Hello All,In my current project, I am installing AEM 6.0 with Java 1.8. I have also installed service pack 1 and service pack 2. But after I do a maven build successfully, when I try to load the page it always fails and shows the following error.Initially, it worked fine but later I don't know why it started failing.com.day.cq.wcm.tags.IncludeTag Error while executing script body-section-header.jsporg.apache.sling.api.scripting.ScriptEvaluationException: org.apache.sling.scripting.jsp.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP: An error occurred at line: 38 in the generated java fileOnly a type can be imported. 

Hello newbe here,I am trying to create a brand new Phonegap app and insert in the pages some of the components I have just created. So basically I am working over the project Bruce Lefebvre made in this page: https://github.com/blefebvre/aem-phonegap-starter-kitI have been able to run this app in my iOS emulator and everything seems to work fine, but when I add my components (which are using some external libraries like jQuery and PathFinding.js ) seems to be like the libraries are not being loaded.So that is basically my problem, how can I set the libraries in order to get them loaded when the app runs? PD: The way I indicate the libraries in my *.jsp files is by adding this line <cq:includeClientLib categories="jquery"/>PD2: I am able to load the libraries and making everything work fine at the author instance, loading the pages directly from Chrome.

It looks like after I promoted the launch of a 2nd version of a homepage. I wasn't able to switch back and forth between what I launched and the production version.I couldn't find any documentation to support this. Thanks for anyone's help in advance,

Hi, I am not able to word and power point documents publish to scene7.  Is these two documents are supported by Scene7 Publishing ? If it support what is the mime type it should be. I am trying it on AEM 6 with SP2. When upload word document it is having asset type as application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document. But when i am trying to publish to scene7 it saying Unsuported Scene7 Asset Type. Same case with Powerpoint also.The Mime type for Power point is -application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation Thanks,Manikanta.

I am using maven JSPC plugin for making sure that JSP's are error free before installing in to CQ instance. While i am trying to run it is throwing a error that it could not find libs/foundation/global.jsp. It's not a best practice to save global.jsp locally or including libs in the build.Can anyone say what can be a workaround for this? How can i use global.jsp for successful compilation?

Hi All We are trying to execute handlebar templates via a Script Engine Inside AEM. This Handlebar Execution needs to done using the Rhino Script Engine as we don't want to go to with Java based execution in order to be flexible in future to replace handlebars with any other client side templating language. I am able to load the Rhino script Engine successfully and also able to evaluate the handlebar.js file using the engine. Can someone explain me how to configure dispatcher

I am having a debate with the placement of homepage nodes and would like some insight.Typical AEM convention is to use the parent node as a homepage. Example:/content/mySite/enYou would simply run en through an HTML rendered and pull up en.html.We have been talking about placing a node within their to act as the homepage./content/mySite/en/index.htmlThis follows a more traditional model, but isn't used in AEM from what I can tell. Can anyone break down the pros and cons of going with this format? So far we are just thinking it may be easier for content authors, but I feel there will be more configuration on the dispatcher/web server so that www.mySite.com pulls up that content node by default.Thoughts?

Hi All,Need your help resolving this issue which is quite a blocker for us to upgrade from CQ5.6 to AEM6.We have written a custom connector of DocumentNodeStoreService using "Two-way SSL + x509" to establish the connection between AEM6 and MongoDB.We can able to make connection but our AEM6 content is not getting loaded into mongodb whereas, I can see the connection is established and service is started without any error.Please let me know if you need any more details for further investigationAny help will be highly appreciated

This question might be slightly confusing but here we go. In this questions we have two components. The first component is a container component consisting of a single column, single row table with a parsys in the cell and optional headers, hereinafter referred to as Container Component.The second component is a custom table component we have created, hereinafter referred to as Table Component. The author chooses how many columns and rows the table contains and the component creates the HTML using these variables. Each cell contains a single parsys that allows the author to drag any other component into it, RTE for example. When the Table Component is added to the Container Component using the parsys, the Edit Config bar of the Container Component immediately begins increasing its pixel width forever. No other component makes the Container do this and adding the Table Component to other component's parsys does not give the same results.The Container Component outlined code can be seen

Can we have Router/Mongos and one of MongoDB Primary Server on Same box where AEM Publish is installed considering box is very high capacity in terms memory and CPU.Question2.  Mongos/Router i believe is very lightweight not actual Database store like Mongo DB primary or secondary?Question3. if we install AEM with MongoMK with no clustering just like AEM with TarMK..Can we apply clustering in future on Mongo DB to leverage replication feature of MongoDB?Regards,Chandra

Hi ,we are encountering an issue when we are building one project .The issue is when we run Maven Build through Jenkin it was expected to deploy to Author and publish environments.This is to build to multiple environments and we have 4 environments when we try to run the build it successfully uploaded the packages in 3 environments where as for one particular environment it throws error and package was not getting uploaded.If we restart Sling eventing bundle and re-run the build it gets loaded fine.But it is not a solution to restart sling eventing bundle every time.Below is the error snippet we got.Any help would be highly appreciated.[WARN] HttpMethodDirector - Preemptive authentication requested but no default proxy credentials available [ERROR] Missing response status information in response: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <html> <head> <title>Content modified /crx/packmgr/service.jsp</title> </head> <body> <h1>Content modifie

Template allowedPaths  is deprecated? I have installed 3 author clusters on a single mongoDB. The activation process takes long than a TAR MK author. When I checked the logs in debug mode , lucene indexing was going on. Will lucene indexing slow down the publishing process?

The problem is that all information are saved inside an array (called: modifications). As I understand JS code drived by Mozilla Rhino => JS code has full access to all services(example: java.lang.System.exit).I can create a new page (example: /blabla/i-am-hidden-url) and write simple JS controller: java.lang.System.exit(0); (yesss. it work)  If I make request to:  /blabla/i-am-hidden-url server will shutdown. I think - AEM should block "dangerous"(not only java.lang.System.exit) API in JS. JS should only prepare/convert data before rendering. Thank you
