Right now, I have a field in Salesforce which references a 13-digit SFDC ID for my sales rep. I created a formula field in Marketo to translate those fields into human readable-names and would like to include them in emails for personalization, but keep running into errors where batch emails can't process the formula.I realize the standard answer to this is to make different Smart Lists/emails, but I have 16 sales reps and this would be quite cumbersome. Is there any way to either have the IDs translate by Marketo in a more native manner or be able to deploy the name display in a batch email?

I have a question regarding what goes into Marketo's email open rate.  Is the open rate based on someone clicking "display images" in the email? Or is the open rate also based on someone opening the email and NOT clicking "display images" in the email?   I am thinking that if they dont do that then Marketo doesnt know they opened it.  If someone knows either way, it would be great information to have! I'm trying to pull down via the API the original source url for leads.  I'm using the getLead() API call, but it doesn't return all of the lead attributes.  It doesn;t seem to return the marketo automated fields at all.  Is there a way to pull this information out using the API?Thanks!

I’m hoping someone might be able to help me figure out how to accomplish some things with a repeating table subform in a form I’m building.  I’ve attached the file here.  https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=2nUNZuTf2T4tsdSykMTlXwI have a table (AssessChart1Table) it set up on pg 7 (Analysis) and have built in buttons(AddRowAssesChart1 and DeleteRowAssesChart1) so the user can add or delete additional rows of data as needed.  The problem is that the user also enters data going across in the header row (AssessChart1HeaderRow1) of this table.  There are 10 columns available; however, they may need to add more data than that. Therefore, I made a button (AddMoreCourses) for the user to click to add another instance of the table subform (AssessEvalChart1) and also undo the adding of the subform with this button (UndoAddMoreCourses).In addition, I have it setup that whatever data the user enters into the cell (Prog-DeptObjChart1) cell of that table gets automatically transfe

We have set up some smart campaigns to track when a person (1) visits a particular page on our site and (2) fills out the embeded form on that page of the site.Since we have not acitivated our embeded forms, the only thing being tracked, at the moment, is the number of page views where the form exists.Any suggestions for resetting this smart campaign to track the web page visits once the embeded form is pushed live and that smart campaign becomes active?Do you forsee any issues with just deactivating it and then activating it again? Will this reset the tracking on this smart campaign?My goal is to accurately reflect web page visits along side embeded form fills in analytics to see a percentage comparison of the two.

I was trying to delete some leads from SFDC but keep them in Marketo.  When deleting from SFDC, during the category : "delete from Marketo", I put "false", as directed.  But it still deleted them in Marketo.  What should I have done differently?

People of Marketoville, please help me!I have a form that needs a picklist. The picklist already exists in Salesforce.com and is already in use on our English language forms. Now I need to translate that picklist to French for a form that will appear on a French language landing page.However, I want the French fields to correlate to the English picklist back in Salesforce.So, for example, you come to our website in English and fill out the English language form, selecting your "Role" from a list that inlcudes: C-Level/Executive,Director,Manager/Team Lead,Other,Student,SVP/VP,Analyst ... and that correlates to the same field in Salesforce.com.But if you come to our website in French and fill out the French language form, you'd "sélectionnez votre fonction" from a list that includes: dirigeant, directeur, responsable, autre, étudiant, vice-président, technicien. I want those roles, which are direct translations of the English, to come back to Salesforce.com in English

Hi,we have noticed lately that each time we are creating a smart campaign and want to add a filter on it (e.g. filled out any form + is member of smart campaign), the smart campaign doesn't show up in the drop down list. We have to log out and log in again to see smart campaign in search or we are to force selection and manually type the full campaign name.Has anybody experienced same issue?Note: the campaign does exist. we are not maybe typos in selection. when we manual force name, the trigger campaign or report are working.Cécile @ Talend

Hi,I would like to use Munchkin tracking code on a second domain. I have already installed it on our primary website and it is working fine. But, when I use it and test it on another domain, I do not see tracking results in Marketo.Has anyone else tried using the same tracking code on multiple domains. If so, how? i have around 5k leads in my database with "junk" country names which i can't get rid of by data value change, b/c Marketo does not allow me to substitute an old value with a new "empty" oneis there a way to substitute country name with inferred country value?

I can't seem to find this info on the Marketo website.  I see that Marketo integration with other CRMs costs additional money (e.g. integration with Netsuite costs $6K per year) according to this page: [http://www.marketo.com/packages/integration-packages.php] but I can't find the same info regarding Salesforce.com.

So I was thinking this must be the easiest thing to do in Marketo........but not at all!!All I want to do is schedule emails to go out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for new leads who enter our system. I was hoping the Wait function would allow you to add a choice and say when not to send, but this isnt the case! Anyone have any ideas how you might get around this issue? **note leads are created, the first of 5 mails is to be sent on the closest Mon, Wed or Fri, then after that the 4 remaining mails will be sent on either the following Monday, Wed or Friday.....Thanks,Barry

I am fairly new to using Marketo, but have used other MA platforms before.  I am trying to figure out why our "Add To SFDC Campaign" action in our campaign flow is not working.  It is a customer base campaign (so there is an existing SFDC Account and Contact for the Marketo Lead), and we have a POI model in place (New lead is created if one does not exist, regardless of the existance of a related contact).  The campaign is associating to the contact record, but it is not associating to the new lead that is created.  Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get it to associate to both?

We created landing pages, but it seems that views within different browsers are different (where the footer lands). We adjusted it enough so everything looks good in Safari, IE, Firefox & Chrome (forefox & chrome has extra white space at the bottom), but on the iPhone, the footer with the social media icons floats halfway through the text. Any suggestions on what to do?

My form setup is as follows:I have several check boxes overlaid on an image.
