Hello,We utilize a SiteCatalyst v15 global suite to analyze numerous subsets of pages or microsites. There is a global s_vi cookie and a microsite cookie where applicable. Given that all data is combined it seems to be a challenge determining the number of visits to purchase as the visit counts are provided by the global cookie and not the microsite cookie. Note: We also have a custom evar and prop that captures "New" vs "Repeat" as a value on each page view.I have configured a Page Hit segment of the microsite to isolate activity for these pages only.Microsite ToyMarket (HIT)Hit – MicroSite Property (evar##) equals ToyMarketI then utilize the the Visit Number Report found under Visitor Retention. This above approach seems to provide the results I seek but am not certain of the accuracy as the microsite cookie is not used to capture visit counts in a global suite.

I was wondering if the previous page parameter has any impact in reporting if they are passed under the link type request.  I already know this doesn't impact pages reporting but not sure with this.  The current implementation passes this parameter on both the page and click request which may potentially chase inflated activity.

Hi,I'm very new to Omniture so this may be a very simple question, but I don't see how to do it currently. I have a Yearly report broken down for a specific Tracking code that gives me metrics Broken down by Product Category on my site. I'm looking to have that report go one level lower and I'm not certain how to keep all the data in one report. I want the metrics filtered by Tracking Code (i already have this)    Broken down by Category (I have this, and I can get product name, but I can't get them BOTH in one report)         Then Category broken down by product name.**The reason I am looking for this is because I want to download the full report into excel and do data analysis with it via pivot tables etc.**  I'm also unsure how to download multiple pages in one excel document. i.e. If my report goes into multiple pages, when I click the download icon at the top of Omniture it only downloads the information visible on the current page and doesn't download ALL OF MY DATA.If anyone can

Hi,I have recently been tasked with installing/setting up Adobe Report Builder on several machines, most of which are Dummy Terminals/Thin Clients that point to our Citrix environment. The installation is fine, I just run the EXE with a /S at the end to do it all silently, no problems there.However I want to limit who can use this tool since not all our users need it, we use Appsense to provision shortcuts, or registry keys etc. In this case however, the registry item for this is just installed to HKLM and not HKCU. I have tried migrating it over but to no avail, is there a way to do this? What we want is by use of an AD group, we can add users who need access to this tool and not have to use extra resources/processing for our other users who use Citrix for their work.Any help you can offer would be appreciated.Kind regards,Ambrish

I am able to log into site catalyst, and the initial screen loads. But after a few moments I am logged out of the app. Has any one encountered this before/have tips for how to fix it?

I am reporting on approximately 180 pages and I need to export the URL's along with the Friendly Page Names.  Is there a way to pull this data, other than visiting each FPN one by one?

Is there a way to track whether or not visitors are disabling third party cookies?

Hello,I would like to build a segment that shows me only the pages coming from paid traffic. Let's say that I run a Pages -> report and then I filter the following page www.mysite.com/redflowers, so I end up with the visits only to this page.And now, what kind of segment should I build in order to see only the paid traffic to this page? I tried to use a segment that says "search keyword exist" but it doesnt work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi All,I'm new to Omniture and am struggling with a page path report - I'd like to see which individual pages (vs. Site Sections) are most popular entries to our site from the collection of PPC landing pages which constitute Site Section = Landing Page.Is it possible to configure a report that incorporates the Paths/Site Sections/Next Site Sections Flow report & the Paths/Pages/Next Page Flow report? Maybe I'm losing my mind, but didn't there use to be an uber-report called "Site Totals" or "Overview" in the Site Metrics section of reports?It contained a very important (to me) metric that I haven't been able to replace or replicate:  average time per visit.I have tried using Total Seconds divided by Visits divided by 60 from the Key Metrics report, but the number I come up with is really different from what I used to get.  For many months, the "Site Totals" report gave me consistent visit lengths of about six and a half minutes, but Total Seconds divided by Visits divided by 60 is resulting in four and a half minutes.  (I went back to older data to check).If anybody knows where that other "average time per visit" metric went to, I'd love to know.  This client will not be happy about being told that suddenly SiteCatalyst is calculating things differently.

Does anyone know about this issue and whether Adobe Analytics is impacted, resulting in an inflated average time spent calculation?

Hello,I grouped several pages in different segments, so that when I am running a "Pages Report" I can use one of these segments and see the statistics only from specific pages that I defined before.So let's say that I sell clothes, then when I want to see the statistics from the pages belong to "shoes" I run the segment "shoes". And same for "t-shirts" "jackets" etc.Now I am wondering if it is possible somehow to compare these segments. Can I run a report and see the statistics of these segments grouped all together? So my wish would be to have something like:Jackets: visits 123456T-shirts: visits 123456Shoes: visits 123456 Thanks, I hope I made myself clear!

Is there a way to get a report that shows the number of unique page names seen over the period of the report.I know I can do a pages report and then 'go to page' 10000 at the end of the report to find the last page that has a recorded page view by it's number in the list.but is there a way to get this number via a report? Not the number of page views but the number of pages with the page view metric attributed to them.

In the Name Pages section of the Admin console please provide an option to search for the URL in question. Use case: I need to find url www.ddd.yyy.co.uk  to alter the page name.  There is no way to find this other than clicking through an unknown number of pages.Please also provide the ability sort by each of the columns, to jump to a particular page number, and display more than 50 URLS.It would also be helpful to understand how the URLs are listed.  They don't appear to be in alphabetical order, or order of popularity.

I work for a bank and security is a major concern. We are currently using a cname on Adobe's collection servers (e.g. stats.bank.com) in order to have Adobe serve first party cookies on the bank.com domain. Our security council now says we shouldn't provide Adobe with a new SSL cert for stats.bank.com because it is too risky and if stats.bank.com is compromised and someone attacks our customers then we our liable due to it being our brand and all the cookie data is exposed as well as leaving customers open to malware attacks. Hi, I have a question. Does adobe analytics understand automatically where the paid traffic come from? I mean if I dont add any parameter in the URL, does it understand automatically if the paid traffic come from Google, Bing and so on?

I scoping to create a list var for values filtered by.  Ex. the list var tag would capture "Mens,T-Shirts,Small,Blue" and write each one in as a value.  I plan to setup a classification within the list var to group together gender,department,size,color.Am I able to break down sections of the the classification?In the example above, could i break down Gender by Department to correlate the two together?
