Hi there,I've been curious for a while now about the exit links report and how this works with multi-tab browsing. My question is - if an external (exit) link click opens a new window or tab, is this counted as an exit (as technically you remain on the site in another tab) - or would I have to create a custom exit links variable to track this?ThanksToby

I have a scenario that eVar has to be persisted to next page. But i am not sure how to configure eVar, event and use it for my scenario. Here is the detail1. I have calcualtePage, user has the ability to enter values and choose whether netpay or cross pay and they can click calculate button [ here i want to capture Calculate button click along with netpay or corsspay selection]. After user click calculate, this will lead to another page called record2. In Record page user can click record button. This will save calculated value. [ here i need to capture record button click].The requirement is how many time user click calculate button and choose netpay or crosspay ( I was able to achieve that, calculate click is pagename and netpay or crosspay is stored in prop29). Another requirement is how many time user click record button and list based on netpay or cross pay( here netpay or cross pay is in previous screen, so i was thinking i can set eVar29 = crosspay or netpay in previous screen a

Hey everyone. The organization I work for is interested in tracking impressions through s.products. We've got a pretty successful system set up, and it works, but the values in s.products get to be so long (mostly because they want the page title included in he merchandising eVar). I was wondering if anyone had any advice or examples on how to implement dynamic variables with the products variable and a merchandising eVar. 1. I am wondering if the IAB bot rules enabled within Adobe Analytics already include known paid monitoring services like Gomez or Catchpoint? I know you have to pay to see this list, but generally is it all bots/services or just the malicious ones?2. The "Bots" report - Does this show a combination of bots that I have identified and blocked AND they are on the IAB's list?For example, we use Gomez and are not currently blocking their IP addresses. I do not see "Gomez" listed in my Bots report. Can I assume that it's not included on the IAB list? Thanks!Cristine

How can I do data sampling by list of web IDs? That is, I want to look at the whole web browsing history of a few selected web visitors (or customers) in a period of time (i.e., in last two years). Can I do this in any Adobe Analytics tools? Data Warehouse or Reports or anything else?Thanks!Yude 

We recently upgraded our implementation on a mobile device and saw the parameters for custom variables had changed.  For events, the parameter now appears to be action.  Also wasn't sure how you would differentiate a sProp or eVar that had the same parameter label.  

I'm hopeful someone can help me out with an email I received from sc_alerts@omniture.com . It is labeled Adobe Marketing Cloud alert notification. I need to find out where this alert is coming from and what the alert is monitoring. I don't have any login information and trying to contact anyone at Adobe has been completely impossible to get access or information. Does anyone know where I can start looking to dig up this alert and potentially our account?

Hi,I have been looking in the previous page report and just want to clarify. Does the report only count pages that occurred immediately before the selected page, or does it count pages that occurred at any point prior to the selected page being viewed: i.e.If a user takes the path:Home >> Product >> CheckoutUsing "Checkout" as our base would "Home" be counted as a previous page, or would it only include "Product" which came immediately before??Thanks Toby

    Hi there,I have the following problem. I want to send a scheduled report using "Extract Data" method. Now everything works fine, until I send a file larger than 1 MB, then it automatically sends the .csv file within a .zip file. Although I have not checked the "Send report as a compressed file (.zip)". Does someone know a way to achieve my goal here? I only want the raw data, so no graphs or anything in it.Kind regards,Michael

I know the formula for the same is%New Visits = Total number of New Visits / Total VisitsBut I'm not able to find out metrics "Total number of New Visits" to create a calculated metric for %NV. Hi, I am noticing difference in numbers between Oracle Database with SiteCatalyst Conversion Funnel report. To be more clear, for example: Step 1: DB has 44 but SC funnel has 48 counts. SC numbers are more than DB data.Final Step: But successful counts in funnel report data is matching perfectly with database. I know the above are related to general query but any help on this much appreciated. Thanks,Prateesh

Hello,We utilize a SiteCatalyst v15 global suite to analyze numerous subsets of pages or microsites. There is a global s_vi cookie and a microsite cookie where applicable. Given that all data is combined it seems to be a challenge determining the number of visits to purchase as the visit counts are provided by the global cookie and not the microsite cookie. Note: We also have a custom evar and prop that captures "New" vs "Repeat" as a value on each page view.I have configured a Page Hit segment of the microsite to isolate activity for these pages only.Microsite ToyMarket (HIT)Hit – MicroSite Property (evar##) equals ToyMarketI then utilize the the Visit Number Report found under Visitor Retention. This above approach seems to provide the results I seek but am not certain of the accuracy as the microsite cookie is not used to capture visit counts in a global suite.

I was wondering if the previous page parameter has any impact in reporting if they are passed under the link type request.  I already know this doesn't impact pages reporting but not sure with this.  The current implementation passes this parameter on both the page and click request which may potentially chase inflated activity.

Hi,I'm very new to Omniture so this may be a very simple question, but I don't see how to do it currently. I have a Yearly report broken down for a specific Tracking code that gives me metrics Broken down by Product Category on my site. I'm looking to have that report go one level lower and I'm not certain how to keep all the data in one report. I want the metrics filtered by Tracking Code (i already have this)    Broken down by Category (I have this, and I can get product name, but I can't get them BOTH in one report)         Then Category broken down by product name.**The reason I am looking for this is because I want to download the full report into excel and do data analysis with it via pivot tables etc.**  I'm also unsure how to download multiple pages in one excel document. i.e. If my report goes into multiple pages, when I click the download icon at the top of Omniture it only downloads the information visible on the current page and doesn't download ALL OF MY DATA.If anyone can

Hi,I have recently been tasked with installing/setting up Adobe Report Builder on several machines, most of which are Dummy Terminals/Thin Clients that point to our Citrix environment. The installation is fine, I just run the EXE with a /S at the end to do it all silently, no problems there.However I want to limit who can use this tool since not all our users need it, we use Appsense to provision shortcuts, or registry keys etc. In this case however, the registry item for this is just installed to HKLM and not HKCU. I have tried migrating it over but to no avail, is there a way to do this? What we want is by use of an AD group, we can add users who need access to this tool and not have to use extra resources/processing for our other users who use Citrix for their work.Any help you can offer would be appreciated.Kind regards,Ambrish

I am able to log into site catalyst, and the initial screen loads. But after a few moments I am logged out of the app. Has any one encountered this before/have tips for how to fix it?

I am reporting on approximately 180 pages and I need to export the URL's along with the Friendly Page Names.  Is there a way to pull this data, other than visiting each FPN one by one?
