Hi,We recently upgraded our CQ 5.6.1 to AEM 6.1 with Mongo DB.  Our upgraded AEM 6.1 is throwing the "Missing Authentication Service" error.  The error.log file is saying that a blob could not be found and a call was issued to shut down the repository.  How do we delete the blob Id in Mongo DB (assuming that's where it is getting the Id and complaining that the blob could not be found in the file system at crx-quickstart/repository/repository/datastore)?  Thanks in advance.

There are cq(cq, data-path, data-config) Tags that appear on the page(Qui correspont un composant) also . I would like to know how can tone remove them, wenn when I publish a page.

Hi,I have in my local version of cq5 a thread that runs every minute, checks a queue and executes a task. It works fine.I need now to export it in my production environment.The production has a slave and a master therefore i need to execute my code only in the master.@Properties({ @Property(name="scheduler.runOn", value="LEADER"), @Property(name="scheduler.expression", value="0 * * * * ?"), @Property(name="scheduler.concurrent",boolValue=false) })My bundle is in production and with the system console i can see the process.The first instruction of this process is a print to the error.log but if i inspect the log of the master and the slave i can't see nothing.This is my logger:protected final Logger log = LoggerFactory.getLogger(this.getClass());Could it be that the log is redirected to another file?I think that this process isn't started. How can i verify it?Need i a procedure to refresh the quartz scheduler? Thanks

We have a custom component "Thumbnail with RichText Title". In the component we have image component and we are required to add two custom fields - one for image alignment (dropdown with values as left and right) and other field is size (33% or 50%).I have created the node structure and able to get the fields in the component.Could anyone please guide me with the next steps to be followed for the alignment and size field to work on the component.Thanks in advance,Swathi.

I followed the instructions to upgrade my author instance 5.6 to 6.1 (https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/deploy/upgrade.html).When I finished, I launched AEM, but couldn't do anything, all I have is this blank page saying Authentication Failed.However, I am getting HTTP ERROR: 503 error with Authentication Failed. Hi for migration project . I extracted the zip files in content/dam/dcl/migration now I need to move the extracted  files  in jcr-content add metadata using xml file, create versions, etc..I am having difficult time traversing the jcr:content. to accomplish the move this is  a gatekeeper class in my workflow launcher.resource - is dam/dcl/migration..i have attached the screen shot of the node structure i need to traverse.Please help me this is an urgent issue that needs to be fixed.

Hi,If a user is part of multiple groups (e.g. authors, approvers, admin) and these groups have overlapping permissions in the sense that approvers can have all authors' permissions as well as some additional permissions, will that user have the maximum or minimum of these different permission sets ?Is there any documentation around this ?We're on AEM 6.1Thanks,Abhishek

i18n Translation is working via instances but not through dispatcher. Say when we translate it through qlexrcq5pub001.lex.lexmark.com:4502/libs/cq/i18n/translator.html.It is working fine. But when translate through dispatcher URL https://webauthor-qa.lexmark.com/libs/cq/i18n/translator.html the change is not reflecting. 

HelloWe are migrating from 5.6.1 to 6.1 server.We have configured 3rd party webservices for profiles.These webservices work perfectly fine with 5.6.1 but seem to give a performance issue on 6.1 and we get a delayed response(about more than a minute to respond) while saving profile records.There is no change in the webservice code with regards to migration.Is there any configuration I need to change as part of 6.1 while might help avoid this issue.Not sure on the root cause for this delay.Logs have not been too helpful either.Thanks,Sonali.

It's simply not in the list.Can anyone please suggest why that might be the case? I've added my T&T Cloud Service connection and that seems to be working as expected.

We have this strange problem.  We had a flush cache replication agent on the author. It was disabled. But the associated job queue still accumulate a lot of job, these job obviously failed, and they seem to retry again and again.Here's a log entry:10.04.2015 00:00:29.640 *ERROR* [pool-6-thread-18-com/day/cq/replication/job/flush_dispn1(com/day/cq/replication/job/flush_dispn1)] com.day.cq.replication.impl.AgentManagerImpl Job contains agent which is not started: flush_dispn1. waiting ReplicationJob{event=org.osgi.service.event.Event [topic=com/day/cq/replication/job/flush_dispn1]}Now, since it's unused, we tried deleting the replication agent, but the queue stays there, and jobs still append to it.  What can we do to get rid of this?Thanks.

Please share if any sync issue / limitation on number of users that can be synced from LDAP into AEM ,  profile sync possibly for personalization Alternatively also thinking about loading custom client context querying the LDAP after OOTB authentication without any user sync to restrict large number user node creation and later LDAP sync up / stale issuesPossible end user profiles more than 10K end user & their attributesFrom my POV , not syncing the profile and loading custom client context would be a better option , Please share your thoughts?

Hi all,I've customised a login function for my website. The signout function will set user to be anonymous and reload the page. But when I logout from a Closed User Group enabled page, it redirects to 404 page not found because anonymous does not have the right to see the CUG page. How can I redirect the page to homepage after sign out? I have tried window.location.replace('/') and window.location.href('/content/mywebsite/home.html')but this will redirect me to 403 Forbidden page.The only function that can work is window.location="<URL>" but I do not want to hardcode the website URL. I'm pretty new to AEM.We have an existing web app which currently extracts content 'fragments' from Sitefinity using REST calls. Fragments might be snippets of HTML, raw text, images, and so on.AEM has become our strategic CMS platform and we want to provide the same capability but use AEM to serve the content.I have seen that one can send a HTTP request to a content node and it will return basic details about that node (I guess resource is a better term since its is essentially a RESTful GET request). I note that I can ask that the response is sent in html, json and text formats.My question is, rather than information about the jcr node, what is the best way to return [say] the actual rendered fragment associated with that resource/node (not sure if I'm using appropriate terminology here) ?What if I wanted to retrieve the same content but as JSON ?kind regardsFraser

Hi,    When I create a page using Page Manager ,page will be created with properties "cq:template" and "sling:resourceType" .Resource type will be obtained anyway with the template we are gng to pass as a parameter while creating the page. Can I create a page without "sling:resourceType" property .So that if I change the resource type of the template in the future ,that doesn't effect  my content ? (I have lot pages .I cant change the resource type of each if template is changed) Thanks,Krishna

we have DAM assets loading(attached screenshot) on the author and does not show the image.....it was a old issue in cq 5.3 and i had to restart this bundle to fix it....   "Day Communique 5 Workflow Consolecom.day.cq.workflow.cq-workflow-console"We are experiencing same issue on CQ 5.5, anyone know how to fix this?

Can anyone tell me why http://localhost:4502/ works perfectly fine but http://127.0.0.1:4502/ fails to authenticate? This is causing authentication issues with a json response in an http request to a specific IP in test.  At first I thought there was a header issue, but quickly found out I can't even log in to my local using my local IP so it must be something else, any ideas much appreciated.

Hi,we have forgot password link in app wherein we need to retrieve the original password and mail the password in plan text to the end user.user password is stored in encrypted format in CRX (/home/users/), so is there any CQ / Sling API to decrypt the password? OR is there any other way to implement the forgot / reset password in app? thanks.

Hi,I have a requirement wherein I need to search for article pages of a specific type under 6 different paths. The pages belonging to 6 different paths are of same type in a way that they are using same template. Their respective parent pages are also using the same template but they differ based on specific custom page property that we are setting. The detailed pages are further characterized by custom page properties. So based on these custom page properties and latest replication date I have to select one article each(making it a total 6 article pages) among all the article pages that belong to 6 different paths. What is the best way possible ? Using QueryBuilder API or fetching the pages using the listChildren method and then tweaking the list to remove the unwanted selections. Also, could you please explain the reason as well.Edit: Is it possible to restrict the number of results returned by QueryBuilder API.Thanks in advance,Ankit Chandrawat
