to use the Adobe content viewer and show their working magazines in Adobe Content viewer. If I am understanding things correctly, the only way students creating a digital magazine in CC 2015 can show them working in their portfolio is to purchase a full license of Digital Publishing Solutions(after they have built and learned about it with their 30 day trial) because folios are not a part of CC 2015. Students aren't going to be able to afford a full license. So are they just out of luck to share a functioning version of what they have learned after working in CC 2015? This was an excellent feature/possibility with the previous versions and the folio builder.Thanks

Product Design Team:Please allow me to add my segmentations into separate folders of my choosing.I have several segmentations that  I build for content/research and I would like to group them as I feel fit.I have to continue to search for the segmentations on the topic that I need. It would be beneficial to create a folder structure such as prospects or articles where I can place those group of segments. In Adobe Insight now called Workbench I can easily put my segmentations and metrics into folders.Thank you.MJS

How does searching based on tags work in AEM? Or in other words, how does tagging pages or assets bring them them up as results of a search operation - how is this implemented?Was playing around with the foundation Search component and it seems searching with any tag (even container tags) forming part of the tagId would return pages associated with that tagID as a search result.For e.g. if a page is tagged with tagID /etc/tags/tagNamespace/tagA/tabB/tagC, then doing a search with either 'tagA', tagB or tagC returns this page as a search result.Is this search behavior likely to change if there's any change in the index configurations or the search platform itself is changed (e.g. using solr instead of lucene)?Any insight here would be much appreciated. Hi all,Maxime Wynsberghe​​ and I have observed a very weird behavior today : an engagement program that had been built  months ago for internal training purpose suddenly has started to send a cast to about 2000 people. The issue is that the email were absolutely not intended to be sent (ugly, full of false Latin text...) and the 2000 people are real leads.The problem is: these people have never been added to the Engagement program. The "Was added to engagement program" smart list only shows the small set to 8 people who were added to the EP during the training, while the activity log of the 2000 other people show the EP cast, but absolutely NO "added to engagement program" activity.We have of course opened a support ticket.But just a warning : never let an engagement program active with some cast schedule if it has no purpose.Has any one already experienced such an issue ?-Greg

I have a form that I need to be able to reject an asset. I see the code in the javascript to approve an asset. Is there a servlet that handles the rejection of an asset? If I change so that the JSON string contains "rejected" instead of "accepted", the server responds with an error that the field "accepted" does not exist. What would the URL to a servlet that would handle the rejection be?

I am trying to create a velocity scripting table that is able to add the total amount of what a person purchased. I am able to pull all the Custom Object data in, but have not successfully added multiple variables. I did find the $math.add( object1, object2 ) function but have been unable to render correctly the $transaction.price if the user has multiple transactions. Has anyone had success adding multiple variables in Velocity Scripting? Is there a way to get better link reporting on MSI emails other than individually making a smart list for each of the links?I also had some issues when I added the link as a constraint to the Clicked Link in Sales Email filter (had to rely on IM description for some numbers).Thank you

I need to read a key value pair (Stored in Excel) in one of the OSGi service.I am thinking of three approaches:Store the Excel under Resources for Osgi bundle , and read the Excel using :File file = File.createTempFile("test",".xls");contentStream=class.getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("TextExcel");  outputStream = new FileOutputStream(file);         IOUtils.copy(contentStream, outputStream); And then Parse the Excel to get the Value 2  Similar approach like 1 but store it as XML  and Parse it 3 Convert these Key Value Pairs (Excel) in to JCR Node Structure (It will be about 150 nodes) and then parse the node. I feel option 1, 2 can consume relatively less number of operations than traversing the JCR nodes. What should be the right approach for this?

In older CQ instance, we can set trust_credentials_attribute in crx-quickstart\repository\repository.xml for authentication.In AEM 6, repository.xml is gone, is there anyone know how to configure it in AEM 6. Backgroud: In my project, it used trust_credentials_attribute for custom authentication(extends AbstractAuthenticationHandler), now project migrated to AEM 6, it doesn't work now, because there is no trust_credentials_attribute Thanks a lot in advanced.Kelvin

We have configured Dynamic Media for Videos and Images by adding the cloud configuration and setting up the Dynamic Media Replication Agent.  We are getting errors in our logs about FFmpeg(com.day.cq.dam.video.FFMpegTranscodeProcess Could not find ffmpeg's executable).  There are steps in the out of the box DAM Update Asset workflow that use this.  Do we need to install FFmpeg?I also ran across this help documentation: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/content/assets/video-transcoder.html that has you update the DAM Update Asset Workflow, install cq-s7dam-video-core-1.0.jar, etc.  Should these steps be followed if you are using Dynamic Media or is the out of the box DAM Update Asset workflow sufficient?

We are using a "First Name" token in a welcome email to new signups on our website. Our signup form has a First Name field, but it is not required. Therefore, if someone does not put a value in that field when they signup, we will not have a first name value to include in the welcome email. Therefore we need to set a default value. We want to set our default value as [nothing] (so it would show up in an email as "Hello,"). However, when this happens, Marketo is not removing the blank space between "Hello" and the FirstName token value (so it shows up as "Hello ,"). Does anyone know how we can remove this blank space, or will we have to make-do with it? Thanks in advance! Andrea

Hi everyone,I have complete project in AEM and one of the component/content has Registration and login functionality where Registration has multiple steps on each page to next page data persist to data base.If you move this component/content to DPS 2015 using AEM and DPS integration and publish to DPS. Will the Registration functionality works as it is? Are there any changes needs to be done on DPS? Since DPS content is on cloud and once it pushed to mobile app how will the calls to back-end server will happen? If i use javascript to make a call it will be cross domain calls which i dont think correct way of doing. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks for your help..Regards,Vamshi

We are starting a new campaign and we are utilizing podcasts as a major tent pole of the campaign.The podcasts will be general content that would be useful tips for anyone from our current clients to prospects or individuals who have no interest in making a purchase decision, but are still part of the industry we serve. Essentially, these will be the 'gateway' into further interest into our lead nurturing campaign. However, these podcasts will have several segments (approximately 5 minute segments) into the episode, and then we will re-purpose these individual segments as an ICYMI part of the campaign as a lead moves through the pipeline. If you use podcasts, how do you typically integrate them so they get a wide audience? We have thought about using a video hosting service for these as we know of a provider that can integrate video content and lead scoring/analytics on video content, and we figured this might be the best tool for podcasts (i.e. we'd have the audio only over an title c

Hi,  We have an existing iOS app that we are now creating a Windows 10 UAP version of and i'm looking to add the same lifecycle metrics to it.I've followed the instructions as follows: - Downloaded the Windows 10 UAP SDK and added a reference to it to my project - Downloaded 'ADBMobileConfig.json' and added it to the project. No need to configure it further as it is the same one as the iOS app. - Added the appropriate calls to 'ADBMobile.Config.CollectLifecycleData()' in App.xaml.cs - Enabled debugging ( ADBMobile.Config.SetDebugLogging(true);) so i can view what is being loggedThe app compiles and runs and CollectLifecycleData is being called but the only results on the website are for iOS. I am creating a form that has expandable fields and allows page breaks within content.  That is not a problem.  However, the fields will not all fit on one page.  Fields one-sic are on the first page with the remainder and the signature block on the second page.  When the fields on the first page expand beyond the page limits it does not "keep with next" with fields that are located on the second page. How do you create a multipage form with pages linked to "keep with next"
