Hi all, I'm a beginner for AEM and I'm currently following the the AEM Back-end Developer video training. In one of the lessons, when I try to deploy the maven project to the crx lite, I got an error: [ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin:2.0.2:compile (default-compile) on project company-core: Compilation failure [ERROR] C:Usersguanlun.muDesktopvideoTrainingcompanycompany-coresrcmainjavacomadobe rainingcoreCleanupServiceImpl.java:[44,65] error: cannot find symbol The code I used was directly copy-pasted from the student file downloaded from the course so the code should be identical to the one in the video. But I got this error and the video person didn't, I'm wondering what this problem is and how to fix it. My guess is this may relate to some Maven version issue, but I'm not sure.

Greetings, We are creating site where we are making different ajax calls from a solitary page. We have to track result each of these calls with omniture. There are diverse occasions and eVars characterized in omniture. We are confronting an issue with the way omniture javascript works. There is a capacity s_gi(accountId) that we are getting back to get back an item to which we set every one of the properties. The issue is that, once we call s_gi(accountId), all the resulting calls give back the same properties article, holding all the information that is set already. We have to set new arrangement of properties inevitably. Is there an approach to do this with omniture javascript? e.g. On the off chance that we need to set "event1" for ajax call1, and "event2" for ajax call2, we are accomplishing something like this. We just released a new version of our Android app and are seeing about 30% of our devices generating a new unique visitor and visit for every tracking call. This is significantly inflating our visit count and making our conversion rates incorrect.I found a device that was tracking this way and ran it through a Charles proxy. Each call is being duplicated. The first one appears to be redirecting and inserting two variables into the url: g=none&pccr=true. I am pretty sure that the insertion of the pccr value is causing the increment to visits and visitors, but I can't figure out why it is redirecting and being added in.Has anyone else seen this type of tracking?

My client recently switched over to heartbeat video tracking, however, there was not documentation regarding no the existing parameters would translate into heartbeat or the types of server calls, the number of server calls, the parameters inside the server call.  If one is testing for validation what are you testing with there's no expected behavior/values?

Hi all,Need some help, I've been following https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/whitepapers/redirects/redir_jump.html to allow us to track a link in an email which goes to a 3rd party however I've hit a brick wall with customer care!The above article states to contact Customer Care and provide them with the jump page content and domains for whitelist which I did and was all fine and was told it was implemented, however when I've gone to try and implement exit link redirects it won't work and now client care is telling me that i need consulting services to deal with this. When I do a break down my screen resolution of 1366 x 768 by Browser Width - Bucketed I am seeing 2-3% of my traffic fall into the 1500 to 1599 bucket.  Any clue how this possible?  Looking at Device Type of Other only (assumed to be desktop). 

We have a component (conditionsContainer) that is only ever used by embedding it in other components.  We would like to disable the context menu for this conditionsContainer component, so that it cannot be removed.  Currently, we prohibit deletion of the conditionsContainer component with the use of a beforedelete event listener that returns false.  For obvious UX reasons, however, we would like to remove the ability to click delete.  Using the edit bar (which can be customized without a delete button) is not an option.How can this be achieved?

A monthly email is sent to each of our clients. I'd like to track how many of these emails a client has opened, in the form of a single field that keeps a running tally of the total number of these emails they have opened. I will then use this field value for segmenting leads. Has anyone done something similar to this?

My company is considering a switch to Salesforce.com. We've used Marketo for 3 years so I'm familiar with Marketo. What I'm not familiar with is what I need to consider if and when we make the move to Salesforce.com. I've come across a few resources, but thought I'd ask the community... What planning needs to be completed before implementing Salesforce and Marketo? How long does said planning typically take? I'm sure it varies, but what's the average?What other resources and considerations would you suggest?Any advice would be much appreciated!

Guys, I am facing the issues in author environment while including the 'ui-view' in the html to achieve the routing concept. parsys are not displaying properly and in the design mode, edit option is not coming for parsys component. I use the Folio Builder to create presentations, then have users log into the Adobe Content Viewer on their iPads to download and present.  I never actually publish the presentations, just use the Content Viewer.  Is there a similar "free" solution to do this same thing with the new DPS 2015?  I don't want to publish anything and spend ridiculous amounts of money, just continue to use a free viewer.

In the past my sales reps have been able to preview emails sent from the sales insight section of a leads record, simply by clicking on the subject line in the email tab. All of a sudden they are no longer able to do so. When they click on an email subject line they are prompted to log into Marketo, and they don't have Marketo accounts, nor have they ever. I think it might have something to do with our API hitting it's limit  last week, which caused us to reset our Marketo user's password in Salesforce and also reset our sync token in Marketo. Has anyone experienced this? How did you fix it? Thanks!!

Hi Guys,In our project, we are migrating from Teamsite to AEM6.1. We identified all the components and templates from Teamsite CMS and now we are going to create very basic page level component under apps. Our approach:We first took the Teamsite page and reviewed the page using import site option(http://localhost:4502/etc/importers/site.html) for look and feel of page in CQ(We cant edit those fields). It has created the sample templates, components and clientlibs for that page--> By using this, we have created new project and copied those templates, components, and created new page from siteadmin using that template(which created from site importer) and given cq:designPath - etc/design/xxx(created one from site importer).Now the question: We cannot edit/make any changes in that page because that is only done through site importer. Now how we can make as editable components in that created page.If this is not the approach, Please suggest what else other approach we can follow.Thanks,

I'm trying to set up progressive profiling in forms 2.0 - we had successfully done this in the old forms but I want to set the order of the progressive fields and it does not seem like we are able to do so. For example, first visit show 1,2,3 and then second visit show 4,5,6.... In fact, right now, all fields are showing up from the get-go. Any help? Tried searching the community but it's terrible now - impossible to find any information in here. Thanks!

In order to view the full list of forms in design studio, it says I must export the list.  However, I can't seem to find where I am able to export this list.  Am I missing something?

We set up a Marketo landing page containing a list of about 18 links to presentations from a seminar. The seminar registration was set up in a non-Marketo system, and the email sent out as a follow-up to the event was sent out through that non-Marketo system. It drives attendees to this page of presentation links so they can review the information post-event. Now the customer would like to know how many people clicked each of these 18 links. They don't need specific information on the IP the people are coming from, just a total number of clicks per link. What's the best way to get this data? The email has already been sent out (a few days ago), so triggered campaigns won't help.

Why does a AEM 6.1 MSRP needs SOLR along with MongoDB ? Is SOLR a default search provider for MSRP based communities? Is it mandatory to configure SOLR or Can OOTB OAK-Lucerne used for search? How the MSRP can work along other search providers ?

HI All,I am facing an issue to integrate AEM 6.1 with OKTA SSO. I provide following configuration in OKTA end. 1) SP URL, 2) NameIDFormat - "urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:transient" rest of the configurations are default.In AEM end I provide following information, 1) IDP URL (OKTA URL), 2) Service Provider Entity ID, 3) Create trust store by supplying the password & then upload the IdP certificate 4) Create KeyStore by supplying the password 5) Rest of the configuration I did as per the "http://www.aemstuff.com/blogs/july/saml.html" URL. But when I am trying to execute the AEM I am getting "com.adobe.granite.auth.saml.SamlAuthenticationHandler Private key of SP not provided: Cannot sign Authn request" warning and the screen is blinking continuously. I may have to provide public or private key, but I am not sure who will provide that key and where I have to import that. Could you please help me on this issue?ThanksTridib
