I need to take say Action A if a particular component is included in a page.Consider the above given page for this page(ie landingPage) i need check if mediaImage component is included in the page.I found a reference where it was said it can be done with a slingQuery to check if component exists in that pageif yes then can get a reference code snippet?if no what other approach can we used?Thanks you

Hi All, We have extended the OOTB teaser component to add few more properties, for which I have used the recommended delegation pattern, but after I added delegation code OOTB image component starts breaking. First of all, how does OOTB image component gets impacted by extends teaser component this makes me nervous relying on OOTB core components. Presently we are capturing 'previous page value' under eVar but with this we are getting irrelevant previous pages (after breaking down the previous page value) which also contains some pages which are not directly contributing as previous page for that instance. So should we use Prop insted of eVar for 'Previous Page' Variable?

I have a report with a column for start date for projects.  However, it's showing everything, even projects that are over.  I saw that I can use a filter to pull dates "greater than" but it looks like I have to put in a specific date.  Is there a filter that I can create in the report that only shows the current and future dates?

Hello,   Seeing a strange issue. I have browsed the forum but not seeing anyone else reporting this. Here is the scenario: We created a system user and mapped the user using "Apache Sling Service User Mapper Service" - NOT the amendment config. This was on SP12 and everything worked fine - multiple restarts wasn't an issue.   Once we upgraded to SP15, we decided to remove this user mapping and add it to the "Apache Sling Service User Mapper Service Amendment" instead. Everything worked fine at this point, but once the AEM has been restarted, seeing a 503 error when trying to access AEM, error in the logs is something users have reported before but not this particular usecase: "org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl ServletResolver service missing, cannot service requests , sending status 503"   Every answer on this forum points to issue with the repository or oak index, but a simple solution that worked for us was to uncheck "Require Validation" under "Ap

I was set up with administrator privileges which should give me access to a full or extended main menu, but the menu I have access to is limited. For example, my menu doesn't include Teams, Users, Boards, Analytics, Reports, etc. The admin who set me up can't figure out why I don't have access to these things. If I go into "Edit Person/Access", it shows my access level is System Administrator, but it's disabled (grayed out). Not sure if that means anything. Any ideas on how we can fix this?

Hi all! I am working on a report for a team showing all of the tasks assigned to that team. I'd like to limit the number of tasks shown per project so that, regardless of if the task is ready to start or not, it shows the next task the team will work on for that project.  Is this possible? Ideally, when the team marks the task they're working on to 100%, the next task that is assigned to them on that project will appear on the report.  Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am stumped. I need to be able to convert a number to its ones value only. For example: if someone enters 65, I need it to return only the 5. Another example: 87 returns only the 7, etc. There will be no decimal numbers. Any idea how I could accomplish this? Thank you

Dear All, I have an Customized CF Model. While creating CF and updating the content it is updating all field rather than particular field.  For example I have a section called Include Posts and Collaboration Hub in the CF, as shown below.  Now if I am updating any content in the Content Fragment Model then all the section lastmodified date is updated with the same date , as shown below. Now I have updated include Posts and it is updated and stored in masternode, as shown below  But Along with My CollaborationSectionLabel@LastModified date also updated, as shown below  Basically whenever I am updating any Content in my CF then all last modified date is updating for all section. Is there a way to update last modified date only for section which is to be updated? 

I have a custom component that I am attempting to add a parsys for authors to drop other custom components into. I am running AEM 6.5.13. I have added a design dialog for use with editable templates. I have used the template editor to allow certain components to be dropped in the parsys. However, the parsys is not allowing any components to be added to it.
