Hi AllNeed some suggestionsWe are having pages built on static templates using at least 50+ custom componentsThere is a plan to migrate to Editable templates and core componentsThese are the questions i have1. In static template we use design mode to configure many components (Eg: header, navigation, footer etc) via design dialog and these properties are stored under /etc/d/esigns node. how do we migrate or redesign these components.2. We have a style system based on which current custom components are developed. if we need to use core components and be able to use the available style system, using core components without any customisation wont work, whole mark up needs to change to match the existing style system. How to use core components if we have to use the existing style system? Please provide your valuable suggestions 

Hi Everyone,We are working to achieve Dark Mode functionality for our components. We have achieved the functionality ,but the point where we need suggestions/solutions is for optimizing CSS.We have tried the below ways to include CSS :1. Place the CSS in the clientlibs : placing the CSS in the clientlibs is creating an issue for us.The issue isit generates <link> tag  like this  <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mystyle.css"> . This is an issue because our components are used on email clients , and some of the email clients will not support this and it will break the component and the content.2. Tried placing the CSS in Component's HTML (internal style sheet) - does not work as expected.3. used wcmBindings- helper class, not working (found it on some article , very less knowledge about it.) Our aim is to optimize CSS, or load the css classes dynamically for the component, so that the page load is faster, and when we author the page and check the pa

Hi All,when I configure the content of RTE in minimize mode of the dialog and select any of the plugin it is working as expected as shown below:but when I opened the same in the maximize (Full screen mode) and select any plugin it is not working as expected. I have added dialogFullScreen setting to configure the toolbar for full screen mode and also there are no console errors. please refer to the below screenshots:  Here in the above screenshot when we select underline word and apply underline plugin it is not working as expectedSo, can anyone help me out to resolve this issue.Thanks,Pranitha

I am having a package named for-example.zip with version 0.0.1 and group my_packages. Now I have changed the group and name of the package from my_packages to aem_group and from for-example.zip to new-package.zip. But the contents of the packages are same. I want the new-package.zip to replace for-example.zip correctly while installing. I am trying to establish this by adding the name of the package in replace property in dependency tab.  Can someone please tell me if this is the correct way and how do I validate if the package has successfully replaced the other package?

I am getting the following error when I try to deploy my AEM project on Cloud Manager. The following errors were found in the httpd config: conf.d/available_vhosts/default.vhost:12: included file (conf.d/variables/custom.vars) does not match any known fileI tried running the validator script on the dispatcher locally and I got a few warnings along with this error. I have checked the file names as well as path and everything seems right. Not sure how to fix this error   

I am looking for a solution on adding a custom mandatory field while creating an experience fragment after the template selection step(PFA screenshot). The requirement is to not allow experience fragment creation until a specific custom field is filled. Is there a way to achieve this?

Actually i created a custom slider we can say it custom slider, but the issue is when I used this component in a page 3 times then, suppose first time I selected 4 slides(images and text), second time I chose 3 slides(images and text) third time I chose 2 slides , so the last one which I used is updated why? please provide solution.

Hi I want to read all the files present in a folder in crx/de.  So for example I have one folder in crx/de(AEM 6.5) by name DataJson which contains json files.For example file names are one.json, two.json, three,json.Now I want to access the name of all the files which is present in DataJson folder in my sling model. 

My system keeps crashing and is very slow and shows error as "cacheManager: ResizeAll"what is the reason? and  how it can be rectified?

Adobe documentation mentions about using Adobe Launch for integrating with Adobe target.   Queries: For creating Adobe Launch IMS config in Local SDK, which API should be configured in https://developer.adobe.com/ ?   What is the purpose of Target API? Hi there,  I would like to receive a daily email report detailing the performance metrics for delivery1, delivery2, and delivery3. These metrics should include the number of recipients who received emails, as well as the open rate and click rate. Is there a way to configure this, I belive , I should look for broadlog table data and tracking log data  but how can I calculate the opens & clicks. Please suggest Thank you in advance.

I have a root page say en, en has property cancelInsta checkbox checked and i have page en/index on this page the value of the checkbox returning is true and i have another page en/profession/product on this page the value is returning false. The vinheritedpageproperties value is returning different on different pages any help on this.

HiI am using the SLY templating language in AEM to display data on company page, and I have run into a problem with decimal rounding. Here's a snippet of the sly code I'm using. <sly data-sly-test.fourDecimals="${'0.0000' @ i18n, locale=countryPage.language, hint='test page'}"></sly> <sly data-sly-test.testcode="${fourDecimals @ format=properties['testcode'], locale=countryPage.languageCode, type='number'}"></sly> When I input data like 4999.0520, it gets displayed on the page as 499.0518. Does anyone know if this is an issue related to show sly handles decimal numbers? Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.thank you 

I'm attempting to rebuild templates that I created within my sandbox environment but when I build them in prod the total project duration is completely off. I've included a screenshot below of the template I'm trying to recreate.  As you can see the development & review summary task says the steps will take 60 days in the sandbox but the same template with all the same tasks, durations, task constraints, and predecessors is saying it will take 112 days in production.  Would love to know if anyone has seen issues like this before! I've submitted a support ticket but they haven't responded to any of my emails : P. I'll close this question and include the solution if support is able to figure out what is going on before we can!
