Hello ,            Does sharepoint connector support for AEM 5.6.1 ? i have gone through this is site http://dev.day.com/docs/en/crx/connectors/sharepoint/current.html . I have tried  to  package share and downloaded and  installed crx2sharepoint-crx21-2.0.2.zip  file .  BUut as per document  it is said that sharepoint connector should display in home/welcome page.Please let me know the correct does sharepoint connector support AEM 5.6.1  and if its support then let me know the exact process. Thanks,

I need to find a way to either create a single sign-on (preferred) or a way to share/pass user credentials between an Adobe Publish site and an AEM site (same domain). Hi friends, Since last month am working in CQ5.I have used content loader in cq5.4 to upload the xml as node structure in JCR repository.When doing this i came to know that the content loader supports only CQ Support XMLs not DITA XML.So i want to know the procedure to convert the XML to CQ XML.Please provide me a solution. Thanks in advance

Can anybody suggest me i want use adobe drive to store images and i want to access the images for my cq5.4 instance..I want to integrate drive to the cq5.4 dam for ignoring the dam burden on cq5 instance repository.. Is it possible to use this drive? or is there any other way i can achieve my task? Thanks,Sony C.

Hi,I'm using AEM 5.6.1 and I've followed the instructions on http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/aem-how-tos/development/how-to-build-aem-projects-using-apache-maven.html.I'm trying to get my JSPs to compile as the "content" project of my multi-module project. Because some of my JSPs reference /libs/foundation/global.jsp, I had to include that file in the compilation. And because one of my JSPs overrides one of the /libs/foundations/components JSPs, I had to include that, too, which of course introduced a bunch of additional dependencies that I needed to resolve.I painstakingly added the necessary dependencies to the pom.xml file, attempting to build each time and using the "depfind" feature to figure out which one to add every time I got a compilation error that a particular class could not be resolved. Hi,I copied over a website from a co-worker to my CQ instance (5.6.2 I think) and I have the problem that I can neither see the client context (+ shortcut doesn't do anything), nor does the component work that I'm supposed to fix. It shows up in the list but when I drag it onto the page it doesn't show up (it does appear as a JCR node though). Not sure if these problems are even related but I know that both things work on my colleagues machine. I realize you guys can probably not help me without further information, but could you tell me a general approach in AEM to tackle these kind of things? Like on machine A it works, on machine B it doesn't. Is there some kind of logs or console etc. I should check? Hi,I wanted to know is there any limit on the size to put into any String[] Array as a property into Adobe CRX for any given node?I have a requirement for adding large number of data as String[] array as Multivalue for one property in crx.I am getting exception and suspect that this is because CQ is not supporting so many data in a single property?Can you please suggest?Thanks.

Hi,I have 1 custom metadata, named 'Corporate users' , it has 3 check boxes  shown in the screen shot[img]checkbox.PNG[/img].I have added 1 property, allowBlanks=false. I am planning to have 2 check box groups here. 1st group will contain , only 1 check box and next group will contain remaining 2 check boxes. My requirement is that, if I check the check box from group 1, it will disable check boxes of group2 and vice versa. Please suggest.Thanks,Debal Das

Scaffolding is a great way to provide a way for end user to create predefined pages like for instance, news pages.Now suppose you have created your scaffold with just 2 fields:titlecontentYou put the scaffold in production and it is used heavily by the end users, to create news pages. Unfortunately after a while your business user is like, 'I want to add a category as well'. Np, let's just change the scaffold and template to provide this functionality :-).Question here is, what does this mean for the already created content (pages)? Is there a way to regenerate the created pages. What is the way to go here?Next to that I wonder if it would be more interesting to create a more dynamic component that just renders the data in stead of create real pages using scaffolding.Any thougths on this, anybody?

How can I get a user's id etc. by its email address in CQ 5.6.1 or up?

I'm having a heck of a time with JSPs not being recompiled after I edit them, and it seems to be getting worse over the last couple weeks. I've had some success with modifying the lastModified date of the JSP, but today even that is not working. I also looked at the lastModified date on the .java and .class files in /var/classes, and I see that they are incorrect - they're several hours in the future. Is there a different clock being use for those that I can check? Is there something beside the lastModified date I can tweak?

HelloWe are migrating AEM5.3 to 5.6.1.We manage customized tags outside /etc/tags like /content/metadata.It works fine in AEM5.3 when we set tagsBasePath:/content/metadata in CQ taggingg.TagInputField. But it does not work in AEM5.6.1.Can you please how to make it work in AEM5.6.1 without moving this customized tags to /etc/tags?Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to build a phonegap application using this guide: http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/mobile/phonegap_integration.html (using CQ5.6.1).I'm a total newbie, only having finished sys-admin and developer training last week, and having only a few days of CQ experience under my belt.Unfortunately the guide above seems to be slightly out of date (for 5.6.1) and I've not successfully built a phonegap app.Some of the instructions are not quite clear, e.g.which node should the phonegap-exportTemplate property be set on?how do I create and configure a config.xml file?I think I've reproduced the configuration from teh guide using geometrixx-outdoors-mobile, contentsync and Phonegap Build.The symptom that's manifesting that the Phonegap Build complains that there is no index.html file.I've inspected the ZIP produced by content sync and the JCR /content/geometrixx-outdoors-mobile, /etc/designs/geometrixx-outdoors trees are there as well as a manifest that specifies 'indexPage

The other components from the Social Communities are available except that one. Checking in CRXDE under /libs/social/plugins/facebook we weren't able to find the component code as well.We're using CQ5.6.

Hi We have been trying to customize parsys component but we would like to know if someone is having some idea on the same and is able to help.We are trying to extend the OOTB parsys to create our own customized parsys which :-1. Can have a separate markup generation of its own.2. Have a dialog in EDIT mode which is able to govern the column control feature from there and we don't have to use a column control OOTB.3. Design dialog remains the same.4. Conventionally what happens is when a new component is dragged-dropped on to the parsys, the blank parsys area shifts down and more components can be added.What we also want is an option to control the new parsys generation so that we are able to limit the number of components allowed on the parsys. For e.g. if we set this limit to one then we can at most drop one component into the parsys after which it must not allow any other component to be added there. Kindly help if someone has already work on these customizations.
