Hi,We are using the RTE image plugin. The problem is when we drag a new image from the DAM into the RTE and hit activate everything inside the RTE gets activated except the new DAM image we just dragged into the RTE. I notice that when you add an image into the RTE editor it creates an image tag inside the RTE. What I would like to know is how do we auto activate this newly added image as well. chris 

When I am trying to create a OSGI bundle, let's say I miss a jar or two. But how can I make sure it gets updated in the Manifest file? or Do I have to delte this project & start over?Just FYI - I am not using Maven, I am using Eclipse.

Hi   I am new to CQ 5.6. Previously I was working with 5.4 . I could understand that the feature for manuscripts is a new additional feature added in AEM. I am really unaware of its functinality. If anyone can guide me with some tutorial about how to work with manuscripts in CQ it would have been very helpful. I have read http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/5-6/media-publisher/mp-articles.html#Creating and Assigning Manuscripts this and was able to create a manuscript. But I dont understand How to use it? Where to use it? What's it's exact functionality?     How the manuscripts are included in the page? Exactly for what purpose do we use them? Hi,CQ has amaizing Link Checker service that does something similar already. E.g. it finds all the links on a page and checks whether they are valid. That's exactly what is needed, what service is it using underneath to find the links on a page ?Is there a service that returns all the page path references found on a page. ?Thanks,Peter

All,we're running 5.6.1. I've started CQ by renaming my jar files:1) cq5-author-45022) cq5-publish-4503I have a servletfilter that checks the runmode you're in using this way:System.getProperty("sling.run.modes") However, when I just run the Author from the quickstart jar, this returns null. When I run Author in debug mode it works fine.When I run Publish from the quickstart.jar it also runs fine (returns publish). The strange thing is, when I check in the felix console xxx//system/console/status-slingsettings I do see in all cases the correct runmode displayed.Anyone any idea? Or tips to help debug.

What I'm trying to do is migrate assets into a CQ instance from a WordPress website using an automation suite, Kapow Katalyst, that handles all the grunt work of filling out individual sling post action forms for each content item. Originally I was lead to believe that simply posting the file to the monitored node specified in workflows (/content/dam(.*/)renditions/original) would be enough to make CQ handle the rest of the work of populating the metadata. Hi friends,   I have few questions in CQ5.Please look at the listed below and suggest me the solutions.      1.Default "Create and Update request" action is not working in my newly created site,but in Geometrixx is working fine.I have implemented this action as they did in geometrixx.I dont know what is the problem am not getting the created user in users list.I think may be the problem is with access privileges or not??? .For "Store content" action its working good user informations are saved as node under usergenerated folder.Have one question over there,after the info got saved as node for each user, how can i retrieve that user information and displays it in webpage ?    2.For column control component, how i can get the layout list under layout dropdown.I have done it through CSS but no use..Thanks in advance

Is there a limit to how many other groups can be members of a Group?Is it not possible to add an AD-based group to another AD-based Group?Yesterday I added an AD-based group that I created as a member of another group which already included the default 'Contributors' group (through the 'Users' module in the 'Groups' tab- not through CRX), Saved, and permissions were granted to members of that group as expected.Today when I logged back in, the AD-based group that I added yesterday was gone, but the original 'Contributors' group was still there. The permissions for members of this group were obviously impacted and I'm trying to trouble-shoot why my edits from yesterday didn't last...

Hello there,My client has the requirement where, on occasion, local content should be "rolled up" to the blueprint, for roll OUT to the other Live Copies of the blueprint.  For example, if there is an event happening at the local level that they want surfaced at the global level.  Is there a way to accomplish this in AEM?  Launches don't go to the blueprint level, so that won't work, and you can't copy the page to the blueprint (circular reference).  Any other potential ways to accomplish this?Thanks in advance.

From Adobe CQ5 help http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-cq/using/creating-cq-bundles-consume-web.html, I noticed that we can use OSGi bundle to consume 3rd party webservice. Please let me know whether the same solution mentioned in the link works for Adobe CQ 5.4 version. If not, please provide me the link for consuming webservice in Adobe CQ 5.4    

I have page and few page properties associated with it ( Smart image). When a user uploads an image from site admin it is getting stored as nt:file. To avoid this condition I am trying to hide the page properties from site admin. So user can access the page properties  from side kick after opening the page . Is there any setting by which I can achieve this Thanks
